Page 17 of Not Afraid to Trust Again
I had to be dreaming because there was no way I felt a wet mouth on my dick.
The last thing I remembered was lying in bed with Elise resting on my chest. Some time had passed, and I’d been a little distant because of the increase of phone calls and guilt that came from not being completely honest with her, but we spent yesterday together and reconnected.
“Elise, what are you doing?” My voice was strained as she licked the head of my dick.
I looked down at her massive curls and pushed them away so I could see her face. She looked up at me but didn’t say anything while she deep throated me. I gathered her hair and gripped it in my hand to guide her head up and down.
“Shit.” I didn’t want to stop her because it had been a while since my dick saw any action, except for my hand, and that wasn’t often.
Since she had the miscarriage, we couldn’t have sex, and it was never a thought to get it from anywhere else because I didn’t want it from anyone else, and I didn’t want to hurt her.
Her hands cupped my balls as she continued bobbing on my shit. Our combined moans were the only noise in the room.
“I’m about to cum.” I groaned when I felt a rush through my body. I wanted to give her a warning just in case she didn’t want my nut in her mouth.
She didn’t pay me any mind, because she went harder and faster while my grip tightened in her hair and my toes curled.
“Fuck.” I bit my lip as my nut shot down her throat, and she still didn’t stop sucking.
She had me moaning and damn near squirming because it felt too damn good. After she sucked me dry, she came from the bottom of the bed and put her head on my chest. My dick rested against my thigh.
“Good morning, Ky,” Elise greeted me as she looked into my eyes.
I kissed her nose, then her lips.
“Shit. Good morning to you.” I kissed her again.
She giggled and put her arm over my stomach. “That was my way of saying thank you for last night. I know it has been a while, and I appreciate your patience.”
I closed my eyes because my conscience was eating me up. My phone vibrated on the table, but I ignored it until it rang again. I picked it up just in case it was work, but it wasn’t. It was another blocked call.
“You don’t have to thank me, but I appreciate your efforts.” I smirked. “I would wait forever for you if I had to. You are my soul, baby, and I ain’t going anywhere.”
I had no plans of ever leaving her, but her leaving me was a completely different story.
She smiled at me, then kissed my lips. “I’m not going anywhere either.”
“Good. Now . . .”
I flipped us over so that I was on top of her. My dick had hardened, and I was ready to show her how much I missed her. I could feel the heat from her middle, but I didn’t enter her right away. I needed to be certain she was ready.
“Have you gotten the all clear from your doctor?” I asked as I rubbed the head of my dick between her pussy lips. She was wet already, so either way, I would make her cum before we left this bed.
“I did.” She wrapped her legs around my waist, but I still didn’t move.
“Are you sure you’re ready?”
I continued rubbing my dick in her juices, and she got wetter. Oh, she was ready all right, but I needed verbal confirmation.
“Yes, Kyden. Now, fuck me.”
We moaned simultaneously when I eased my way inside of her. I wasn’t sure if it would hurt her or not, and I didn’t want to find out. I rested for a minute with my head in the crook of her neck.
“Are you going to lay there, or are you going to fuck me?” Elise asked as she pumped her hips.
I lifted my head to look into her eyes. “I see the sassy ass Elise is back.”
“I just had a minor setback.” She smirked.
I kissed her again. “And now you are ready for a major comeback.”
No more words were needed. While I moved my hips in a circle, she scratched my back and moaned my name.
As I made love to her, I thought about us trying again for another baby, but I didn’t know where her head was, and I didn’t want to ruin the moment.
I hoped we could try again one day because I hated to see her sad.
Her eyes used to be so bright and full of light, but now they didn’t shine the same.
I wanted to give her back her light but only when she was ready.
Elise and I ended up taking a nap when we were done the first session. When we woke up, we went another round before getting up and showering. We had a light breakfast and had worked up an appetite, so I took her to the diner for lunch.
“Have you ever thought about getting a pet?” I asked her while we ate our food.
I’ve always heard of pets being good companions and thought that might have been a good idea for her. It was something that she could take care of. Of course, it wouldn’t replace a baby, but maybe it would help fill that void until it was time for us to have a baby again.
“I’ve always wanted a cat but never got around to getting one.”
“Why not a dog?”
I took a bite of my turkey and cheese sandwich.
“Because I don’t want to have to walk a dog, especially after working all day. Cats are simple, and they use the bathroom right in the house.”
I nodded. “You’re right. Dogs are more work. My brother and I had one when we were younger, and our parents used to make us walk it and shit. Is there a particular kind of cat you want?”
She squinted her eyes and tilted her head. “Why are you asking me questions about a cat? Do you plan on buying me one or something?”
I chuckled and wiped my mouth. “I mean, I could if you want one.”
I would buy her every cat that I could find if it brought a smile to her face.
“I can buy my own cat, Kyden,” she teased.
“I didn’t say you can’t. I’m just telling you if you want one, then I will buy you one.”
“Okay.”
We returned to eating our lunch.
“Do you want to walk around a little bit after we are done?”
“Yes, that’s fine.”
It wasn’t too cold, so we could walk around downtown for a little bit to walk off the food and do some shopping if she wanted to. The area was always decorated even if it wasn’t a holiday. Sometimes, I liked to walk around just to enjoy the views and the fresh air.
“Okay. I’ll take care of the check, then we can go.”
“Okay.”
I waved the waitress over to let her know we were ready for the check. While I waited for the check, Elise excused herself to use the restroom. Once I paid the check and went to the bathroom myself, we left the diner.
“It’s not so bad out here,” Elise said as we walked down the street.
I pulled my hat down to cover my ears then grabbed her hand.
“It’s not. Is there a particular store you want to go to?”
“No.”
“Okay. We’ll just walk down—my bad.” My mouth dried when I bumped into someone as we turned the corner.
Shit.
“Kyden?” There was a rise in the person’s pitch. Her eyes darted back and forth between Kanae and me. She didn’t look upset, just surprised.
My thoughts swirled so quickly that I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to ignore everything and pretend I didn’t see her, but I couldn’t do that because she had already said my name, and I was sure Elise wondered who the hell she was and why she looked at us the way she did.
I felt Elise slip her hand out of mine, but I couldn’t move. I was too stunned to do anything. I couldn’t even respond when I heard my name being called again. My ears rang, and I couldn’t decipher who even called me.
“Kyden!”
That time, I knew it was Elise who called me, but I couldn’t address her. My mind went blank like my brain suddenly stopped working.
Could this shit be real?
“Apparently, he’s in a state of shock or something since he suddenly can’t speak,” I heard Elise say, but all I could do was blink my eyes. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what is wrong with him. Who are you?”
I could hear my heart thumping in my chest. I wanted to say something but couldn’t. I wasn’t sure how this was possible. I tried to grab Elise’s hand because I knew in my gut that things were about to get out of hand, but she crossed her arms over her chest.
“I’m Octavia. I’m his wife, but . . .”
