“You dream like that every night?” Gunner’s voice in a chair beside me made me jump, and I scrambled back onto the couch backwards.
“S-sometimes.” Quickly gathering the blankets and folding it up, I told him, “I’ll get out of your way. Thanks for letting me crash here.”
He stood with me, and the silence became awkward. He didn’t say a word as he watched me move around and then leave through his front door.
The morning air was crisp, I could feel it on my scalp reminding me that I lost my damn cap during the last outing. Irrational anxiety hit me as I quickly made my way through backyards until I was back at my own home. Climbing through the window, I looked around for a change of clothes, so I didn’t have to be reminded of Eliseo as I went about my day.
His scent clung to me, but not as much as the memory of the night before.
“It was just a slip up. We were both riding high on strange emotions. That’s all,” I told myself aloud as I rummaged through my dresser for another shirt.
I ran out of tape for my breasts, so I decided instead to wear a long sleeve beneath my shirt. Switching out some weaponry, I sat myself on the floor and cleaned some of the ones I used yesterday. Not hearing too much noise outside, I assumed the community probably hadn’t risen yet.Good.
Replaiting my hair, my mind played back how Eliseo washed it and massaged my scalp.Ugh. Stop thinking about it. You’re going to make things weirder than they already are!
Once I was done, I went downstairs and snuck out my back window again.
Stealthily, I made it to the back of the community wall, looking around to find the best location for me to jump. Hoping for some overgrown branches to aid in climbing, I finally reached a corner that looked to be my best bet.
“We can’t,” a feminine voice whispered, and my back went ramrod straight.
Turning, I didn’t see anyone, but my curiosity got the better of me.
“I don’t think you realize the position you’re in Hannah.” I recognized that male’s voice.
Crouching, I moved until I reached the back of the closest house. Peeking around the corner, my eyes widened as I slammed my hand over my mouth that wanted to let out a gasp.
Her hands were on his chest with her head facing to the side. Doctor Otis kissed up her neck and grabbed her ass suggestively. His goggles were still on his head, but he didn’t have his usual apron on. Instead, it looked like his pants were undone while he kissed down to the top of her breasts.
“We can’t do this anymore. I’m with Samuel now.”
Oh snap.
“What difference does it make? He’s not going to find out. I can kill him in an instant.” He grabbed her face and kissed her aggressively. “Would you like that? I can kill him while he sleeps, and he wouldn’t feel a thing.”
She shoved him away and he cackled. Her chest heaved as she stared at him with what looked like a hint of fear.
“No. This is it, Otis. This ends here. You need to stop looking for me. Stop calling for me. I’m with Samuel now.”
The doctor licked his lips and pulled out his cock, stroking it for her to see. What the hell kind of response was that? What was wrong with this guy?
Hannah stared at his movements, biting her lip right before she turned and ran off.
The doctor turned to watch her, still stroking his cock until he groaned, releasing himself all over the grass.
“Good for nothing woman. It ends whenIsay it ends.” He tucked himself away and walked off like nothing happened.
This place was full of secrets, it seemed. Shaking my head, I waited a few moments after the doctor disappeared before I went back to the corner of the wall I would climb. My hand grabbed the first brick that jutted out a little more than the rest while I tried to find somewhere I could place my footing.
This was probably a bad idea, but a solo trip to look for another cap, and the chance to breathe away from the team sounded like a good plan when it ran through my head.
Gripping the wall with the toe of my shoes, I reached up to try and grab the low hanging branch, when suddenly, strong arms pulled me off the wall.
I threw an elbow back and a masculine grunt responded.
“Sili, what the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
Turning in his arms, I stared at Eliseo incredulously. “Are you following me?”
