I was trying to sleep but the sleep was far away. I sighed rolling on the bed.

Wedding celebrations are going to start from tomorrow beginning with Haldi.

I tried to close my eyes but everytime all I see is Ruvit!!

How fast this week ended. All the feelings and butterflies Ruvit made me feel!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh..

The First time I met him is something unforgettable. And I'm very much Thankful to God for that day.

I spread my hands and legs on the bed while drowning into our Childhood Memories.

I was just roaming here and there in the corridor when I bumped into a boy.

We didn't fall or got hurt anywhere.

I looked up to see him but He was already staring at me like He saw any Goddess!

"Meri kitabon mein mehekte huye Gulaab si yaad ho tum, Meri Tanhaayi ke andhere aasman ka Chand ho tum" He said.

(You are my memory like a fragrant rose in my books, you are the moon in the dark sky of my loneliness.)

He was staring at me while blinking continuously. "What?" Is he going to propose me??

OMG!! Even though I don't know him but he is Handsome So I'm definitely going to say Ye-

"Uhmm...Sorry! I was randomly saying all that.." Waitttt- What?? He left without saying anything further. Atleast He should wait for my reaction!

He was way too much nervous. What he was thinking even? I'm not a Ghost or Something that he was sweating so much Dude.

I scoffed to myself, "Weirdo!"

"Do you know we are having a new student?" Nandini asserted. Nandini Malhotra, my Bestie since 1st Class and Now we are in 10th.

Today is our first day as 10th graders and were chatting randomly in the class when she came up with this topic.

"Maybe a bad boy" I shrugged at her.

"C'mon not all the Boys are same Aru." Aru! It's my nickname given by her.

"I know. Not all the Boys are Same but Eventually They will make us feel like that they are no different." She narrowed her eyes on my Statement.

What? I only like BTS, My Fictional Boyfriends and some Korean, Chinese or Thai Actors. They are the Total Standards. The Boy I met in corridor is an Exception. Hehe

"Attention Everyone! We have a New Student. I hope you all become good friends" Said the Teacher.

She turned towards the door and I followed her gaze.

WHAT?? No way!!

He is the same guy I met in corridor... Is he going to be in same section as mine???

"Hii..Myself Ruvit" So his name is Ruvit? Well Unique as him! Am I drooling? Uff Aridhi Agarwal get back at your senses.

"Ruvit, you can sit with Dhruv at the Last second Bench of 3rd row." Ruvit made it's way towards Dhruv.

"Dhruv was enough Handsome to make girls fall for him and now this Ruvit" ... "He surely is hot" I heard some girls speaking.

My gaze went upon Nandini who was red and I know the Reason very well. "Gurl, Don't blush too hard" I teased.

"It's all because of your Jiju. Ask him to not flirt with me in between classes" (Jiju: Brother-in-law).

I smiled while looking back at Dhruv. It's been a month since Nandini and Dhruv started dating.

Not gonna lie but he surely is treating her very well. As long as she is happy, I don't have any problem.

"Baby!! Listen to me atleast" I heard Dhruv saying this to Nandini who was not looking Normal.

"It's Paining Dhruv!!" Brother-in-law needs to understand that Nandini can be anything but normal on her Periods. Lol!

When both were busy in their own world, my eyes went up to the person sitting alone on a bench...Yes! Him! Ruvit!

I don't know how to say this but I wanna talk to him about today's morning but don't know how should I start!? I will make fun of myself.

"Hey Saali-sa" (Saali: Sister-in-law). I looked behind to see Dhruv and Nandini holding hands.

Interesting! He knows how to Comfort her.

I hummed at him when He gestured me to follow him. I did and soon I realised that We were walking towards Ruvit!!!

Ruvit was already looking in our direction. Specially Mine! His gaze.. I can feel my cheeks getting heat up.

"Ruvit!! Meet my girlfriend Nandini" Nandini bid him a Hello but he simply noded.

"And this is my mischievous sister-in-law who is no less than my own sister, Aridhi!"

Should I say Hello? Oh God!! I'm dieing out of embarrassment.

"Hii.. Aridhi!" I was surprised for a moment but maintained my composure.

His voice!!! Ahh!! So Angelic. I can't believe He is the same person I met in Morning.

At that time, I didn't heard his voice clearly as I was lost in his Beauty.

"A-Aridhi?" I came out from my Delulu world when I heard Nandini calling out my name. Oh yeah He said Hii to me

"Yeah..Hello Ruvit!" I smiled.

"Already in Love?" I heard Dhruv whispering to me while smirking.

What Love!? It's Nothing like that!! Huh.. I will never fall in Love.

"Never Ever" I said firmly.

I never thought about falling for someone but Ruvit is making me fall for him again and again.

I have realised that Ruvit is different, Just like I wanted.

I squeezed a pillow tightly to vent out my excitement when my phone rang.

I picked it up as the caller ID showed Matashree!

"Yo Matashree!" I bid.

"Hey Bhagwan!! Yh Ladki. Isko fursat hi kaha apni Maa se bhi kabhi baat karne ki" I can feel Maa facepalming to herself.

(Oh God!! This girl. She don't even spare some time to talk with her mother)

"Sorry!" I said.

"What Sorry!? You didn't even told me that you came back from USA" She scolded.

"Actually Mumma, Everything happened in such a short period of time that I forgot to inform!" I expressed.

"Okey Leave it. You know I can't be angry with my Adhu!" She said.

She is the only one in my whole family who calls me Adhu.

"I called you to tell you that.. I have fixed your marriage."

WHAT!?

"Mumma!!!! I told you na I don't want to get married."

"But that guy is perfect Adhu. I'm sure you will like him!"

"Mummy yaar!!!"

"Kya Yaar!? Tu usko phle se janti hain aur vo vahi Delhi mein rehta hain. Bada hi Pyara aur Sanskari Ladka hain!"

(What!? You already know him and he lives there in Delhi. He is a very sweet and cultured boy!)

"What's his name!?" I asked.

"Arey sunti ho" I heard Papa's voice in background.

"We will talk about this matter tomorrow!" She said as she cut off the call.

Now when I have realised my feelings for Ruvit, She fixed my marriage!?

Whole Hotel was beautifully decorated with Yellow Theme as for Haldi.

I saw Ridhima and Manish Bhaiya with a look of excitement. Also, Their Hashtag Maan is as pretty as them.

I was all ready too.

"Aridhi!" I heard Narmada Aunty calling me.

"Ji Aunty" I walked towards her and she gestured me to apply Haldi on couple's face.

I smiled at them as I dipped my hand in the plate and took a little amount of Haldi.

I applied Haldi on Manish Bhaiya's cheeks and congratulated him.

I again dipped my hand in the plate taking a generous amount of haldi.

"Aridhi-" Ridhima said in warning as I grinned at her. She shook her head which I ignored.

"Ready ho ja Jiju ke rang mein rangne ke liye!" I teased her and pressed my hands on her cheek spreading the haldi all over her face.

(Get ready to colour yourself in Brother-in-law's colour!)

I giggled at her reaction and sounds of displeasure. A few of the guests and youngsters laughed looking at us.

I walked off the stage to see Ruvit next. He was wearing a Yellow Kurta.

He rolled his sleeves up, revealing his perfectly veiny hands.

He applied Haldi on Manish Bhaiya's face, not leaving any space. He was about to walk towards Ridhima but paused.

"Uhm- Can you bring me some thin long leaves?" Ruvit asked from one of the helpers.

He nodded at him and went away to take the leaves.

"Why leaves when you can do it with your hand?" Ridhima asked.

"Actually I swore to God that I am not going to touch any girl except My Ardhangini, Even if it's appropriate" Ruvit replied.

But he touched me many times Dude!!!!!!

What should I take it as!?

"Parvarish ho to aesi!" One random aunty commented. I could see Proud face of Ritu aunty. (Upbringing should be like this!)

In meantime, The helper brought the leaves and gave it to Ruvit.

Ruvit then applied Haldi on Ridhima's cheeks with the coated leaves of Haldi.

The laughter and giggles were heard when everyone bathed the couple with Haldi.

And Like this, their marriage moved one step ahead.

We decided to keep the next day for Mehandi instead of the following same day.

We want no hustle bustle. Everything should just go Perfectly even if it takes time.

I walked through the Corridor to make my way towards my room.

I want to change this Lehanga!!

I was busy in my own thoughts until My eyes met with his. I paused on my steps to see him moving towards my direction only.

For a moment I felt that Everything in my surroundings is useless if this man isn't in my destiny.

He stopped right infront of me.

I was looking at him when I noticed some Haldi was there on his left cheek.

I took the hem of My Dupatta as I was about to clean his face.

But before I could do, My eyes widened when Ruvit grabbed my waist from the back.

My grip on Dupatta loosened as Ruvit pulled me towards him in such a way that my right cheek touched his left cheek.

I felt Haldi on my cheek due to this contact.

He let me go and once again our eyes were locked together.

"Kis qadar khubsurat hoti hain wo ankhein jo kisi ki taraf pyar se uthein aur ethraam se jhuk jaye!" I said while smiling.

(How beautiful are those eyes which look up towards someone with love and bow down with respect!)

"Is that for me?" Ruvit asked on which I slightly nodded and said,"I saw this in your Eyes when they are on me."

"Il faut que vous soyez fier de vous, la personne qu'on aime ne peut pas être ordinaire!" Ruvit smiled back.

(It is compulsory for you to be proud of yourself, the person I love cannot be ordinary!)

"What?" I questioned. I told him earlier too that I don't know French but still He!!

"I don't know!" Ruvit grinned widely.

I narrowed my eyes on which he chuckled.

"Vaise yaad dilaun to Aapko Mere Naam ki Haldi lag chuki hain Madam!" Ruvit whispered near my ear and I blushed hard.

(By the way if I remind you, you have already applied Haldi of my name Madam!)

He was standing very close to me while folding his arms near his chest.

"In Buttons ko band nhi rakh sakte kya!?" I pulled the collar of his Kurta.

(Can't you keep this buttoned up!?)

"Gusse mein Cute lagti hain aap Jaan!" He said and I slapped his cheek lightly.

(You Look Cute when you are angry!)

"Should I remove this Haldi or not?" I thought to myself, while standing infront of the mirror which is in my room.

I don't want to remove it but I have to.

I touched my cheek and suddenly a particular line of his hit my mind.

'Aapko Mere Naam ki Haldi lag chuki hain Madam!'

(You have applied Haldi of my name Madam!)

"Shadi bhi ho jayegi!!!!" I giggled to myself.

(Marriage will also happen!!!!)
