"Hey. It's okay. I've got you," I hear Thalia's voice at the same time I feel her hand touch my shoulder. "I'm here. You've got me," Thalia whispers in my ear and she wraps her arms around me and puts her head on my shoulder as I continue to cry and stare up at the sky.

"He-he did it. I know who did it."

Rowan

"What the fuckwere you doing in here with her, Andrew?" I say once Jane leaves the hallway. I walk closer to Andrew. "What the fuck did you do to her?"

"Why do you assume I did something?" Andrew asks as he backs away from me.

"Because I know you and I know Jane. Jane isn't the type to just do something irrational and do something knowing it would hurt me."

"Well, I didn't do shit, Rowan. Your girlfriend is just crazy."

At that point, I fucking lose it with him.

I push him against the wall and bang my fist above his head. "Don't fucking say that. She is not crazy."

"So you're going to trust someone that you barely know rather than someone you love?"

"I love her. You on the other hand I'm having some fucking doubts about."

It's true.

I love Jane Reyes.

Even though my balls are gonna get sliced by her dad, I love Jane Reyes with all my heart and everything else inside me. She makes the world brighter.

"Wow, so some girl over family, right?"

I push away from him. "I'm going to go find out myself. Fuck you."

"That's not a good idea," Andrew says, as I turn around to go to where Jane went but I turn my head to look at him.

"Why?"

"You shouldn't, Rowan."

"Fuck off." I leave the bathroom and walk out of the hallway but then Ace pushes me against the wall. Not this shit again. "Let me go."

"No. Tell me what's happening. Cole is still sitting at the dining table with everyone else. He was about to be the one to come here but I told him to sit his ass down to save your ass. I like you, Rowan, but I love Jane so what the fuck did you do to hurt her?"

"I didn't do shit. Can you let me go so I can go see what's going on? Because I feel like I'm going crazy."

"It has something to do with your brother, that's for sure." Ace lets go of me.

"I know. He didn't tell me though."

"I'll find out myself," he says, and was about to walk past me but I put my hand on his chest.

"Let me handle him. Just get him the hell out of here and tell him to meet at my apartment. I'll handle him there."

"Rowan-"

"Once I figure out what the fuck happened and make sure Jane is okay, then I'll talk to Cole about all of this. Just distract Cole and make sure he doesn't know anything about this or what happened."

"He will find out Rowan. I don't know how you're going to keep whatever this is hidden anymore."
