Clam Jam

“ W hat did you think?” I ask Drew after the movie is over. “Keep in mind that if you say you hated it, I will ask you respectfully, yet forcefully, to leave.”

He laughs. “Well, it’s a good thing that I liked it then, huh?”

“I knew I liked you.” I point my finger at him. “Pretty sure Brendon Fraser was my first celebrity crush.”

“I get it. He’s a good-looking dude.”

“You’re not so bad yourself.”

I get up to put the rest of the Chinese food in the fridge as he asks, “Would you say this is your favorite movie?”

“Probably. It’s definitely my comfort movie. What’s your favorite?”

He thinks for a minute. “I don’t know that I have one. I don’t always have a lot of time to watch them.”

A small part of me wonders what he’s so busy with. But I don’t need to know. It’s none of my business.

Instead, I say, “I don’t always have a ton of time either. My brother, Dylan, is a huge cinephile, so he was always having me watch stuff with him. Now, I mainly just watch The Mummy over and over. And baking shows. That’s about it.”

“I turn on nature documentaries to fall asleep to.”

I nod. “Can't say I blame you there. Those would probably put me to sleep too.”

When I sit back down on the couch, I stretch my legs, and Drew puts them in his lap. His fingers start massaging my feet as he asks, “So, you like The Mummy. What other things are you into?”

“Uhm,” I think. “I guess I’m into a lot of things. Really, I’ll try to do anything at least once.”

He raises an eyebrow. “Anything?”

“Why? Is there something special you have in mind?” I ask, pulling one of my legs back and letting my knees fall open.

“Oh, beautiful, with you, I want to try everything .”

“Prove it.”

“How about we go use some of those toys of yours?”

I smile. “Say less.”

Grabbing my hand, he pulls me toward him so that I’m straddling his lap. We make out as I move my hips in a small circle.

Drew’s hands palm my ass cheeks as his kisses move down to the tops of my breasts. I moan his name as he gives the skin a soft bite. That really gets his motor running, and his large hands rip my panties.

I look down at him. “You know, you’re going to have to restock my underwear drawer if you keep doing that.”

“Oh, beautiful, not a problem,” he says before picking me up, wrapping my legs around him, and laying me back on the couch.

He gets on his knees in front of me and pushes my thighs apart. “Now to make sure this pussy is nice and wet.”

I think the ship has already sailed on that one, but if he wants to flood the dam first, who am I to stop him?

His tongue and fingers get to work, and I lean back and get lost in the moment. Just when I’m about to reach complete euphoria, there’s a knock on the door.

I have no idea who it would be…and quite frankly, I don’t care.

“Just ignore it,” I say.

I’m hoping they leave but no such luck. There’s another knock—this one louder.

“Go away!” I call.

“Come on, Aunt Ronnie. Open up! It’s Eve.”

“I’m not home.”

“Please!”

I let out a heavy sigh as Drew moves away from me.

“Hold on,” I yell. Turning my attention to him, I say, “That’s my niece. Go wait in the bedroom for me, and I’ll try to get rid of her.”

He walks into the other room while I grab a pair of pajama pants to throw on since I am now going commando.

I open up the door to see my fifteen-year-old niece standing there with tear-stained cheeks.

“Eve, what’s wrong?”

She practically tackles me with her hug. The moment she’s in my arms, she cries harder.

“Eve, what happened?”

No answer.

“Come on. Let’s get inside.”

She’s still attached to me as I lead her to the couch. I finally get her to let go when I have her sit.

“Can…I…stay…here…tonight?” She says between sobs.

“Is that necessary?” I ask, prompting her to cry harder. “Okay, okay, calm down. Does your mom know where you are?”

She shakes her head back and forth.

“Alright, I’m going to call her real quick.”

“Don’t! She’s going to kill me. She didn’t know I went to the party!”

Oh, lord. What did this girl get into?

“Hey, I need to call her so that doesn’t have the cops out looking for you. I won’t say anything else to her except that you’re staying here tonight.”

She reluctantly nods, and I walk to the bedroom to make the call. I’m startled seeing Drew lying on the bed. I kind of forgot he was in here.

“Everything okay?” He asks.

“Just a teenage emergency.” I roll my eyes while punching Michelle’s number into my phone.

“Hello?” She answers.

“Hey, Michelle. I’m going to say something, and I need you not to freak out.”

“You saying that kind of freaks me out, but okay.”

“Eve is over here.”

There’s a long pause. “Why is Eve over there? She’s supposed to be at her friend, Amanda’s…” her voice trails off. “What the hell is going on?”

“I’m not exactly sure. She showed up here crying. I haven’t gotten any details yet because I wanted to call you first.”

“Okay, I’m on my way.”

I can’t believe the words that are about to come out of my mouth. “I don’t think that’s a good idea. Look, let her stay here for the night, and I will see what’s going on with her.”

She stays silent, and I know she’s considering it. I add, “You dragging her out of here isn’t going to help anything. She’s just going to get pissed at you, and she’ll shut down.”

With a hefty dose of attitude, she spits, “Fine. But I will be there first thing in the morning.”

And she hangs up.

Closing my eyes and trying to find my center, I say, “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but—”

He stops me. “You have to deal with family stuff.”

“Unfortunately.”

“I get it.” He stands up and starts to get dressed.

I walk over to him. “I’m really sorry. You have no idea how sorry.”

He smiles. “No need to be sorry. Family comes first.”

“It’s times like these that I regret moving back home.”

He sets his hands on my shoulders. “Go be a good aunt.”

“I’ll try to be done early tomorrow…if you want to come back over.”

He leans down to kiss me. “Call me, and I’ll be here. We have a whole drawer of toys to play with.”

I groan. “You can’t say things like that when you’re walking out the door.”

I lead him out of the bedroom and toward the front door. Eve sees him, and her eyes go wide.

She jumps off the couch. “Oh, my gosh! I didn’t know you had a guy here! I’m so sorry! You guys were going to do it, weren’t you? I’ll go hang out in the other bedroom. I’ll put on my headphones, and you won’t even know I’m here.”

I hold up my hand. “Calm down. You don’t have to go hide.” I point to the couch. “Sit. Prepare to talk.”

We get to the door, and I step onto the porch with him.

He turns to look at me. “Hope everything goes alright tonight.”

I sigh. “You and me both.” I usually would have just told her to get lost, but—”

“It’s probably a big deal.”

“It better be. She better have a good reason for being a clam jam.”

He raises an eyebrow. “Clam jam?”

“Yeah. It’s the female equivalent to a cock block. Clam Jam. Or beaver impeder. Taco blocko.”

He laughs. “How about I give you double the orgasms next time I see you?”

“I’m holding you to that.”
