Story: Liberate Us
Both ofthem nodded.
“Get yourgirl, Sam,” Cyrus said. “We got this.”
Not waitingfor Will, or Price, or the other two fuckers to say anything, all of us stalkedtoward them.
Will held aswitchblade in his hand, which only pulled a laugh from my lips.
“Bringing aknife to a gun fight, is not the brightest move on your part, buddy.” I leanedmy head from left to right, a hard crack rippling down the length of my spineat the impact.
The guysrushed past me, forcing Will and the others back. While they did that, I wasable to enter the room that I could only assume held Amber and her mom. But Iwasn’t prepared for the sight that lay before me. Amber was lying on theground, her eyes closed. A bundled heap was beside her. It was still andunmoving.
“Red.” Irushed to her.
She liftedher head, her eyes landing on me. “Sam,” she cried.
“Fuckinghell, you’re okay, baby.” I fell to my knees in front of her, giving her aonce-over, making sure that she was in fact okay.
Her chinwobbled, tears dripping down her cheeks. “My mom...”
“I’msorry.” I took off my leather cut and wrapped it around her shoulders.
She huggedit closed, bringing the collar up to her nose and taking a deep inhale.
“Let’s getyou out of here.” I helped her to her feet.
She wincedat the movement.
“What isit?” I asked, concern for her well-being twisting at my gut.
“He cut myinner thigh. I passed out after he left and then woke up and put my leggingsback on. He came back in here and threatened to do more but he only wanted towatch me cower. He wants me scared of him. But he...he cut me, Sam. They heldme down while he carved something into my thigh.” She held onto me and lookeddown at herself.
I was goingto kill him. I was going to rip his head from his scrawny neck and piss downhis throat. Amber was wearing black leggings and I couldn’t see any of thedamage Will had caused, but I would get her checked out once we got out ofhere. “Let’s go. I’ll get you looked at and make sure that you and our babiesare okay.”
She nodded.“Sam…I...”
“I know.” Iwrapped my arm around her shoulders and led her to the door. Opening it slowly,I saw two prospects who belonged to Tiny’s Chapter standing back, waiting forinstructions. “I need you both to grab Amber’s mom.” I nodded toward herunmoving body on the floor. “She’s gone but you need to be gentle and show herrespect.”
“On it,”they both said at the same time, entering the room and doing as they were told.
Once Amberand I were out of the room, that’s when I heard the commotion. Fists wereflying, gunshots rang out, and more bodies fell. Death permeated in the air,and I had a feeling I would be consoling Amber for the rest of our lives. Shedidn’t deserve this shit. None of us did.
Every timea shot went off, Amber jumped in my arms. I needed to get her out of here, butI also needed to help my brothers at the same time.
Everythingnext happened quickly. It was like it came right out of an action movie.Carnage and mayhem lay before us as the guys who were still under Will’s thumb, were killed off one by one.
Even thoughWill’s men were now taken care of, there was no sign of him, Jaron, or Price.
“Where’sJaron?” I asked Cyrus.
He wipedhis mouth with the end of his shirt, licking his tongue along his split lip.“Fucker got me with a ring.” He scowled. “Jaron is…” He looked around the room.“I don’t know where he is.”
My stomachdid a flip. “We have to find him.”
If wedidn’t, there would be no way we could go home to face his parents and Piper. We might as well all be dead in that case.

“I’ve been waiting forthis moment,” I sneered, looking directly at the man who had taken me from my fiancée and daughter.
