Page 101 of Princess of Bael
I grabbed her before she could comment, carrying her to the bathroom and into the shower.
“Start counting, Princess,” I said, setting her on the bench, flipping on the water, and going to my knees in front of her.
Her sinful gaze lit with golden flames. “What am I counting, Archangel? Heaven seconds?”
“No, little heiress. Orgasms.” My lips went to her inner thigh, my teeth grazing her skin. “I’m giving you at least three before we descend.”
Goose bumps pebbled down her legs. “A good way to convince me to let you live.”
I grinned, my mouth questing upward to her slick heat. Her little nub was practically pulsating, begging for my tongue. I gave it a lick, my gaze locking on hers. “Don’t forget to wash off, Kayla. I’ll be taking us to the human realm once you’re properly satisfied.”
Her nostrils flared, her cheeks turning a dark shade that bordered on red.
“As you said,” I whispered, my words vibrating her delicate skin. “We’re on a deadline, right?”
Kay
My thighs tingledwith intimate reminders of Ezra’s touch, his mouth having left an imprint behind that hummed beneath my jeans.
Not even my golden cuff could mask that residual pleasure. Although, putting it on again did dampen some of the power flowing between us—a reaction I was grateful for, as I didn’t need another reason to desire more from Ezra.
Because, Hell’s realms, the things that Archangel could do with his tongue ought to be a sin. Our descent to the human realm almost felt appropriate after that demonstration.
We’d found a stack of clothes waiting for us outside the shower, suggesting someone had dropped off the articles for us to wear—including my cuff.
But I couldn’t even be embarrassed by the screams that angel had probably overheard.
Because Ezra was worth the outward praise.
He grinned at me now, his hands on my hips as our feet touched the ground. “You look a little distracted, Princess. Something on your mind?”
I returned his smile with a sweet one of my own. “As a matter of fact, yes. I’m thinking about your cock and the things I’m going to do to it after we’re done.”
His grin disappeared behind a smoldering look. “Careful, I could easily take us somewhere else.”
“Hmm, tick-tock,” I replied, my tongue clicking like a clock with the word.
Ezra grabbed me by the back of the neck and pulled me in for a searing kiss that left me winded. His lips curled against mine. “I think you’re starting to like me.”
“I’m not,” I lied.
His smile grew, the golden flecks of his irises swirling with challenge. “We’ll see.”
“Will we?” I blinked up at him, doing my best to feign innocence and ignore the burn in my cheeks. Because yeah, that wasn’t helping my case. But the man had just used that wicked tongue on me. Hardly seemed fair to throw words at me after that.
“We will.” His golden-brown irises lit up with wicked promise, his dimples appearing for a split second before a demonic energy rolled across our skin.
My cuff flared with warning, but the familiar brush of power had me instantly relaxing.
Except for the fact that it had grown.
A lot.
Since our last meeting.
Which only felt like days ago, but would have been years ago in this realm.
I whirled in Ezra’s arms to face the arriving Demonic Lord, his aura a drugging essence that made me dizzy. “Demons,” I breathed, swaying back into Ezra’s chest. His hands went to my hips, holding me against him. “Your energy signature reminds me of Prince Ashmedai.”
