Chapter Forty-Two
Tobias
Theo and I show up at The Butterfly around eight.
It’s packed with the regulars and a ton of other people I don’t know but who are having a great time.
I’ve never seen the place so full before.
There are black and silver streamers hanging from the ceiling, and plastic tablecloths in the same colors on the tables.
Patrons are wearing hats and headbands supporting the New Year.
Pete is behind the bar, and Emmet is all cozy in the corner with some guy I’ve never seen before.
Guessing it’s the one who got away , or whatever Luca said about him.
They look amazing together. Like two models.
“You made it!” Luca runs over, arms wide.
“We made it,” I say, hanging up mine and Theo’s coats.
“Nathanial said you weren’t going to come.” He hooks one arm in mine and the other in Theo’s, leading us to the bar. “Pete, get these boys a drink!”
“Well, hey, Tobias,” Pete says, grabbing glasses. “What can I get you? ”
“Whiskey sour?” I ask Theo.
“Perfect.”
Nathanial is up on stage singing his heart out, but there are so many people here I can hardly see him. People dance on the floor while others fill the tables and the bar stools.
There were three ways for us to spend the New Year.
Here, at the bar. With Charlie, because I did tell Theo about that, to which he laughed.
And the third option was home, just us and Biscuit.
We decided Charlie’s was a no and that we’d come here for a bit because it’s been a while and something to do that will be fun.
When we have our drinks, Luca leads us to the table where all my friends are, along with two others I don’t know.
“Theo and Tobias, this is Greyson and Johnny,” Luca announces.
We wave when he lets go of our arms, and we take a seat at the end.
The booth is full with everyone sitting, but Luca leaves and returns with two chairs.
“Tobias has been coming around for a while, but Theo is relatively new. He’s cool though. ”
“Thanks, Luca,” Theo says with a smile. Luca winks in response.
“And we met Benton at yoga,” Greyson comments.
He’s a big guy. I can tell even from him sitting he’s got to be at least 6’4”.
His hair is dark, both on his head and his face.
But he has these crystal blue eyes that you can see from a mile away, and he’s built with a ton of tattoos up and down his arms. Very different from the people who hang out here .
“Benton at yoga?” I say, laughing.
“I was trying something new,” Benton defends with a shrug.
“So were we,” Johnny says. “We’re new to the area, and thought it was a good way to meet people. Turns out it was.”
Johnny is much smaller than Greyson. Half his size in body weight at least, and I can’t tell his height from the way he’s sitting, but smaller than Greyson. His hair is lighter brown, and he doesn’t have facial hair.
“Where did you move from?” Theo asks.
“Georgia,” Greyson answers.
“Oh, what area? I’ve spent time in Savannah,” Theo adds.
“Not far from there,” Greyson says.
“So, our little group has gotten bigger,” Luca says with a grin. “Now, if only you’d show your face a little more…” He pins me with a stare.
I roll my eyes. “I come as often as I can.”
Theo snickers, and enough people catch it that we all start laughing.
Then his cheeks go pink. Luca gives me a knowing look, but I look away not wanting to get into that conversation.
It’s not that I don’t want to talk about it, I just don’t want my night filled with them gushing over it and asking a million questions.
They all know I haven’t dated anyone in years, so this is a big deal.
We can talk about it later. Or never, if it were up to me.
The drinks keep coming, and so does the conversation.
Before I know it, my cheeks are warm and I’m feeling tipsy.
Theo keeps flashing me heated looks and I’m tempted to take him into the bathroom to fuck him, but the place is too busy.
That bathroom probably has a mile-long line. There’s no way we’d get away with it.
I lean close to his ear. “Am I going back to your place after this?”
Theo smirks, finishing his drink. “Is there a reason you should?”
“Other than wanting to spend the night with you, yeah.”
“And what is that?” he asks, tilting his cup to get a piece of ice that he chews.
“Because I want to fuck you.”
Theo bites on his bottom lip as he puts his glass on the table. “I think that’s a great idea. But for now…” He stands up, taking my hand and pulling me after him. “We’re dancing,” he says over his shoulder.
Anything to get this man closer to me is fine.
Nathanial stopped singing a little bit ago and there’s someone DJing now.
The song is fast, the bass heavy. Theo is more confident than he was last time we danced together, and I like to think it’s because of me and not just the alcohol.
With a heated smirk, Theo gives me his back, leaning against me and grinding his ass against my dick.
Well, fuck…
My hands find his hips, and I move with him as his head comes to rest on my shoulder, and he moves with me like we were made for this. He’s driving me insane the way he’s rubbing all over my body, making me want to fuck him more than I already did.
“We’ve got thirty minutes!” the DJ shouts between songs, and everyone whoops, raising their hands in the air to cheer. “And because it’s the end of the year, let’s slow things down for a few minutes, yeah?”
This guy goes real old school with Elvis. The gentle melody of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” comes through the speakers, and people around us get into pairs, swaying to the slow beat.
Theo meets my eyes, and for some reason, I think he’s thinking the same thing I am.
What a fitting song for our first slow dance…
I don’t think I’m in love with Theodore Beaumont, but I’m certainly on my way to falling in love with him. I feel it everywhere in my body. When I look at him, touch him, kiss him, fuck him. Hell, just thinking about him.
His serious look turns into a smile, and he steps closer to me, his hands sliding up my chest and clasping behind my neck.
I wrap my arms around his waist, and I sing along softly in his ear, knowing each and every word of this song.
He hums quietly, sighing now and then, his body warm and relaxed in my arms. Somewhere in the middle of the song, my eyes fall closed too.
Everyone around us disappears. It’s just us and the lull of Elvis Presley singing about his love taking his hand and his life.
Would being in love with Theo be so bad? I can’t stop asking myself that question.
He’s nothing like my past and everything I can see for my future.
Maybe it’s fine to settle down and consider making a life with someone, instead of taking it day by day.
Maybe it’s time…
My back slams against the wall, forcing all the air from my lungs.
Theo’s hot mouth is on mine, his hands tearing at my shirt to get it off.
I need to remember to tip that driver extra because Theo and I were nearly fucking in the backseat of his car, and all he did was laugh.
Theo nips at my neck, growling when he goes for my pants.
I chuckle, the alcohol making my head swim.
“I love this enthasm—enthusum—en-thoo-zee-az-uhm… I think.”
“Stop talking, Tobias,” he growls.
“Okay,” I say, my voice muffled thanks to his hand covering my mouth.
Theo moves his mouth down my neck, over my chest and finds my nipple, sucking on it.
I gasp, my body thrusting against his, my dick looking for pressure—looking for him.
He drops to his knees; frantic hands getting my button and fly open.
His mouth is on my dick through my boxer briefs, sucking and licking.
Teeth too, which is hot as fuck. I hook my thumbs into my waistband and shove everything down.
Theo takes me into his mouth, sucking on the tip, then taking me to the back of his throat and gagging around me, which feels so fucking good.
“I love your cock,” he moans, moving his mouth to my balls.
“I love that you love my cock,” I answer, hand going to his hair and grasping onto it. “Are you my little cock slut?” He pauses, looking up at me. For a split second, I think I went too far, but the heat in his eyes tells me it’s just right.
He nods, running his tongue along his bottom lip.
“Fuck yes.”
“Then get back to sucking it,” I tell him, guiding his face back to my dick. “And don’t stop until you make me come.”
He groans around me, sending vibrations all the way through my dick. I hold his head between my hands, thrusting into his mouth. He sucks when I pull out and opens his mouth wide when I go back in. He gags, drool spilling down his face, but he lets me do what I want.
“Yes, just like that. You’re doing so well,” I praise him, noting the way he moans when I talk.
His nails dig into my thighs as he looks up at me, those green eyes bright and pleading for more.
“You want my cum?” I ask. He nods as best he can in the position he’s in.
I shift my feet and shove my dick as far into the back of his throat as I can.
He gags again, his throat contracting, and my cum spills down his throat.
With each pulse, his fingers dig deeper into my thighs.
My head falls back, thudding against the wall as I groan deeply, riding the waves of pleasure.
When I let go of Theo, he falls back onto his ass, panting for breath. I should maybe apologize, but I’m not sorry for using him the way he was letting me. If he wanted me to stop, he knows how to do that.
“We are not done,” I growl, grabbing his arms and lifting him to his feet. I push him against the wall and drop to my knees in front of him.
“There’s… no need,” he pants, but I ignore him as I pull open his pants. Only to realize what he means. I look up at him, my dick getting hard all over again.
“You came from sucking me off.”
His cheeks go pink as he stares at me.
“That’s so hot,” I say, bringing my gaze to the mess in his underwear. I pull them down, looking at his white gooey cum that’s staining the fabric and stuck to his dick. I lean in to lick it off, sucking his soft cock into my mouth to get every drop.
“Fuck, Tobias,” he growls, his legs trembling as his hands find my hair to tug me off. He whimpers and moans.
I slap him away, licking up every bit of cum I can find. When I’m satisfied I have it all, I get to my feet and press my forehead to his. It’s on the tip of my tongue to tell him, to say it— those three words. Let him know what I’m feeling.
“Tobias,” he whispers, hands brushing through my hair tenderly, almost like he knows.
“I can’t,” I answer softly. “I want to, but I can’t. ”
His arms wrap around me tighter, fingers combing through the hair at the back of my neck.
“It’s okay,” he says quietly. “I know, and it’s okay.”
I let out a deep, shuttering sigh, and just let him hold me.
