A'Mylo was in a class all alone. I didn't know what to do with him and his flirtatious ways.

I always seemed to flirt with him. Sometimes I'd start it, but he ended up finishing it.

Since the food truck festival two weeks ago, he turned up the heat.

I should have stayed out of the kitchen like he told me to, but I liked the way he flirted with me.

It showed that he was interested in me, and the attention he gave kept me engaged.

We were only supposed to be on a business level, but he somehow made it personal.

He wouldn't take no for an answer, no matter how many times I told him.

I said it almost too much until I had no choice but to give in.

Sometimes I went with the flow. I could be honest and admit that I enjoyed spending time with him.

The flirting I did when I showed him houses added fuel to the fire that was already burning.

Then he seemed to go along with the flirting, doing some of his own.

I paced back and forth, trying not to grow impatient.

I was at one of the houses, waiting for A'Mylo.

I glanced down at my watch, wondering what the holdup was.

He was usually on time, but he wasn't here.

If he didn't hurry, I would leave. I had planned to hang out with my friends later and wouldn't miss it.

I heard a car door close from the inside and went to look out of the window.

I couldn't help but watch the way A'Mylo moved from his car to the porch.

He walked with confidence with his head held high.

The swagger in his walk was sexy. He didn't have on a jumpsuit today.

He was dressed in a white tee with jeans and white and black Jordans on his feet.

I had to clench my thighs together. I felt like I needed a fan to cool myself down.

A small knock came at the door before it opened. When A'Mylo's eyes landed on me, a smile spread on his face, causing me to take a breath. I'd never get tired of the way he looked at me. It had me thinking he was happy to see me.

"Wassup? I hope you didn't have to wait long. I had to go pick up my daughter and take her to my parents."

I waved, pasting a smile on my face. "Oh, you're good. Since this is the last house for the day, I think we need to hurry and get started."

A'Mylo had shared a little with me about his baby mama when we were at the food truck festival, and I tried not to show my discomfort.

When it came to a man with kids, I was afraid to get involved with them because of my childhood.

It brought back too many bad memories. No matter how good-looking a man was or how well he treated a woman, there would always be a baby mama around.

Sometimes the baby mama was there to cause problems. I learned that from my parents.

Still, there was something about A'Mylo that I liked too much to stay away from him.

I wanted him too badly, no matter how much I was trying to play it off.

It was time for me to give it a rest and go with the flow.

I tried my hardest to keep my sexual side under wraps, but he was bringing it out of me.

How much more could I take from him before I exploded?

"Yeah, let's get started," A'Mylo responded.

We walked into the kitchen, and I pushed my boobs out as I pointed out different features, starting with the refrigerator. "Sometimes the home comes with furniture or appliances. This kitchen is an example."

I glanced over at A'Mylo, seeing his eyes were narrowed and lust-filled as he stared at me. I gulped and pushed forward.

While we were walking up the stairs, I put an extra sway in my hips. I heard him hiss but didn't turn around. I smiled to myself, loving the effect I had on him.

"Let's go to a bedroom," he voiced, coming beside me before walking ahead.

I frowned with my left eyebrow raised. "Is there a reason you want to go to a bedroom?"

"Um-hm, I think we need to fuck. From the way you're acting, it seems like that's what you want to do." A'Mylo kept walking, looking for a bedroom. "You keep on poking the bear, and when I pounce, I don't want to hear a word."

I laughed off what he said, although heat curled down my spine as my body sizzled. He had me tongue-tied, so I could only laugh. From A'Mylo's words alone, he had turned me on. If he were to find a bedroom, I bet I'd have sex with him and on the clock at that.

"You're the one doing all the flirting. If you want to get fucked just say that. I'm down if you are," he continued, leaning against the wall with his arms folded across his chest.

His eyes were locked on me intently. My eyes had a mind of their own as they traveled down the length of his body and stopped in the middle. I was sure he was huge just by the way he carried himself. He winked, grinning at me. "I see you."

Would A'Mylo really have sex with me here in this house if I were willing? I shook that thought away, not trying to go there. Not while I was still working, at least.

I clapped my hands together. "Okay, we need to get back to looking through the house."

A'Mylo laughed. "Nah, don't get scared now. With all that flirting you were doing, you should be ready for me to pounce on you."

He said all the right things to have my juices flowing. If only he knew I wasn't scared, but right now wasn't the time for that.

My cheeks burned. "Whatever. I'm not following you." I walked away from him, only for him to laugh hard at me.

Twenty minutes later, we made our way outside.

"This house is as nice as the first one. It's right up there with it," A'Mylo stated.

I exhaled deeply, knowing in my heart that he would soon purchase a house. I had to pray harder to close this deal fast.

I twisted away from A'Mylo to lock the door. When I rotated back around, he was still there waiting for me. Feelings settled in the pit of my stomach that I was unable to recognize. My heart fluttered in my chest as I nibbled on my bottom lip.

He pressed his lips together as he gazed at me. "I won't bother you today since I have plans tonight, but I'll call you later."

I forced a smile onto my face and nodded stiffly. "Okay. Enjoy yourself and have a good night."

With my shoulders sagging and my head lowered to my chest, I walked to my car. I had gotten used to hanging out with him after showing him a house. It was my norm.

Jaiden leaned forward and rested her elbows on the table. "Girl, why does it look like you lost your best friend?"

Sariyah scoffed, putting her cell phone down on the table. "She must've lost you because I'm still here."

Jaiden waved her off. "Girl, whatever."

The girls and I were out at Tito's for the night. They didn't know how much I needed this night out with them. Just being here at Tito's reminded me of the time A'Mylo and I were there. I needed to shake off the feeling of missing him and enjoy this time with my girls.

I eyed both of them before I pasted a smile on my face.

"There's nothing wrong with me. Y'all are extra for no reason.

" I peered around, wondering when the server would show up with drinks.

"We should have sat at the bar. The servers are moving slowly tonight," I complained.

We've never had to wait this long for drinks before.

"We sat down five minutes ago. You're so impatient." Jaiden laughed.

I rolled my eyes with a huff. "I can't help it. I need a drink."

I ran a hand across my forehead and peered around the bar. I saw a couple in their own world dancing closely together at the jukebox. From the way they moved and smiled in each other's faces, I could see the love between them. I had to look away, wondering if I would have that one day.

"Okay," Sariyah snapped. "What's the matter with you?" She gazed at me with her eyes narrowed. "Since you came here, you've had a sad expression on your face. Remember, it was your idea to chill with us."

I didn't want my friends to think I wasn't enjoying my time with them when I was. I just didn't know why my mind was heavily on A'Mylo.

My mouth opened and closed, unable to form words. Not because I had nothing to say, but because my eyes landed and locked on A'Mylo. He'd walked into my line of vision when he entered the bar.

He whispered something to the men he was with before making his way over to my table. My heart throbbed in my chest as my palms grew sweaty.

He leaned against the table, all in my face. "Wassup, beautiful? I didn't think I'd run into you tonight."

Hell, I didn't know either. I was tongue-tied and unable to form any words, yet again. The only thing I could do was stare at him.

"Ouch!" I hissed after being kicked under the table.

I shot daggers at my friends who appeared to be looking innocent when neither of them had an innocent bone in their bodies.

I turned my attention back to A'Mylo, who was still watching me. Truth be told, seeing him lifted my mood, but I didn't know if that was a good or bad thing.

"Are you trying to act brand new in front of your friends?" he asked, taking a seat in the chair next to mine.

"Oh no, sweetie, she acts like that with everyone. You're not special," Jaiden interjected.

I sent a glare her way, wanting to reach across the table and choke the hell out of her. I knew she meant well, but Jaiden tended to speak her mind when nobody asked her to.

Just then, the server returned with our drinks. "Sorry it took so long," she apologized, and set the tray down. "The place is getting crowded. I hope everything is to everyone's liking. If you need me, I'll be in the area." With that, she rotated around and left the table.

A'Mylo tapped my arm to gain my attention again. "My friends are here too. What do you say to us, ditching them and getting a table for ourselves to hang out?" he suggested.
