“Here,” I manage to say between kisses.

“What?” He asks unaware.

“My omega mark.”

This gets his attention.

“What?”

“I wanted you to be the first to know where my omega mark is.”

“That’s real?” He asks and I snort at him. He picks me up, despite my squeaked protest, and carries me into the house. He carries me all the way to his room. I manage to shut the door with my foot. He lays me on his bed and turns me over to inspect.

“You thought it was a myth?”

“For sure. Oh my god, there it is. How did I miss it?”

It’s a light orange half-moon on my ribs. Kind of on my back, kind of on my side.

“Can I?” He asks so sweetly. I nod and smile. “Yes.”

His thumb coasts over it. Little tingles dance along my skin. Then he bends down and licks it. He breathes over it. I’m instantly ready.

“I’ve licked this before,” he realizes. “At Sky Nest. During your bond-sickness.”

He did. Totally running on instinct I’m sure.

“I want to make love to you—with my mouth on this mark.”

And I giggle as he bites it gently.

He pulls my shorts and panties down my legs, taking my socks and shoes with them. Then he turns my body and pulls me up so he can take off my sweatshirt and undershirt. I’m naked suddenly. My hands are on his jeans trying to undo the brass button. He takes over for me and takes his pants off. His cock tents his underwear and the sight makes me want to die it’s so sexy.

“Ondine, I know that Jake is kinky and sexual. Likes to play games and have others participate, like me. He told me about tying you up.” He kneels on the bed in front of me while panting like crazy, “And Shadow has this whole, being dominated thing that you all like.” He does like being told what to do, doesn’t he? “And you’ve got Arnold, who knows you so intimately. All your fantasies.” I want to pull him closer but he’s staying a little out of reach. “But I like when it’s just you and I. I want when we are together, it’s about us and how much I care about you.”

He shows me what he means by caressing my skin with his large hand—over my stomach, up my ribs, tenderly across my breasts.

“I like to light candles and lower the lights. Play music. Be close.”

Oh, my sensual lover boy. I nod enthusiastically. He slowly leaves me to do just that. He closes the curtains while shedding his underwear. Lights candles on his dresser. Locks his bedroom door. He wants privacy.

He finds his phone, but just stops and stares at the screen

“What is it?”

“Boone keeps texting me.”

I grit my teeth.

“Why?”

He sighs. “He says he misses me.” Sabbies looks up at me and says, “I’m not responding. It’s fine, Ondine. I’m ignoring him. And you should too.”

He turns on some R&B on his speakers. “Is this music ok?”

The beat is slow and full of bass.

“It’s very sexy.”
