“One more point and I’m the winner,” I boasted as I held the ball and paddle in my hand.
“Yeah, yeah.” Kyden groaned as he bent over to catch his breath.
Kyden and I had played a few rounds of pickleball, and I beat him each round. I tried to take it easy on him since it was his first time, but we both were pretty competitive.
I didn’t play that often, but it helped with my mental and physical fitness, and I figured it would help him too.
Things had been going well for the last couple of months. We spent a lot of time together rebuilding our relationship after the whole ex-wife fiasco. I didn’t understand why he never told me about his marriage, but it didn’t matter because that was in his past, and I was his present and future.
It was all about our relationship and our future together. We actively tried for another baby, but it hadn’t happened at the moment. We knew that it would happen whenever it was our time.
“Looks like you having trouble over there,” I teased.
“Serve the ball, Elise.” Kyden stood up straight and got into position.
I giggled, then mumbled, “Testy much.”
“I heard that.” He clapped his hands. “Let’s go.”
I got in position and hit the ball toward him. I screamed and threw my paddle down when he missed.
Jumping up and down, I shouted, “I won!”
Kyden picked up the ball and walked over to my side. “Calm down. I let you win.”
I cut my eyes at him and twisted my lips. “Okay.”
He picked me up and tickled my stomach, making me squirm in his arms.
“Ky, stop before you make me pee on myself,” I said through my laughter.
He placed me back on the ground and kissed my lips. “We don’t need you doing all of that out here. Come on, so you can go to the bathroom.”
He picked up our paddles and the balls we used, then put them in the bag.
I had to use the bathroom for like ten minutes, but I didn’t say anything since we were in the middle of a game. Plus I was in the lead, so I had to win first.
With the bag in one hand and my hand in the other, Kyden led us over to the park’s bathroom. I hated using public restrooms, but I wasn’t going to be able to wait until we got to one of our houses.
When I was done, we walked to his car. He opened the door for me and closed it when I got situated. I heard the trunk close before he got in the driver’s seat.
“Whose house are we going to?” he asked as he turned the key in the ignition.
“Doesn’t matter to me. Since you have to work tomorrow and I don’t, we can go to yours. We have to get Gizmo first if I’m staying the night.”
Kyden and I kept clothes and toiletries at each other’s houses, so we would be prepared wherever we stayed.
I also kept things at his house for my cat because I didn’t like leaving him home alone for too long.
I loved that cat so much, and having him showed us how well we could work together when we had a child.
“We’ll stop and get him, then head to my place.
I just got him some new toys.” Kyden smiled.
He spoiled Gizmo, the cat he’d gotten me a while ago, just as much as I did.
I rested my head against the seat as he pulled out of the parking lot.
I closed my eyes, but I wasn’t sleepy. I just thought about how well everything had been going.
Jazz music flowed from the speakers at a low volume, relaxing me more than I already was. Kyden rested his hand on my knee, and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.
Two hours later, Kyden and I were showered and changed into loungewear. Gizmo played on the floor with his new toys while we sat on the couch eating dinner.
While I soaked in the tub, Kyden cooked us cheesesteaks and fries.
“Do you think monogamy is a natural thing, or do you think society and social media is making it more acceptable to have open relationships?” I asked Kyden because of the reality show that played on television.
On the show, the couple was looking for a third party, and I wondered what Kyden thought of it.
He took a swig of his beer, then slightly turned toward me.
“Honestly, monogamy has always been my thing, and that’s how I plan to keep it. That was all I saw growing up. Now, I will say that open relationships could be beneficial to some people, but everyone has to agree with the rules.”
“Hell no.” I practically shouted.
Kyden held his hands up. “Hear me out.”
“I’m listening.” I crossed my arms over my chest.
I lowered the volume on the television because I had to hear his reasoning.
“For one, it has to be rules. Like, being with any and everybody won’t work.
Both parties have to agree on one other person.
It could help if one of them isn’t sexually satisfied.
Or they could try it one time to fulfill a sexual fantasy their partner might not want to do.
It could enhance communication and being honest with each other. ”
“No, sir. If you feel like you need another woman, I’ll leave. I don’t like the idea of it. I’ll get a wig if you want a different look.”
Kyden laughed so loud, it made Gizmo jump and run out of the living room.
He leaned over and kissed my cheek.
“First of all, I’m good with what we have.
If it’s something I want to try, I’m sure you would be open to it.
Like I said, I’m all for monogamy, I’m just giving you reasons why someone else might do it.
I wouldn’t mind you getting a wig, though, to spice things up.
” He wiggled his eyebrows, and I cracked up.
I pushed our tray tables away and straddled his lap. He rested his hands on my waist as I stared into his eyes.
“I can do that, and anything else you want to do. I trust and love you, so I know you won’t do anything to hurt me.” I kissed his lips. I leaned back and bit the tip of my finger. “I think I’ve been a bad girl, officer.”
Kyden raised his eyebrow and gripped my hips. I felt his manhood waking up through his pants.
“Is that right?” He used his finger to trail the skin on the front of my neck. I nodded at his question. “What do you think I should do about it?”
I pretended to think about his question for a second. I held my wrist in front of me.
Kyden’s gaze shot down to my hands, then back into my eyes.
I leaned forward so my mouth was right next to his ear. “I think you should cuff me, officer.”
He squeezed my waist, and I ground my hips.
“Don’t tempt me, Elise.”
“I’m not.”
In one swift motion, Kyden lifted from the couch with me in his arms. He didn’t care about the plates on the table or the television being on as he carried me to the bedroom.
As soon as we made it to the bedroom, he dropped me in the middle of the bed.
I watched as he reached into the table near his bed and pulled out the handcuffs.
“Take your clothes off,” he demanded.
I pulled my shirt and pants off and threw them on the side of the bed. Since we were in for the night, I didn’t have on underclothes.
“What’s next, sheriff?”
He walked over to me and rubbed my hard nipple.
“I want you on all fours.”
I rolled over and arched my back. I made sure my head was comfortable on the pillow because I knew how rough Kyden could be at times. It was enjoyable, so I never complained about it.
I couldn’t see him, but I felt when the bed dipped.
“Hands behind your back.”
Following his command, I put my hands behind me.
Kyden grabbed my wrist and applied the cuffs.
“You good?” he asked as he trailed my spine with his finger, then smacked my ass.
“Yes.”
He used that same finger to touch me, testing to see how wet I was.
“I see you’re ready for me.” He kissed my back, then slid inside of me.
“Shit,” I cried.
He held on to my cuffed hands, and I moaned his name as he fucked me. I couldn’t move my hands, but I wasn’t scared. It felt too good to move anyway.
“Tonight just might be the night we make a baby.” He groaned in my arm.
“I hope so.”
I didn’t know if it would be or not, but regardless of what happened, I would enjoy the practice.
