"I cannot believe you are here.” I lift a shaking hand to her cheek, inhaling sharp as she leans into my touch. "I cannot believe it, I do not deserve this miraculous gift."

Frankie leans in and presses a sweet kiss to my lips. "You have to because you do and we now have forever for me to convince you of both."

"Gods I love you.” I grip her neck and rest my forehead against hers. "I love you so fucking much."

"I love you too, baby.” Then Frankie smirks. "And as soon as you're feeling up to it, I plan on showing you just how much I do love you."

With a growl that vibrates through my entire battered chest, I kiss her possessively. Kiss her like I missed her. Kiss her like she is mine for all time.

Then jerk my head toward the hall when a thump comes from the darkroom.

“Shit," I grunt, attempting to get to my feet.

"What was that?" Frankie looks toward the noise as it happens again. "Is someone seriously breaking into our house right now?"

“Colt,” I grunt again and limp my way toward the hall. "He was helping me figure out where you went."

“Ah." My mate giggles. "Hurry up and get rid of him so I can tend to your needs. Coming back from death and knowing you just fought an Ancient for me to do so has made me all kinds of horny. Not to mention, those horns are pretty fucking hot, too."

With a groan, I continue my new mission to rid the wolf from our cabin. "I fucking missed you."
