Page 112 of The Saviors: Part Two
“Well, hello, Gorgeous,” Sean purrs. “What are you wearing?”
“Don’t you dare start that,” Chelsea laughs. “At least with everyone else on here.”
“So, you’re telling me if they weren’t on here, you would talk dirty to us, Ladybug?”
“Maybe.”
“This we need to put into action for next time. I could be slipping through the night with her telling me how bad she wants to suck my cock,” Sean says.
“Can we focus for once?” Zane replies.
“Don’t be a mood ruiner, Big daddy,” Gage jokes.
“Why are you even on comms if you’re at home?”
“I’m insanely hurt that you don’t want me on here. Pretty girl! Zane doesn’t want me on comms!”
“I wouldn’t know why,” Hart retorts. “Holden’s almost done with the security.”
Axel looks at Nolan, and he nods. “Same here,” Axel replies. “As soon as they have the cameras looping, you need to move.”
“Got it.”
“Gage, quick question,” Caden’s voice filters through. “How good would you eat my ass if I told you that I could get you into the girl group chat?”
“No fucking way.” Gage squeals like a girl, and everyone starts busting out laughing. “Are you in?”
“Yeah. Bridget added me the other day.”
“He’s fucking lying,” Bridget laughs. “You would be the last one in, Caden, because you have a big mouth.”
“Firefly,” Caden whines. “I swear I won’t tell anyone else what it says.”
“Bullshit,” Ghost snorts. “You would run through fire just to tell one of us.”
“Just for that, no sexy time for you.”
“I bet I could convince you, Baby love.”
“I’m in!” Nolan yells. “Move.”
Axel and I exchange a look. We slide through the sunroof so the lights in the car don’t come on. We each go to the separate locations that Micah told us had the best view. I climb up the big ass tree and look through the scope of my rifle. “I see three over here,” I relay.
“Four on this side,” Axel says. “We need to drop them quickly before they can alert anyone.”
I steady the rifle on the branch in front of me, relax my body, and take a deep breath. When I was first training, I thought I would never understand the shit you have to go through to kill someone from long range. Now, I can do it without a second thought. I line up the shot on the first guard and wait for the second one to get a little closer.Come on, come on.They’re almost shoulder to shoulder, so I pull the trigger, dropping the first. Moving the rifle slightly to the left, I drop the second one. The third one comes around the corner, sees his dead friends, and pulls out a radio. I shoot it from his hand before he can even hit the button and then put a bullet in his forehead. “All down.”
“One more,” Axel whispers. “Got him.”
“We’re on the move,” Hart says. “Going in the house now.”
Axel and I drop from our locations to meet at the front gate. We scale the fence, and when our boots hit the other side, we see the others dropping beside us. Axel gives a quick glance at Nolan, and Nolan nods to let him know he’s fine. We rush into the house, guns at the ready, just in case someone pops out. After doing a quick sweep, we holster them and start searching. The place is still almost completely empty except for a few pieces of furniture scattered around.
“Oh, holy shit,” Banger says with a gag. “What the fuck is that smell?”
Caden starts cackling. “I forgot to tell you guys that he has a weak stomach.”
“Fuck you. This is worse than burning flesh.”
