Malek thrust faster into Axel, loving the moans of pleasure coming from his mate.

Axel’s back arched as, for the first time in his life, Malek felt his knot inflate. His mate’s moans growing louder as his knot stretched Axel’s hole.

“Goddess, you feel so fucking good, angel. I don’t think I’ll be able to last.” Malek’s voice came out deep and growly, his beast and his man ready to claim their mate. Between the sounds Axel was making, the feel of his mate, and his scent, Malek was close to the edge, and his knot made it even more difficult to thrust in and out.

He looked down at his mate, “Are you sure, angel?” he asked, his canines extending towards Axel’s neck.

“Yes, Malek. Please, make me yours.”

His eyes met Axel’s and glowed as he sank his teeth into his mate's neck where it met his shoulder. As he claimed his mate, Axel’s hole clamped down on his cock, and his mate let out a cry as he shot cum between them. Malek growled, pushing into Axel’s body one more time, his seed pouring into his mate’s body.

When he finally got his wolf under control, Malek licked his mate’s bite clean, and that was when he realised that Axel had fallen asleep, or had maybe passed out after his orgasm.

They were locked together for however long his knot lasted, and Malek didn’t want to wake his mate up, so he manoeuvred them until he was beneath and Axel on top.

His knot pulled a couple of times, making his mate moan and move, which in turn had his cock spurting even more into his mate.

Malek wrapped his hands around Axel while they were still knotted, and drifted off to sleep, feeling more content that he ever had before. He couldn’t recall ever being happier and this was just the beginning.

Malek didn’t exactly know how it worked, but he knew between the claiming bite and his cum, it would change something in Axel’s biology that made it possible for them to have their own children.

His last thought before drifting off was that in the next four months, which was the gestation period for wolves, he and Axel could be parents.

Axel

Axel watched Malek sleep. He still couldn’t quite believe this wasn’t some elaborate dream. He’d pinched himself a few times since he’d woken up in Malek’s arms, but nope, he was still awake.

His fingers itched to run through the curly mane on his mate’s head. Fuck, he had a mate.

That was a real thing… and he had one.

And he could have babies.

He could actually have babies.

Axel knew men having babies wasn’t something that the human world accepted easily, but he didn’t care.

It was so crazy that he was using terms like the human world, but he felt like he was separate from it now. And even though he didn’t know what it meant for seeing his family, he also knew that Malek would do everything possible to make it happen.

He’d always wanted children, and Axel had always figured that if he ever ended up married, he and his husband would go with surrogacy or adoption.

But this, this was way more than he’d ever dreamed of, and he was terrified of what it meant, and how it worked. He didn’t have the parts for it, but this faith that he never thought he could have any one person, but a faith so complete it should have scared him, that was the kind of faith he had in Malek.

Because, now even as the man slept, he could feel his utter contentment.

When people wished to know what their partners were feeling, Axel had that, and, well, he was overwhelmed with gratitude. He couldn't read Malek's mind. It was more a feeling that if he felt it, he would know what it was.

There was this part of Axel that didn’t feel like this was real life right now, but the bruises on his arms told him it was.

Because, it was, and here he was, with a man he could never have even dreamed of, even if he tried.

Who would have thought running away would lead to the best day of his life?

This was a dream he didn’t even know he had, come true.

Axel so wanted to trace his fingers over Malek’s face, a reminder that he was real, but he also didn’t want to wake him up. They'd gone at it a few times and had got very little sleep, but he’d got more than his mate.
