“Can I fuck you with my fingers too?”
“Anything. Everything. All of it.” I whimpered as one fingerslipped inside me and my body arched into every bit of pressure, taking it deeper. Every small thrust asking for more.
“Are you sure you’re ready? Don’t want to read a bit more?”
“I’m going to die if you don’t make me come right now.”
Courtney slipped another finger inside. Careful as before, but less gentle. She knew what I wanted. My body clenched around her as she worked my clit with her lips and tongue. My legs pushed together around her, but Courtney kept her rhythm steady.
My hand reached down the front of Courtney’s shirt, finding her nipple and flicking it. The vibration of Courtney’s moan against me sent tingling pressure through my entire body.
Courtney slid one hand beneath my ass, changing the angle just enough that she found some magic place inside me.
Whatever sound came out of me must have been louder than I expected.
“You’re close.”
“I’m so close. Please…”
“Hmmm…” Courtney’s tiny sucks sent shockwaves through my limbs. “I think Icouldmake you scream, but given where we are, do you think you can be quiet enough, Thea?”
“Yes.”
I gasped again as Courtney’s tongue explored someplace else.
“Oh shit.” I found Courtney’s beanie still on one hand and put it over my mouth because I knew I wouldn’t be able to hold back. “I just—” I bucked upward, and a scream tore out of me as Courtney pushed me over the edge into a place where I had no idea where I even was anymore.
When my body stilled, I pulled her up to face me and kissed her.
I tried to think, but my brain had temporarily displayed one of those DNS server error messages over where all my thoughts should be. My lips pressed to hers, and I wrapped my legs around her.
My body couldn’t be close enough, and I wanted her clothesoff, but before I could do anything to make that happen, red-and-blue flashing lights appeared in the window glass.
Courtney rolled off me. “Well, shit.”
CHAPTER 29Thea
Luckily, the park rangers checked out another group first. Getting dressed was a decidedly less sexy process than getting undressed, but by the time the park police pulled up to my Subaru, all my clothes were back in place and Courtney and I were sharing the last thermos of coffee in front of the telescope.
Boots hit the ground. “Good evening, ma’ams.”
“Hi.” Courtney shifted uncomfortably in her camp chair.
But I knew when to play up the Southern charm and use my too-nice face to my advantage. “Beautiful night out here for some stargazing. Everything all right, sir?”
“Oh… hello there. And yes, it sure is, ma’am. We’re just checking around to make sure everyone knows the rules about camping.”
“Yes, sir.” I nodded. “We won’t be out here too much longer. Just trying to get a few more pictures.”
“Sounds good, ma’am.” He stood for a moment and peered up at the sky. “All them stars do look mighty close tonight.”
“They sure do.” When the officer turned away, I winked at Courtney.
“We’re also letting guests know that we had a call in not too long ago about some strange noises that could be coyotes in the area. They might be sick or rabid. The description of the calls was very unusual. Make sure to use your lamps and stay close to the car. Alrighty now?”
A muscle twitched in Courtney’s jaw. “We’ll be careful. Thank you for the warning.”
The park ranger hopped back into his car and sped off, presumably to visit another set of night visitors and warn them about the potential “coyotes.”
