It was probably the early hours of the morning if his estimation was right, and even though he wouldn’t mind if Malek woke up, because, well, he wanted to spend as much time getting to know the man, and well, perhaps they could have sex again.

Axel moved and winced, okay, maybe not right this second, but he didn’t even care. This was everything he’d dreamt about the moment he’d realised he liked boys and not girls.

A prince of his own. Who knew he would also get the big bad wolf…? Well, the wolf part anyway.

He hoped he could tell Rowan, because his brother so wouldn’t believe it, but he also knew he would be happy for Axel. He couldn’t help but wonder how much he could tell his family.

Axel tried to move, maybe find his phone, but even in his sleep, Malek's arms tightened around him, pulling him tighter against his hard male body, and contentment like he’d never known possible filled his soul.

Had he ever felt this good?

He didn’t think he’d been this relaxed in ages. Maybe ever.

Axel was about to nod off again when he heard pounding on a door, and then a doorbell ringing.

Malek woke up immediately and growled.

“Go away,” He yelled, Axel didn’t think it was loud enough for the people at the door to hear, but they did, because the banging stopped.

Then he heard a voice call out, “We gave you a whole night, now everyone wants to meet your mate.”

Malek buried his head in Axel’s neck, and groaned, before lifting his head up to look Axel in the eye, “Ready to meet the in-laws?”

His brother Malachi’s banging on his door had woken him up, and his first thought before realising who was there, was to protect his mate.

Then Malek realised it was his brother and they were in their home, and Axel was safe.

They got in the shower together, and Malek was thankful that his home had been recently renovated. He’d installed the tankless water heater, or they would have run out of hot water after a while.

As they both got dressed, Axel said, “In-laws, huh?”

Malek glanced over at his mate, standing holding the backpack Malek had fetched upstairs from where he’d left it after he’d brought Axel home the day before.

“Isn’t that what they’re called?”

“Yeah,” Axel smiled, “But I havein-laws. That’s just unexpected I guess.”

Malek smiled, “Well, you’ll meet all of them, and my parents too but they’re not around at the moment. They’re visiting our resorts in… actually they’ve been visiting different resorts we own, as well as family. But they should be back soon.”

“You own a resort?” Axel asked.

“Among other things,” Malek nodded. He quickly put on some sweats and a t-shirt as the forecast said sunny.

His mate put some jeans on and a t-shirt and met his gaze. Malek didn’t mind Axel catching him staring at him. He was and would always be the best thing to look at in any room they were in together.

Axel looked away and asked in a hesitant voice, “Will they like me?”

Malek walked over to his mate quickly, and pulled his angel into his arms, hugging him tightly.

“They will love you,” Malek reassured Axel.

His mate didn’t know how precious mates were in their world. He would bet his family was all gathered at his parents’ home—even if they weren’t there—and would be ready to welcome Axel.

Axel stepped back and put his shoes on, and then ran his hand through his blond hair.
