Breach
Ondine
Freddie is doing push-ups while only wearing black little briefs. I’ve showered and dressed, otherwise I might be tempted to slide right underneath him. I lean against the wall and try to keep my drooling to a minimum. He turns his head to smirk at me. He can feel how turned on I am.
“I had a feeling you felt like this when you were watching me. It’s nice to be validated.” He winks at me and I can feel my face flush. I place my hands on my hot cheeks to try to minimize the damage. He laughs a little at my distress.
There’s a small knock at the door. I cross the room, and Freddie swipes at my ankles as he does another push up. I screech and hop away.
“Freddie!”
I’m laughing as I open the door to reveal Sebastian. He looks bashful. And unsure. I don’t think he wanted to intrude. I beam at him. He’s wearing slacks and a button-down shirt, no tie. He’s got the shadow of a beard, which I notice because he rubs his face.
“I ordered breakfast, and it just arrived. Are you…two hungry?” I look back at my newly minted mate who stands up from his pushups.
“For you, Sabbies? Always.”
I roll my eyes and turn back to Sabbies.
“I’m hungry. Lead the way.”
As I shut the door, I make sure Freddie sees me stick my tongue out at him.
There’s a cart with muffins and bacon. Coffee and tea. Also, some bowls of fruit. It smells amazing. I’m trying to think of the last time I ate and I cannot.
I startle when I see Boone Anderson standing near the windows.
What the fuck is he doing here?
“Hello, Ondine,” he greets me pleasantly.
“Hi,” I dutifully reply.
Sebastian pulls out a chair for me on the small table. He begins to assemble me a plate and then stops, looking down the hall at the door to the nest.
I place my hand over his and say, “I’ll get it this time.”
We look each other in the eyes. I wish so badly that Boone wasn’t here so I could ask about what he and Freddie did last night. I want every sordid detail. Boone makes his way to me and I scrunch up my face so I don’t accidentally smell him.
He extends his hand to give me some tea packets. It’s the catnip tea I like.
Oh. Well, that’s nice.
“Thanks,” I say and then I hear Freddie come out of the nest.
He’s wearing some athletic pants but no shirt. Makes sense since I’m currently wearing his shirt. God, he’s so beautiful. There’s this muscled V leading right down his pants. He sees me looking and pulls his pants even lower on his hips. Good fucking god. I rush to cover him from Boone’s view. I don’t want him to see my mate. It’s a strange primal instinct. I don’t have to do anything else, because Freddie pulls me up in his arms and kisses me.
“What did Sabbies get us, princess?”
My hands track down his torso as he sets me down
“Muffins. And bacon. And coffee. Let me get you some.” I spin around and take a mug and the carafe.
“Coffee? You don’t drink coffee?” He tries to take the carafe from me but I step into him so he can’t. I’m going to pour his coffee and he can’t stop me. He looks like he’s going to physically move me out of his way, but then he finally notices Boone.
“What the hell is a lawyer doing here? Sabbies, is the Meier pack suing me?”
