Chapter 19 Clive

Suzuka reclined in the back of the shelter while Clive kept watch. The rain intensified, the clouds darkened, and the distant rumble of thunder echoed. The soothing sound of raindrops hitting the wooden roof and the cool, comfortable ground quickly lulled Suzuka to sleep. Once he confirmed that the area was secure, Clive turned his attention to Suzuka and began to check her out. As he did so, he pondered to himself.

"Whaaa! This girl is so hot, dam son! Oh! I want to jump on her so much! No! No! No! Clive focus! Focus man! There's no time for that! Just look what happened to your leg and arm last time you did stupid shit."

The man slaps his cheeks a few times and continues to look outside. After 10 minutes of not seeing any change outside, he looks at the girl's butt and thinks.

"Oh, man! These Jennifer leather pants are so tight on her cheeks, it's so beautiful, I want to touch it so much... god damn it Clive, not again. Focus man, it's not time for that. For Melwyn's sake man, get it together!"

The man calmed himself down and continued his lookout but there wasn't much change outside. After staring another 15 min at falling rain hitting mud. Clive turned to Suzuka so that his hungry eyes could have a feast.

 Suzuka was facing him laying on her side, still sleeping sound. After her body changed from a werewolf bite, her muscle tissue mass increased and her breasts along with other body parts got bigger and tighter, filling her leather armor nicely. Clive looked at her breasts and thought to himself:

"Oh, come on! That's it, as soon as we are close to safety I will have my hands on that body, woohoo! And when I'm done, I sell her to my old friend on the black market for some money. Ha! No one is looking for kidnapped people these days! Free money baby! Now that I think about it... some fun with a girl! Got my leg and arm back! Well dam, not such a bad day after all."

Clive's daydream was interrupted by the sound of running footsteps. Upon taking a look outside, he saw three goblins hurrying towards the orc camp, armed with short spears and daggers. These weapons posed no threat to the seasoned adventurer. After the goblins passed by, Clive began to contemplate his next move and formulate a plan.

 "Okay, first and most important, I need to get to safety, then I can have my way with the girl hehe. The second part would be some money then hire a few men to escort me back to Woodmill town, well I can sell the girl for 1.5 no! Maybe 2.5 gold coins, and that utility belt of hers, it's filled with gems, so that might be 20 silver. Hmm... that's a little fortune, should do the trick. Okay, that's that, looks like the rain isn't stopping any time soon, we better get moving."

Clive looks outside for the last time, but there was no one around as far as he could see. Done looking he woke up Suzuka and told her.

"Rise and shine sweetheart, it's time to move. Rain is still pouring down and it's not stopping any time soon. It's getting too hot here and not in a good way. Saw a few Goblins running around. It would be bad if they notice us."

Suzuka Jumps up right away and answers him.

"Okay, Clive, I'm ready, rain never bothered me to begin with."

"Well, rain or not, we can't stay here any longer, it's getting dangerous but first, let's check our items. I have pretty much only my sword and bare fists, how about you?"

Suzuka looks at her belt, sword, and 4 throwing knives that were on her leather pants.

"I don't have much too, let me check what I have in my utility belt."

She put her belt on the ground and started to browse through her pockets. After checking every pocket she said:

"Got a Sword, 4 throwing knives, Some flashbangs, stun crystals, pearls, sunstones, water purification crystals, and anti-corrupted magic crystals."

Clive saw what was in her pockets and thought to himself.

"Okay! That's better than I thought, everything she got on her belt is worth at least 1 gold if not more. Hahaha! She got ACM crystals, these babies worth at least 10 silver per piece, even in a black market. Oh, dam son! Now I only need to make it to the town in one piece."

"Is something wrong Clive? You went silent there for some time."

"Oh! No, no it's all good!... All good. Yeah, I see not much on you too, we better avoid difficult fights and don't throw around your crystals, ok? Let's use the sword to fight and if we run into a strong enemy we run."

Suzuka neatly organized her belongings and secured them in her belt. Clive retrieved his sword from the ground and stepped outside quietly, trying not to make any noise. He approached a large leafy plant and carefully cut two leaves, using them as a shield from the falling rain.

"Hey Suzu, which leaf do you want?"

"I'm fine as it is, thanks. I like rainy days, so this little shower doesn't bother me."

"Okay, you're a weird one, but hey! I'm not judging. But still, you can use these big leaves as camouflage too."

"I think I pass, thanks."

"Oh well, as you wish, I don't like rainy days but it helps to avoid monsters easier. So anyway, let's go and try not to make too much noise."

Suzuka just nodded her head and followed Clive a few steps behind him. They walked through the forest for about 20 minutes but didn't see any monsters or beasts, only the sounds of crying animals in the distance. 

The dark sky and falling rain made a creepy atmosphere around them, and the sound of raindrops hitting the ground echoed through the forest. Dark shadows started to play tricks on their eyes, making them a little bit paranoid and jump at even the slightest noise. Tall, wet grass and plants looked scary, not because of their look but from who might jump out from them.

Trees were swinging because of the wind, making a frightening sound. Clive was sweating a lot, he looked very scared and tense, and that menacing atmosphere of the dark and dangerous forest was getting through to him. Suzuka was calm and carefully, observed her surrounding, she doesn't want to fall for the beast-eating plant or some monsters again.

The wet and soft ground made Clive's journey even harder for him as his feet kept sinking into the mud. Suzuka didn't feel weary even wearing her iron-coated boots. As they traveled through the forest they reached a narrow road. Clive's face started to show some signs of relief. Before they get on the road Clive carefully checked the area and after making sure no one was around, came out on the road.

"All right! We're making good progress here, might even reach the town by the morning."

"Wait, morning? Are you thinking about going at night time?"

"Oh, you better believe me! I don't want to do that too, it's really dangerous at night, girl. But I don't know any safe spots around here where we could stay the night."

"Okay, then, is this road leading to town?"

Sorry to disappoint you, but no. It's just one of the safer paths. The road is good and not many monsters around these areas, so we can pick up the pace, that's all. But hay.... we will get there.

"Oh... keg stick. And here I thought we were close."

While they talked something moved inside the bushes not too far from them.

"Wait, did you hear that, girl? I think something moved in these bushes. Oh hell no... I don't like this... I don't like this at all."

"Yes, I think I heard something, it's getting kind of spooky Clive, we heard noise and bushes move a few times now. it's not the first time that happens and it's not a wind. Something is out there and it's praying on us."

With an annoyed expression, Clive stared at the bushes, waiting for something to happen. However, he grew bored and turned to face the other side before starting to walk and talk simultaneously.

"Tck! Annoying little shits... it's just probably some small animal, if it was something dangerous we would be attacked or dead by now."

"Ahem, so you think something is tailing us? Maybe Goblins?"

"Nah, girl! It's not Goblins for sure, these little suckers can't keep their mouth shut for a second, and even if you can't hear them talk, you would smell them. It's something else, something small."

Ten more minutes had passed as they walked down a narrow forest road. They noticed that they were being followed a few more times. However, as they continued down the road, they noticed more and more movement from the bushes on both sides. Realizing that the situation was becoming increasingly dangerous and their pursuers no longer cared about hiding their presence, Suzuka and Clive broke into a run.

"This isn't looking good girl, these bastards don't even bother to be sneaky anymore. We might be in trouble soon if we don't shake whatever is tailing us."

"So we're in trouble? Do we fight?"

"I would rather not, it seems they have a few numbers on their side, we better make haste before we get surrounded and killed."

When Suzuka and Clive started to run, razor rabbits jumped out of the bushes behind them and started to run after them at full speed.

"You just look at that Suzu, it was razor rabbits tailing us all this time. Oh, these little shits... I hate them so much."

"I can see only 3 of them, should we get them? I think we could kill them."

"Yeah, we should! It would be bad to run into other monsters while having someone chasing after us from behind. It's only 3 of them we should be fine."

They stopped and faced razor rabbits head-on but as Suzuka and Clive stopped, razor rabbits stop as well.

"So Clive, what's the plan?"

"Girl, how are you with a sword? Can you fight?"

"Well, I have swung a few times with a sword before, I should be fine."

"Okay then here's the plan, razor rabbits are cowards so they gonna go after a smaller target first, that's you, but don't worry just focus on defense. When they get close I will charge them from behind you and cut them in one fellow sweep. Okay?! If I fail to kill them in one go you step in to assist. Did you get any of that?"

"Yes, I get it! Sounds like a plan!"

The Razor Rabbits approached slowly, staying at least 10 meters away from Suzuka and Clive. Despite the delay, they remained a safe distance away. After a few more minutes, ten more rabbits suddenly jumped out from the bushes, bringing the total number to 13. The group of rabbits became increasingly aggressive as they crowded closer together.

"Um Clive, does the plan still stand? There are a lot of them now!"

But the man stood there in silence with a look of deep thought on his face, Clive was thinking.

"Oh hell no! 13 razors?! You have to be kidding me! No way we make out of this in one piece! No, no, no god demit I was so close to town. Think Clive, think..."

While Clive was taking his sweet time Suzuka had a thought.

"I could wipe them with my magic box power, but I can't control it well I might hit Clive too and that would be bad. Looks like we gonna be fighting them with swords. It's a lot of them but It should be fine."

While still thinking, Clive looked at Suzuka then at razor rabbits, and had a thought.

"Ahha... stupid me, it looks like this is it for me. Probably I will die like a hero here, how stupid I was thinking about selling this girl for money or having my desires pleased with her body, well at this point there's only one right thing to do."

After coming to his senses, Clive told Suzuka.

"Oh! You bet it stands! Get ready, here they come!"

Suzuka stepped forward as planned, with Clive positioning himself behind her, sword at the ready. She was focused on what lay ahead, while Clive prepared to carry out his plan. Suddenly, he struck Suzuka with a punch to the back of her head, slamming her face-first onto the ground. Before she could come to her senses Clive ripped off her utility belt. 

Suzuka got stunned and lay on the ground but not because of pain but because she couldn't understand what was happening. 

The moment Clive had her utility belt in his hand he kicked Suzuka in the stomach sending her flying right in front of razor rabbits. Without wasting even a fraction of a second he turned around and ran while talking to himself.

"Well! Too bad can't sell her into slavery! Or get fun with her body! At least she's gonna be a good decoy while I get myself out of here! I'm not throwing my life just for some fun with your body, bye!"

When the danger was around, Clive was good for one thing, running away and it didn't take him even a few moments to disappear from sight, leaving Suzuka swarmed by razor rabbits. She didn't feel much pain from getting kicked, she reached out her hand looking at running Clive, and begged him.

"No! Please! Don't leave me! Wait!"

But Clive was long gone and razor rabbits weren't so forgiving that they would wait for their prey to get up. Rabbits swarmed up Suzuka from all sides and started to shred her with their razor-sharp claws, while still on the ground she covered her face with her arms. 

Rabbits couldn't cut deep into her strong skin, but only in a few moments, they cowered her body with cuts and bruises putting her in a lot of pain. While laying on the ground, getting abused by rabbits, memories of all the bad things that happened to her flashed through her mind. 

As the pain got more and more unbearable, she got angrier and angrier and anger started to turn into unyielding rage. Razor rabbits attacks only got fiercer and fiercer until Suzuka snap from all that pain.

"Aaaaahh! I had enough of you all, screwing me over like that! Who's fault is it that I have to go through all this pain?! You all gonna pay for this, especially you Anton, just wait till I get my hands on you! As for you little shits, I kill you all!"

While shouting, she curled her fingers into fists, covered them in dark shadows using her magic power, and slammed them into the ground flattening everything 1 meter deep around her in 5 meters radius along with herself. She nearly knocked herself out cold with that attack and what once was a razor rabbit's now it's only a puddle of crushed raw meat.

"There! Maybe others will think twice before messing with me."
