The sun beams through the window to our cabin bedroom. Lara is tangled up between the sheets, resting her head on my chest.

“Good morning, pchelka.”

I had a text from Nikolai, they need me back. It sounds like Ivan’s guys are sniffing around the casinos.

And Mikhail isn’t there to scare them away.

We can’t let them know he’s gone.

“Morning, Alexei. You’re awake early.”

“Hmm, I like watching you sleep.”

Maybe one day I'll tell her how many times I have watched her.

“Lies. Something is on your mind, spill.”

Her nails start scratching at my throat and I groan.

“Leave marks and I’ll get them tattooed there too,” I tease, but I am being serious.

She stifles a yawn.

“Please do, those back ones you had done are so hot. Marked and mine. But stop deflecting, talk to me.”

I can’t help but grin at how well she reads me.

“Fine. You got me. Nikolai needs me. Well, us.”

She pushes herself up, blowing her blond hair out of her face.

“Then we go. Family is important. Especially now. Plus, we have news.” She holds up her hand and wiggles her fingers in front of my face.

“That we do. I was also thinking…” I trail off.

“Oh, God. What?”

I slap her ass and yank back the cover, revealing her naked body.

So gorgeous. And distracting.

Pinning her hands above her head, I roll over and settle between her legs.

“I was thinking, we move into the place I bought you and we do it up, together?”

She wraps her legs around my ass and pushes me into her.

“Deal. Let’s do that. Shall we make a movie theater room?”

“Whatever your heart desires, baby. The world is yours.”
