Page 66 of Meek: Chasing That Gangsta Love
I just knew he’d have the cutest nose
The most beautiful hair and irresistible little mouth
The chunkiest little legs, the softest little buns
The most perfect little fingers, and his mom’s gorgeous eyes.
Congrats on your new bundle of joy
On the bottom of the card there were some words in Victoria’s writing, so I read that as well:
Kisha, I knew we’ve had our ups and downs, and we didn’t start off right. I’ve grown to love you like a daughter and I couldn’t have chosen a better woman than you to birth my grandchild. We have a long way to go from here and I want to be there every step of the way. This union is perfect, and I thank you. I know you’re ready to put this card down and get back to being a mom, but I have one question before you go.
Kisha, will you marry my son?
My heart started racing and I wanted to cry all over again but what I didn’t expect was to see Meek down on one knee holding a box open exposing a huge diamond. “Kisha, no matter what we’ve been through I’ve never forgot about us. I love you and my son, it was only right that I make this union right in front of him. Let’s make this black love last forever baby girl. So, what you say?”
“You better say yes!”Mya cheesed from ear to ear. For the first time ever, I witnessed Victoria cry. She looked at me and nodded her head while holding the baby.
I lookedat Meek with tears running down my face. “I wouldn’t have it any other way Meek. I love you.”
He jumped up. “She said yes!”He kissed my lips. “Man, I love the shit out of you. You gotta come home Kisha, I need ya’ll.”
I wipedmy face and held the ring examining it since my fingers were to swole to wear it. It was beautiful. “I don’t know what to say Meek.”
He leaned in over me.“Just say yes Kish.”
I lookedat my sleeping baby and then at Meek. My son needed his father just as much as I did. “We’ll come home.” I agreed. “I love you Meek.”
“I love you too Kisha, but you already knew that.” He kissed me again.
Our life wasn’t over,it was just beginning, and love would always conquer all. Thanks for reading our story.
The End.
