"That's the big trainer you saw," I explain. Seren moves closer and I put my arm out.
She walks to me and smiles at Jordan. He's still staring at her. "You must be Jordan. I'm glad you got Badass back in the city. Cities need all the help they can get with the world going crazy lately."
He nods. She looks up at me with that little smile I love. "I'm training the Security class with Freedom then doing the bike training. I may even get to ride today." She's excited and I know she’s trying to hold it in.
Major and Raid laugh, Freedom watches with amusement in her eyes. "She's got the albinos wrapped. Don't let her near Ops or IT. The Prospects are jumping every time she opens her mouth too."
I look at my little Kram and get a squeeze. I love that. "It was the cookies. Let me know when you're free to eat. I know I'm not getting away with breakfast twice in one day. We need a steak house here."
They laugh. I kiss my girl's head. "Call if you need me, Kram." I look at Freedom. "Mounty is on the floor?"
"Yeah, Boss. Good handle. We're watching for reaction. Falcon is there too."
"Thanks. Call if you need me."
I get a nod and they walk back toward the elevator.
"Reaction?" Major asks. Jordan still hasn't said a word.
"Yeah, Brothers don't know how to react to Seren. With two women on the floor, they'll see how that goes."
"There are Badass affiliates that have women as Officers and even a few Enforcers. I'm glad you're not limiting yourself here." Major surprises the fuck out of me.
"You are?" Apparently, Jordan too. I’m glad he found his voice.
"Krav Maga is used by the ISD, Israeli Defense Force. Taught to Special Forces in the US as a way to keep their teams alive. It's not something to take lightly. If the women know it and one is a black belt, I want her teaching my Enforcers and Security. Do you have anyone else ranked that high to train?" he asks me.
"No. Falcon, Brinks, Mounty and Hade trained but aren't ranked at all. Right now, Seren is the closest at level four."
Major likes that. I do too.
"Upstairs is more Brothers sections. The older Brothers have bigger single rooms but the same setups here. HR is up there, but we have to go down and through a secure access check point. We have pop ups and the simulator here but they run a little different. Mounty and Hade got us new Ops to run through. When we do more of our own, Web will program them in."
Major laughs. "I was impressed seeing the sea of bikes. Jordan, I need to meet a Mason that could be helpful to the Sheriff situation."
He nods. "Your ol' lady's father."
"Yeah. I don't know the guy and can't ask her to come for an intro. We need the Sheriff gone but she doesn't need all that goes with it."
Raid moves reminding me he's here. "I'll get a team out front. Major, you riding?"
“Yeah, Brother. The chopper is a little conspicuous to take around town.”
Raid smiles. “I like that word. Conspicuous. I’ll give it to Rex.”
I crack up walking down the stairs. “Jordan, you want back in Ops or Training?”
“Security if I can. I’d like to see how the building is protected.” He’s such a geek.
“Did Web tell you about the thumb in thing? He’s got it on our offices and the armory.”
He looks back at Raid. “Ops.”
“Get him a card so he can move through Security, Ops and Training. The cafeteria is on the first floor if you get hungry. Prospects are everywhere or use the app, they’ll deliver to all common rooms but nothing in Ops.”
He looks surprised. “Prospects are on an app?”
I shake my head. “Fucking Web has everything on the phones. I can watch Ops and Security from everywhere.”
