I was frozen temporarily by his profile photo, him and a girl I vaguely recognized from school. He was staring moodily at the screen as she kissed his cheek.

A wave of jealousy washed over me as I clicked accept, desperate to see the photo in more detail and stalk the man. My heart was pounding as I waited for the screen to load, finally sinking my teeth into my lip when I saw his photo feed.

It was him and this girl, all over.

I narrowed my eyes as I clicked on her name.

Surely he didn’t have a girlfriend? I remembered how he looked at me if he asked if I could feel the attraction between us. Surely...

Relief spread through me as I saw her profile come up, informing me she was in a relationship with someone named Tate.
