Page 95 of Made For The Alien Warrior
And if he stopped breathing… Tiegan was glad Sim-pony had the means to take care of herself.
Thirty-Six
Symphony
“So…you and the alien are like…getting it on?” Adhi made a hand gesture that caused Symphony to duck her head in embarrassment. The slender woman sidled up to her, brown eyes glistening. “Is it, like, normal?
“What do you mean ‘normal’?” she whispered, hoping that Tiegan wasn’t hearing any of this. He was walking slightly ahead of them. His eyes were alert and darted back and forth. It was clear he didn’t trust the route and wanted to meet up with the others as soon as possible.
“You know.” Adhi bumped into her shoulder. “What is he working with? Is it like a regular man or… I mean, is itmore.”
“Could you be quiet? Tiegan’s going to hear you.”
“I’m so curious.”
“I told you to forget what you saw,” Symphony mumbled, digging her teeth into her bottom lip. It was horrifying enough to know that Adhi had caught her with her pants down. Literally. But did she have to press for more details?
“I’m sorry. This is all so weird.”
“What’s weird?”
“You’re hooking up with an alien.”
“It’s weird for me but not for Sara, Kia, Emma and Simone?” She arched an eyebrow.
“Those women act like they’vealwaysbeen up here. You got beamed up to this planet with me, so it feels different.” She gestured with her hands. “It’s like my little sister is dating a guy from a motorcycle gang.”
She snorted.
“I have one more question.”
Symphony groaned. “What?”
“During the… you know… does he use the tail—”
Symphony hurried away from Adhi and caught up to Tiegan. “How much longer until we get to the meeting point?”
“What is the matter? Do you not wish to answer Adhi’s inquiries?” Tiegan’s lips tugged up in a small smirk.
Her eyes widened. “You heard us?”
“Plutonian hearing is inferior to none.”
Her stomach quivered with horror. “I don’t know anything about that.”
“Mating?”
“Talking about it.”
“Are you curious?”
“About?” She tilted her head.
“Whether I will use my tail.”
Her heart slapped against her ribs. “What?”
Tiegan stopped walking and winked at her. “The tail is involved.”
