Page 58 of Master's Rise
My head falls forward but I’m smiling. On my knees I’ll be. It’s a guarantee that before the night is over, I’ll be on my knees. Grabbing whiskey, I follow like a pet monkey.
We walk into a roar of indistinguishable words. I’m not even all the way in and Freedom, Victory and some chick I don’t know have Seren moving the other way. Raid, Falcon, Hade, Brinks, Jinx, Amos and Banks surround me, driving me to the bar as if I’m cattle.
I thank Hade and Falcon with a hug each. “You made today happen, Brothers. A drink for your skill and hard work.”
“No!” Raid has me turning to see what the hell is wrong with him.
“Hade covered Major, took Deacon. They rode like fucking warriors on a hunt.”
He’s shaking his head. “And they should have. Countless fucking Brothers from every fucking where put their ass on the line for us. Us. Not you, not Badass but us. They just don’t know it. We’re all happy it turned out good, but we’re not celebrating fucking Clubs fixingourmistake.”
He’s learned. I smile. “Okay then. What are we drinking to?”
He elbows me. “You, you fucking dick.” He turns raising a shot glass while Hade trades me the bottle for a glass. “To Pres!”
Everyone yells making me smile. It’s weird to raise a glass to yourself, so I just drink it.
“You claimed her and didn’t tell me.” Raid has regret in his eyes. He’s thinking it was punishment?
“Jinx was my partner today. I never saw the office again and I was telling everyone tomorrow morning at the meet. It was a fucking busy day for me.”
“Oh, yeah. Well, now we know.”
I laugh at the ass.
Whistling and catcalls has us looking toward the door. A path clears and my fucking heart stops while my dick grows. On my fucking knees.
“Fucking shit!” Jinx says and spins toward the bar.
The path gets wider and every Brother is quiet. Seren is in a leather corset under her cut and leather pants that look better than the leggings and just as tight. Red kickass heels are making my dick pulse with each step. Her hair is glowing under the light and her smile is knowing.
I drop to my knees figuring it will be easier to just start out this way. The Brothers laugh but my eyes never leave hers. When she’s close, I put out my hand. “From the minute I saw you, you owned me. I wish I knew it then, I would have bought knee pads from you.”
She laughs. The Brothers laugh. While they’re busy, I reach in my pocket and pull out a box. “Since being on my knees is inevitable and written into my future, will you make that with our names matching?” I open the box and tears fall while she’s smiling.
“Yes - If it doesn’t come with a wedding that I don’t want, cleansings, crystals and flower power.”
Now I’m laughing. Women are crazy. I slide the ring on her finger. “I promise no wedding, flower power and whatever else you said. We do have a party and I need you to sign to change your name.”
A killer smile shows. “Okay. Now get up so I can kiss you.”
Jesus, I never expected this to be public or hilarious. My ol’lady jumps on me while the Brothers are laughing and Raid gets everyone drinking.
“You’re fucking crazy, little Kram. I love you.”
She hugs me tighter then kisses me senseless. I wish it lasted longer.
“Ladies! We have a first dance for our Pres taking his ol’ lady, Seren Masters. I get to pick the song and I know he’ll love this one. Come on up and show her how that’s done!” Raid is smiling away.
“Oh fuck!” I’m going to fucking kill him.
Seren slides down me and her eyes shine. I’m hard as a rock and she is enjoying this. “This will be fun.” She giggles walking to the circle the Brothers made swinging her ass the whole way.
I grab a stool and sit. I should have stayed on my knees.
The beat comes in loud and I’m already groaning. “I’m fucking killing you for this, Raid. I need a drink.”
Hade hands me the bottle and I drink. It isn’t going to hit me fast enough.Pour Some Sugar on Meis blaring through the Club and Seren’s eyes are on me as those fucking hips start moving.
