Page 35 of We The Depraved
“We’re on the way, Artur’s driving like a bat out of hell.”
Rolling my eyes, I head back inside. “Well at least bring food.”
“Like?”
“Bring groceries and something for a chilli,” I tell him. “All I have here was a frozen package of ground beef.”
“On it brother, see you shortly.”
Entering back into the living room, Sage avoids my eyes. She’s already put back on her clothing.
“I need to get back,” she tells me.
“Kitten, even if it means I have to chain you to the floor…you’re not leaving here.”
Her eyes snap up and she meets mine. “What?”
“Sage,” I step in closer. “You’re staying here for the time being.”
“I’m not and you can’t make me…”
Her words hang in the air.
“Kitten, I can make you do so many things. I am going to make you do so many things and it would be best if you would take it easy on yourself. Just do this one thing.”
She looks around wildly, probably looking for another glass to throw. There’s nothing in sight and just when I think she’s about to blow her top, she gives me an uneasy smile.
“Can I at least have my cellphone back?”
“In due time,” I reply. “For now, I have it somewhere safe.”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” The wild look reenters her eyes. “What am I supposed to do here?”
“Stay sober,” I offer. “You can explore the ranch. There’s horses in the barn.”
“Are we going to talk about us fucking?” Are the next words out of her mouth, she looks madder than hell.
It doesn’t have much of an effect on me.
“No,” I reply. “We’ll be doing a lot of that anyway. No need to kill the magic so soon.”
With that I turn and leave heading for my kitchen. Behind me Sage murmurs something about me sleeping with one eye open.
My thoughts are now on my Dutch-oven. Somewhere, buried among the pots and pans its hiding. My mouth is already watering at the thought of making hot food. I can’t wait to watch Sage eat again.
It makes my dick hard to think about her devouring something that I’ve made for her. If we’re being honest, I’m having a hard time not marching back in there to claim her up against another piece of furniture.
Maybe a wall this time, where I would force her to wrap her legs around my waist as I drive into her over and over again.
Sage could live in my thoughts if I don’t get a handle on them.
CHAPTER12
Sage
Ifeel him touching my face, his hands are warm against my cheek. Slowly, I blink and open my eyes to find his green ones starring into my face. Slapping his hand away, he shoves food in my face. That’s when I realize we aren’t alone. There are other men in the room. They all look similar and I know it’s the eyes.
Green eyes in different shades.
