The moment fizzed with heat. “Shall we go somewhere a little more intimate?” Leticia suggested.

“That’s not a bad idea.” Lennart breathed out and together they left the pool and headed to his private room.

Ryosuke came out of the bathroom ready to go to sleep when he heard the door open. Ayame returned from the pool.

“Hey!” She greeted him cheerfully.

“Hey, how was it?”

“Excellent. Considering we’re in a bunker, everything seemed pretty… normal?”

Ryosuke smiled. “You had a good time?”

“Yeah! We met a couple of people and Aki made a friend, a girl her age.”

“That’s nice.”

“It was fun. You should come with us next time.”

“I will go with you when I’ll be more rested,” Ryosuke said approaching the bed.

“I need to take a shower. Is there any water left?”

“Yes, a little over two minutes, I think? Enough for a quick shower.”

“Oh, I hope so.”

“It should be, but it’s challenging to have more than two showers a day.”

“Haha, yeah. I’ll be quick.” Ayame went to the closet and took out a clean nightgown. Ryosuke meanwhile climbed on the bed, too tired to keep his eyes open. He settled comfortably on his side and after a few minutes he was fast asleep. Suddenly, he was woken up, Ayame’s hand crawling under his pajama top and to his front. He stirred and Ayame whispered, “Shh, relax, you can sleep if you like.”

As if I could sleep like this,he thought, his irritation growing.

“I just want to feel you.” She kissed the back of his neck and nuzzled her face in his hair. Her hand moved under his pajama, and she placed it on his stomach pressing their bodies together.

Ryosuke couldn’t fall back to sleep in such a position. He decided to wait until she fell asleep, so he could adjust himself comfortably. He moved after a few minutes and heard, “You’re not asleep yet?”

“No. I’m not.”

“Mmm…” Ayame began to move her hand and slide it under the waistband of his pajama bottoms.

“I’m not in the mood,” Ryosuke said but Ayame already grabbed his limp flesh and moved her hand.

“I’ll be quick,” she added with confidence.

“Tomorrow, okay? I’m tired.”

“Fine. But don’t forget what you promised.” She withdrew her hand and moved to her side of the bed.

“I won’t,” Ryosuke said, feeling guilty, but not enough to stop him falling asleep.

Lennart blinked his eyes to the new morning. The faint light coming from the LCD monitor indicated the new day had already begun. As Lennart stirred in the bed, he felt the warmth of someone’s naked body under the covers beside him. He froze, but the memories from the previous night slowly began to return. He turned to his left and saw Leticia still sleeping peacefully. He couldn’t see what time it was without his lenseson, so he grabbed his glasses. The digital clock beside his bed showed 8:35.

Lennart, careful not to disturb Leticia’s sleep, got off the bed and went to the bathroom to complete his morning routines. When he exited, dressed in his daily clothes, he saw that Leticia had already woken up. She was sitting on the bed covered only with the sheet and looking at him with a seductive smile. She tilted her head to the side.
