I laugh. “This is new for all of us. When we see how they run, we’ll know what to expect. For right now, we have every Ops Center and Lead position covered by us. We know how we run. If something isn’t working, let me, Raid or Hade know. Amos will be with Web so you have them too.”
He nods looking more relaxed. “Thanks. I’m good with everything. Mike and Pablo have good teams and I have help if I need it.”
I nod. “That goes for everyone, if you get jammed up, call one of us over.”
Roger Bosses hit me and everyone looks settled.
“Trask, get an order for the pizzeria to a Prospect. I want a regular Italian. Just the sandwich. Have it delivered to my meeting room.”
He nods. “On it, Boss.” He turns to the room. “Sustenance, Brothers.”
The whole fucking room starts throwing orders to him.
I shake my head. Fucking Rex. “I’m in my office, let me know when it gets here.”
Jinx yells, “Affirmative!” over all the Brothers looking for food. Fucking Brothers.
~*~*~
I watch Falcon walk through the house like he owns it. The fucking Brother makes me smile. I’d think his audio isn’t working but he was just talking to me outside. The door in front of him opens and his arm goes up. His target turns fast, the woman on the bed screams. Blue flashes and the woman is now convulsing on the bed. The target, a Six-Gun Enforcer, yells giving Falcon a look, like that will intimidate him into dropping his gun.
“Badass says you’re done.” One shot and he’s turning around walking out the door. “Clear, Boss.”
“I like that one.” I look for Brinks body cam. He’s riding the outer city to the owner of a garage full of wackos.
Falcon laughs. “It’s true.”
“That it is, Brother. Your last target is on your board.”
“Roger.”
My new best friend, Anton, hits my leg pointing at the screen. “Brinks, you have four with the target. I’ve got confirmation on all through recognition.”
“Roger, Boss.”
These maniacal mechanics were one of the reasons Jordan called Major for help. They hit the Clubs garage wrecking the place and beating the shit out of Jordan’s mechanics. Deacon agreed to buy parts from him that the mechanic got from Six-Guns, which, of course, were all stolen. Jordan had a supplier so he wasn’t interested. I guess the pussy thought he’d change Jordan’s mind.
I check out Jordan’s Enforcer board and see he’s clear. We split Phoenix teams so two from each Club work together. It’s worked well. He cleared a boarding house that was taken over by Carlson’s goons and a strip Club owner that thought he was untouchable because he was working with Carlson and had goon squad backup.
“Brinks, you’re two out.” Shit, Falcon is close.
“Roger.”
I hit the city Op center open mic. “Jordan, Falcon is five out. Take Control for him. I’ve got Brinks with five including the target. I’ll pick him up when Brinks is clear.”
Jordan looks at his screen then ours. “Got him, Cort.” He gets his IT to switch Falcon.
“Falcon, Control is with Jordan until Brinks clears.”
He laughs. “Roger. Your mic threw to me too.”
“Huh. I’ll have Anton drop you for now.” I look at my little albino and he shrugs while typing.
“Done.” He never looks at me, his eyes stay on the screens.
Brinks pulls in and sends two around the back with hand signals. I see him walk through the garage door on the security feed. One of Jordan’s Enforcers, Tommy, is with him. They really need suits.
Brinks turns facing the target. The pussy looks unsure. “You one of Deacon’s?”
