Page 82 of The Saviors: Part Two
“We can see if Les wants to stay behind with them with a couple of guys,” Zane adds. “She’s been dying to have a girl’s day.”
“Chelsea too,” Axel laughs.
I’ve never been more glad that Les and the girls are here for Chelsea. The more we get into this, the more she’s starting to realize that Amber was never truly her friend. But the most loyal friends she’ll ever have are Les, Evie, and Bridget. I still feel like shit that I’m the one that put this bug in Axel’s ear, but I’ll do anything to make sure she stays safe and with us.
Although I worried at first about what happened upstairs, it just solidified my place in this family. I should have known that Chelsea wouldn’t have cared. Nolan shocked the shit out of me when he had his pick between Sean and Cole but picked me. When he said my name, I thought I was hearing things. Then I saw how he was looking at me. I’ve gotten over the scars, but in my mind, I was a monster because of what I’ve done with my bare hands. None of them have ever treated me that way, and it’s time I start showing them how much I appreciate it.
“Earth to Gorilla,” Sean says, snapping me back to the conversation. “I asked if you were good with questioning. We need to grab a couple to interrogate instead of killing them all.”
I know what that means, and it no longer scares me to turn into that person. Chelsea loves me, flaws and all. “I’m good.”
“What about you, Gray? You ready to bring the Reaper out to play?” Axel asks.
Gray clears his throat. “Yeah, as long as Mateo’s with me. He’s the only one who can bring me back.”
“You pick your teams,” Axel says softly. “I’m not running this show for you guys, just my team.”
Gray smiles. “Love looks good on you.”
Axel’s eyes cut to Nolan and then back to Gray before Nolan notices. “It feels damn good.”
“We have some shit to talk about,” Gray says.
Axel chuckles. “Yeah, we do. You want to start a group chat?” he jokes.
“I want in the girl’s group chat,” Sean throws in. “You know that shit is wild.”
“It can make Les blush if that tells you anything,” Zane adds. “We’ve all tried to see what they talk about.”
“Caden was this close,” Ghost says, holding his thumb and forefinger close together, “to getting into the chat. Bridget said they just bitch about us all the time, but I call bullshit.”
“They’re probably comparing our dick sizes,” Cole laughs. “Or bedroom activities.”
Nolan looks around the room. “I don’t know if I like being a topic of this chat conversation.”
“I can tell you with one hundred percent certainty that you have nothing to worry about, Naughty boy.”
Sean jerks his thumb at me. “Neither does King Kong Dong over here.”
“King Kong Dong?” Ghost says, then busts out laughing. “Holy shit. Wait until Bridget hears that one.”
I shake my head with a smile at Sean. Seeing him with Cole yesterday bothered me at first because I know what they had. Then I saw how Cole was looking at Sean, and it turned into intrigue. Every one of us deserves someone to look at us that way, and we’re finally getting it. Now that Sean and I have admitted our feelings for each other, I’ve looked at Sean differently.
I’d lay my life down for him just as quickly as I would Chelsea.
Chapter27
Chelsea
As soon as Les showed up at the cabin, she dragged me upstairs because of what I sent to the group chat. I laugh when she shoves me to sit on the bed and sits cross-legged beside me.
“I need to know everything.”
I shake my head with a laugh. “No way. Bridget and Evie will kill me if I spill to just you.”
Les flops back on the bed with a groan. “Come on. I’ve beendyingto know the dynamics of this group. I think I figured out a couple, but I need more.”
“You sound like Gage.”
