“His girlfriend?” She pinned Sean with a stare. “It looks like someone’s been holding out on us. Blair will be green when she hears about this.”

Irritation flitted across Sean’s face. “Kristen, as much as I love to share every detail of my social life with the rest of the world, this relationship is still fairly new. I didn't want you all to scare her off before she had a chance to get to know me.”

Sean slipped his arm around her waist and pressed a kiss to her neck, tingles spreading down her arm and chest.

Erin smiled and placed a hand on his cheek, dropping a soft kiss on his lips.

“I like you for you,” she whispered, his lips ticking up at the sides.

“Well, the secret’s out,” Kristen said. “Erin, you’ll have to tell me everything.”

“I’ll be happy to,” Erin replied, looking back at the couple.

“Kris, let’s go dance. I hear Frank Sinatra starting,” David said, grabbing her hand.

With one last look at them, they disappeared, the sounds of Frank Sinatra’sFly Me To The Moonreaching their ears.

Sean squeezed her waist and dropped his arm, holding it out to her.

“Would you like to dance?” he asked.

Erin downed the rest of her cosmo and took his arm.

“I’d love to.”

He finished his old fashioned, and they headed for the dance floor, dropping off their glasses at the bar.

A large wooden dance floor had been erected on the terrace, with heat lamps placed on the edges to keep everyone warm.

Large poles stood tall with lights strung between them, casting a soft glow over the floor.

A string quintet was seated at the edge of the floor opposite the bar, flanked by heat lamps to keep them warm.

She halted them on the edge of the dance floor, popping open the clutch and extending out the long silver chain strap, closing the clutch and placing it over her shoulder before he led her onto the dance floor.

He took her hand in his and slipped his other around her waist, her hand going to his shoulder.

“Are you having fun?” he asked, moving them out of the way when an exuberant couple passed by them.

“I am,” she replied, drinking in his face in the soft light.

So handsome.

The song came to an end, and they went to leave the floor, but the quintet struck up again.

Dream A Little Dream of Mefilled the area, and he asked her if she wanted to continue.

“Yes, please,” she replied, practically dragging him back onto the dance floor.

Sliding his arm around her waist, he took her hand in his. Settling her hand on his shoulder, she closed the gap between them, bringing his tall frame flush against hers.

She looked into his eyes as they moved, keeping the contact the entire time.

“You’re beautiful,” he whispered, the music floating around them.

“Thank you,” she replied, a light flush coming over her. “You are incredibly handsome, did you know that?”

He looked contemplative for a moment. “I’ve been told that before, yes.”
