“You want to follow me around while I take care of my projects?”
“Yes,” I answer seriously.
He shakes his head. “You’re teasing me.”
Now is a good time to mention he’s shirtless.
He stands there in the sunshine, soaking it all into his golden skin. My head nearly falls over.
“If you like the view so much, why don’t you come here and do something about it?”
I look down at Killer. Sorry, baby cat. I lift her up and gently set her down next to me, but she just wakes up and darts away.
I drop my blankets and saunter up to him. I’m wearing drawstring shorts and a sweatshirt. A winning spring combination.
“You have shoes?” He asks me. I look back at my slide-ons I left by the bench. “Go put them on. I’m gonna teach you how to throw a punch.”
I let out a little gasp. I know he told me he would, but I didn’t think he actually remembered. I throw my shoes on and meet him out on the lawn.
“What am I gonna punch?”
He turns to the side a little. “Let’s say my arm. That way I’ll feel how hard you’re doing it.”
Gosh. His arms? They are so hard and muscly, he’ll probably hurt me more than I could ever hurt him.
I ball up my fist and hunch over staring at the spot I want to hit.
“Ok, ok, ok. Stop that. First, do not curl your fingers over your thumb. You did that when you hit Man-ho, and remember how you pretty much broke your thumb? The bruising?”
“Barely. There were a few other things going on.” And omegas heal fast. It hurt, but that was the least of my worries.
He unwraps my thumb and places it across my fingers. “You’ll want to make contact with these two knuckles here. If you hit with your back three knuckles,” he pushes my fist into his arm, and they slide away, “there’s no power and you’ll hurt yourself again. And don’t hunch over like that either.”
I straighten up. He directs my punch a few times until I take over. “Good. Good. Now throw your body into it.”
I punch his arm over and over again until it starts to sound like it’s doing something. He shows me the same thing with my other hand. I continue punching him in his arms and chest.
“And don’t underestimate the slap. A loose fist slap can do a lot of damage.” I slap his arm. “See how when you slap you twist your hips like that? That’s what makes it a powerhouse. Your punches need a lot of upper body strength, but your center of gravity is your hips. I bet if you’d turned around and slapped Man-ho, you’d knock him silly.”
Riled up by his words, I spin and slap him across the face and sure enough his head whips to the side. I cover my mouth in shock. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry!”
He laughs and rubs his cheek. “See? You’re dangerous now.”
I turn his face so I can see his red cheek. Wow I got him good. I pull him towards me and kiss his cheek.
“You’re too good of a teacher. I’ve already beat you.”
He gives me a knowing smile and just stays quiet. Like a good boy. He smells incredible. I say fuck it, and lick him up his chest. He shivers in response. He tastes of sweat and sunshine.
“Do you want to know a secret?” I ask.
He thinks about his answer. “I want you to tell me all your secrets.”
Then he kisses me, and I didn’t even have to ask. I know we are on the front lawn and Sabbies is very conscience of our public appearance so I go to pull away. But he doesn’t let me. He pulls me back to him. Kissing me deeper.
I must reward him.
I take his hand and pull it to my side, guiding his hand on my body until it’s just under my ribs on my back.
