It did work.

It worked so well that her toes curled, her body jerked and her mouth opened in a scream so loud that it probably woke the entire planet. Her nails scraped, her mouth opened to receive and she knew what it was to see stars.

Being with Tiegan was like coming home and the more he filled her, the less painful it became until she was flying into pleasure.

When he was done, Tiegan cuddled her close and slid his tail up and down her back. The very instrument that had been used to invade her was now providing comfort.

She chuckled and kissed him hard.

“What was that for?” he whispered, his eyelids heavy.

“For being my mate.” She kissed his nose. “From now on, my arm and I will protect you.”

He made a sound deep in his throat. “I will protect you more.”

And she knew that he would.

With his life.

Just as she would protect him with hers.

Tiegan

Sim-pony held tightlyto his hand as they met the others for a breaking of the meal. He had mated her countless times the night before and felt a bit of concern at her shuffling stride.

Perhaps he had not been as gentle as he attempted to be.

The female body was so fragile and so, so sweet. He could not believe how wild he had become once he got a taste of his mate’s heat.

Sim-pony was everything he had ever wanted and he had not been able to stop filling her with his seed. Her ability to endure had gotten better so, by the dawn, she was much rowdier than he had expected.

His back and shoulders were still stinging from the way her blunt teeth and nails had dug into him while she enjoyed his heat. The fact that his lips were swollen was something he wished not to explain to anyone.

In fact, he did not even mind that he smelled like her heat. Tiegan wanted everyone in the camp to know that he had officially mated. One whiff of him and there was no need for words.

Sim-pony ducked her head as all the females cooed at her.

“Ooh, someone is glowing.”

“Did anyone hear howling last night? I didn’t know this planet had wolves.”

“I can guess why Tiegan’s grinning from ear to ear. Can you?”

Their excited chatter made Sim-pony shuffle nervously and he stepped in to end their teasing. “Females, if you have any questions, you may direct them at me.”

“That isn’t any fun.” Sah-ah pushed him away and scrambled to hook her arm in Sim-pony’s. “Come over here, girl. We want all the sordid details.”

She threw him a helpless look.

Tiegan smirked. Despite her nerves, he could sense her emotions in his head. They were happy. Almost gleeful. She did not mind spending time with her comrades and discussing his prowess. Indeed, she had much to talk about.

Korben slapped him on the back when he joined the others. “You were loud.”

“She was untouched. Being her first drove me a little crazy.”

Zar handed him a plate. “Si-Moon wishes to know when I will fill our dwelling with flora and play human music while I mate her.” His scowl deepened. “You have ruined it for us.”
