“Bungalow.” He skimmed his lips along my jaw. “And then I’ll strip you out of this suit and ride you until you scream my name.”
“Or until you scream mine.”
“Challenge accepted,” he said with a smile.
Hand in hand, we walked down the aisle and toward the reception area. Decorative lanterns lit the path, the warm glow of them soothing. Not as soothing as his scent though: sweet cedar and a musk that was unique only to him. Moonlight brought out the silvery tint of his pale blond hair, and when he smiled over at me, the edges of his eyes crinkled.
A pang went through my heart, and I held his hand a bit tighter.
One day, we’d both look back on this moment and know it was the start of an amazing life together.

Four Months Later
A steaming cup of tea made for an excellent start to any morning. But so did being woken from sleep by a ridiculously sexy angel kissing your neck.
“Good morning.” I wrapped my arms around him as he settled between my legs. Our cocks pressed together, his rock hard and mine certainly rising to the occasion. His warm skin smelled amazing as I pressed my face to his shoulder.
“Good morning.” Lazarus dropped more kisses to my neck and rolled his hips forward. “Any suggestions on how we should start the day?”
“I can think of a few things.” I ran my fingers over the slits in his shoulder blades. He softly groaned as I eased them inside.
Life in the celestial realm had been awkward at first. Since my brothers and I’d defeated Lucifer, we were seen as heroes among the angels. Not all of them knew how to behave around me. However, there’d been no animosity like I’d expected. And after a few weeks, that awkwardness had lessened. Uriel avoided me like the plague, but in the rare instances we came across each other, he merely snarled and walked away.
As for living with Lazarus?
Well, that morning was a good example. Our days had been filled with making love and deepening our connection, learning more about each other. He had built me a library and helped me stock it with copies of all the books I’d lost in the fire. Some evenings, he would sit with me as I read. And sometimes, he’d ask me to read aloud to him while he held me. It was those moments that felt the most intimate. Special.
He still commanded a force of angels; however, now that we were no longer at war, he had more time to spend at home.
“What time are we meeting your brothers?” he asked.
“Three o’clock.”
“Mmm.” Lazarus gave my cock a slow pull. “Plenty of time for me to worship every inch of you then.”
I cracked a smile and arched into his palm. “I like the sound of that.”
Every Sunday, my brothers and our mates came together to visit and eat dinner. Sometimes it took place at Raiden and Titan’s house; other times, we went to Clara’s. The location didn’t matter as long as we were all together. We might’ve had our own lives now, but we always made time for each other.
Lazarus kissed down my chest, swirled his tongue across my navel, and took my cock into his mouth. He took his time prepping me and smiled around my cock as I wiggled my hips, seeking more than the two fingers he was giving me. Soon, though, he ended my torture and crawled back up my body.
He took me gently at first. Our lips softly met as he started a slow rhythm with his hips. He linked our fingers, and the feel of his wedding band set off fireworks in my chest. Four months married to him and I still had trouble believing it. That he was mine. That after everything we’d been through, we had ended up there.
Together and happy.
“I love you,” he said, lips parting as he stared down at me.
“I love you too.” I moved my hand along his collarbone and touched the bottom of the scar on his shoulder. He lowered his face and kissed my scar that matched his. “More than anything in all the realms.”
Lazarus slid his arms beneath me and rolled to his back, placing me on top. “Ride me.”
“Giving me orders?” I braced a hand on his chest and took him deeper inside me.
“No,” he said, his eyelids at half-mast. His fingertips dug into my hips. “I’m giving you control. What will you do with it?”
