Story: Content of the Magic Box
Monsterpedia is a book issued by the Hunters Guild that serves as a Wikipedia of monsters. It contains profiles of known threats, including information on the monsters, tricks, tips on how to defeat them, their difficulty level, and party recommendations. The difficulty of a monster is ranked by stars, with a higher number indicating a harder monster to deal with. The book has 300 profiles, divided into five categories: Monsters, Magical Beasts, Mutants, Dangerous Plants, and Legendary.
Mutants are humans, monsters, or wild animals that have been affected by corrupted magic.
Monsters
1. The first example is the Goblin. They are ranked as one-star difficulty and are described as green creatures that resemble small, skinny men. The height of full-grown Goblins varies from 50cm to 85cm. They make weapons for themselves or use anything they loot from their victims, such as sticks, rocks, or anything sharp they can lift. Goblins are weak individually, but they are strong in numbers. A minimum party of five adventurers is recommended for hunting Goblins.
Killing 20 Goblins earns the title "Goblin Hater" on the Hunter's Card. Killing 50 Goblins earns the title "Goblin Stomper" on the Hunter's Card.Killing 100 Goblins earns the title "The Goblin Killer." on the Hunter's Card.Killing 1000 Goblins earns the title "The Goblin Slayer." on the Hunter's Card.
2. Gobliman, ranked at one-star difficulty, looks similar to a Goblin but is much larger. The full-grown height of Gobliman ranges from 95cm to 155cm. Unlike Goblins, Gobliman wears self-made or looted armor and weapons. The most common weapons include small knives, short swords, and bows. Some even have light armor made from wood or bones. Gobliman is individually weak but strong in numbers, and they often travel in groups with Goblins.
When taking on a Gobliman hunting quest, it is recommended to have a minimum of 5 adventurers in a party.

3. The Cuthona Slug is a one-star threat-level creature that measures 30cm in height and 100cm in length. Its body is covered in ocean blue soft scales with yellow stripes on its back. Though slow, it is deadly if approached.
Cuthona Slug attack by spitting acid and hunting sleeping prey by injecting poison through tentacles from their mouth. Once the victim is paralyzed, the slug wraps around the body, slowly melting and eating it.
These creatures are mostly found in waterfall caves, underwater caves, and around rivers with rocky terrain. Having a minimum of two adventurers in a party is recommended when undertaking a hunting quest for these slugs. It is also suggested to bring salt as it can be useful in the hunt.

4. Jelly Slime is a common type of slime found in the wild. Its threat level is rated at one-star. Unique to this type of slime is its ability to harden itself for protection. Slime growth is measured in liters, with the potential to grow from 1 liter to 250 liters. The Jelly Slime is relatively slow and not aggressive, choosing to hunt its prey at night while they sleep. It captures its victims by either entering their bodies and slowly eating them from the inside, or by engulfing them and drowning them.
Slime is highly resistant to physical damage but can be fought using ice, fire, or alcohol. It is recommended to have at least two party members when facing a Jelly Slime. A simple solution is to hit it with a torch.Killing 30 Jelly Slimes earns the title "Jelly Killer" on the Hunter's Card.
5. The Red Slime is a two-star threat. This rare and dangerous slime can grow from 1 liter to 220 liters. It is faster and more aggressive than the Jelly Slime, hunting its prey both day and night. The Red Slime attacks those who approach it and has a unique melting effect that either enters the victim's body and eats them slowly from the inside or engulfs and slowly melts its prey. Physical trauma is ineffective against this slime, but ice, fire, and alcohol are highly effective. A party of three is recommended, as a simple torch will not be sufficient.
Killing 30 Red Slimes earns the title "Painted in Red" on the Hunter's Card.
6. The Green Slime is a formidable and dangerous creature, with a three-star threat level. Rare and more dangerous than Red Slime, it can grow from 1 liter to 260 liters and is faster and more aggressive than its red counterpart. Green Slime hunts its prey day and night and will attack anything that approaches it.
This slime is unique in that it is an acid slime, which can either enter its victim's body and eat it from the inside or engulf its prey and melt it in minutes. Due to its immunity to physical trauma, it is recommended that a party of five members engage it, and that ice, fire, and alcohol are used as weapons, as a torch and alcohol alone will not be effective.
Killing 30 Green Slimes earns the title "I like the way it burns" on the Hunter's Card.
7. The Ambush Spider is a two-star threat. It can grow up to 100cm in height and 120cm in length and is a master of disguise, covered in short grass and moss making it difficult to notice. It ambushes its victims and injects them with a non-lethal numbing poison to paralyze them. It then returns to finish the job when the victim can no longer move. They mostly live in damp swamp regions and it is recommended to have a party of at least 3 adventurers to take on an Ambush Spider quest.

8. Hound, ranked at one-star difficulty, is similar to a normal wolf but much larger. Full-grown hounds can reach a height of 80cm to 140cm when standing on all fours, and they typically weigh around 62kg. Individually, they are weak but can be formidable when in large numbers. They are often used as pets by Goblins and are usually found traveling with them.
When taking on a hunting quest for Hounds, it is recommended to have a minimum of a five-adventurer party. The difficulty of the quest given by the Hunter's Guild may vary.
9. Lizardmen are ranked as two-star difficulty creatures. They are large reptiles with muscular, scaly skin, sharp teeth, and claws. Full-grown lizardmen stand between 170cm and 190cm tall. They wear self-made or looted armor and weapons, similar to goblins and orcs. Their primary weapons are their sharp claws and teeth, and the small scales on their body provide light armor. Lizardmen are stronger than goblins or orcs and typically travel in groups of up to 10 individuals. A minimum party of five adventurers is recommended to take on any lizardman hunting quest.
Killing 50 lizardmen earns an adventurer the title "Scale Business" on their Hunter Card, and killing 100 lizardmen earns the title "All I See Is Scales."
10. The Jelly Slime King is a massive slime that is the weakest of all Slime Kings. Its threat level is three stars. It can grow from 250 liters to 900 liters and is dangerous because it can swallow a person whole and drown them. Its immunity to physical trauma is offset by its weakness to ice, fire, and alcohol. A minimum of 8 adventurers or a party of 1 box power user and 5 adventurers is recommended when facing this creature. It is also advisable to bring a lot of fire and alcohol to the fight.
Achievements for killing Jelly Slime Kings include "Jelly King Hater" for killing 15 Jelly Slime Kings and "Jelly King Killer" for killing 25 Jelly Slime Kings. These titles will be listed on the adventurer's Hunter Card.
11. The Red Slime King is a formidable foe, much harder to defeat than a regular Jelly King. With a threat level of three stars, this massive slime can grow from 230 liters to 920 liters. It poses a significant danger as it can swallow adventurers whole and slowly melt them. However, it is immune to physical trauma but weak to ice, fire, and alcohol. It is recommended that a party of at least eight adventurers, or one box power user and five adventurers, take on this enemy. It is especially beneficial to have a fire magic box power user in the group.
For those who are successful in killing the Red Slime King, there are special achievements to be earned. After killing 15 Red Slime Kings, an adventurer will receive the title "Red King Hater" on their Hunter Card. And after killing 25 Red Slime Kings, the adventurer will receive the title "Red King Killer" on their Hunter Card.

13. Trolls are ranked as two-star difficulty monsters. They have a muscular build and dark green skin and can vary in height from 170cm to 210cm. They wear self-made or looted armor and weapons, similar to Goblins. Their most common weapons are short swords, spears, and clubs. They are stronger than Goblins but weaker than Orcs. They often travel in groups with Goblins. A party of at least 5 adventurers is recommended for hunting Trolls.
Killing 15 Trolls earns an adventurer the title "I got Trolled" on their Hunter Card and killing 50 Trolls earns the title "I Kill Trolls".
14. Orcs are ranked as two-star difficulty creatures. They are large, muscular beasts with green skin. The height of a full-grown orc can range from 160cm to 220cm. Orcs wear self-made or looted armor and weapons, similar to regular goblins. Common weapons include self-made short swords, spears, and bows, and some may even have light armor made from wood or bones. They are stronger than goblins and even more formidable in large numbers. They often travel in groups with goblins.
For hunting quests, it is recommended to have a minimum party of 5 adventurers. Killing 20 orcs grants the adventurer the title "Big Green Thing" in their hunter card, and killing 50 orcs grants the title "All I See Is Green."
15. The Swamper is a two-star difficulty monster that dwells in swamps. It is a large and dirty creature, with a height range of 220cm to 280cm. Its primary weapon is its bare hands. To successfully hunt a Swamper, a party of at least five adventurers is recommended.
As an achievement, an adventurer will receive the title "I've Seen Swamper" on their Hunter Card after killing 15 Swampers. After killing 40 Swampers, the adventurer will receive the title "I've Killed Swamper" on their Hunter Card.
16. The Behemoth is a large, dark green humanoid monster with some intelligence. It wears medium or heavy armor, which it either makes itself, finds, or takes from its victims. Its threat level is three stars, and its height and weight can vary from 250cm and 350kg to 350cm and 550kg, respectively, due to its pure muscle. The Behemoth is the strongest monster in the goblin family.
As a weapon, the Behemoth primarily uses its brute strength. It can use rocks and downed trees, and its main attack is charging at its enemies armed with shields, logs, big rocks, and anything else it can lift. It typically lives and travels with Orcs, Goblins, Gobliman, Trolls, and Ogres.
Due to its strength, it is not recommended for rookie adventurers to engage, and at least one Power user and more than five adventurers are recommended for taking it on.
Killing 10 Behemoths earns an adventurer the title "Giant Killer" on their Hunter Card, and killing 20 earns the title "Hulking Fury".
17. Moss Trolls, ranked at a two-star difficulty level, are large and muscular beasts covered in green moss-like skin. Their height can range from 180cm to 210cm, and in rare cases, they may travel and live with Goblins. They primarily fight with their bare hands or with whatever they can find to use as a weapon. Some may even have light armor made from wood or bones. They are stronger than Gobliman, Goblins, and Orcs. A minimum of five adventurers is recommended for a Moss Troll hunting quest, with the party size varying depending on the difficulty of the quest.

18. The Leaf Grizzly is a formidable monster, with a threat level of three stars. Its body is covered in a thick hide and it has solid bone horns on its shoulders. It can weigh up to 850 kg and grow up to 350 cm in height and 400 cm in length. Its weapons are its sharp claws, big fangs, and horns. They are solitary creatures and are very rare to encounter, only found in the most remote areas of the forest. A minimum of five veteran class adventurers with at least one 3-star box power user is recommended for hunting this monster. Grizzly kill quests are not recommended for adventurers.

19. The Hellspawn is a highly aggressive and muscular monster with a three-star threat level. It has no hide and is covered in small horns. A solid bone plate protects its head, and it has four eyes that allow it to see in the dark and hunt at any time. Weighing up to 750 kg and reaching up to 350 cm in height and 600 cm in length, it is a formidable opponent. Its weapons are sharp claws and large fangs. The Hellspawn is a solitary creature that is rarely encountered, found only in the most remote places in the world. A minimum of five veteran-class adventurers with at least one three-star box power user is recommended to take on this monster. Killing Hellspawn is not recommended for adventurers.

These monsters are solitary creatures and are found in the most remote places in the world. It's recommended to have at least 8 veteran class adventurers with at least one 3-star box power user to take on this monster. Killing quests for the Lizard Dragoon are not recommended for adventurers.
