Chapter 31 Rough Training

Without saying another word Bill started to run toward Suzuka, but he wasn't enraged this time. Suzuka took her battle stance and prepared to dodge his attacks. The first hit was a right-hand jab but it was a faint followed by a left-hand hook. Suzuka was about to dodge to the left before the jab hit but she saw the hook coming and guarded it with both of her arms. She had no time to avoid the attack so she took the full force of Bill's bone-shattering left hook. Even though Suzuka put up a guard against the attack it still knocked her down to the ground. The hit was so strong that after hitting the ground she started to roll. She ignored the pain in her arms and quickly returned to her feet.

"Good, very good! If you go down, get back up as fast as you can. No one will wait in a real fight!"

Without waiting for a response Bill closed in on her and started to throw fast punches mixing in a few front kicks. Bill wasn't attacking seriously so Suzuka had no problem avoiding his attacks. They traded a few blows but Bill didn't even feel her fist. Suzuka took a few blows from Bill, she was in pain, but she could continue. Bill was getting faster and faster with each punch and kick. Fortunately for her, Suzuka could still barely keep up with his assault. But he suddenly stopped attacking and pointed his finger behind Suzuka while saying.

"What is that, behind you?!"

Suzuka quickly turn her head to see what Bill was pointing at but there was nothing there. In that split-second, while she was distracted Bill grabbed her with one hand, gripped her slim waist, and lifted her up.

"Hahaha! Bill can't believe, Girl fell for that! Stupid Girl, caught you now! Hahaha! Lesson one! Don't let a bigger opponent grab you. That's almost a certain death."

"Wait, wait, wait Bill... This is not funny, what are you going to do to me? Could you put me down on the ground, please? Gently, please don't slam me to the ground."

"Hmmm... Girls' waist is so soft and tiny... One strong squeeze and girl is no more. Bill has seen many adventurers die like that... Behemoths! Yeah, if them brutes grab you, girl, they won't let go until your guts spill on the ground. Ruthless beasts!"

"I understand, I know what my mistake was, pay attention to my surroundings, don't lose focus, and do not let my guard down, right?"

"Hmmm... Bill was just messing with Girl... jesting... but... Yeah, good point."

"So... could you free me from your grasp? Pretty please?"

"Hmm... Bill has something else in mind. How would Girl like it if Bill gave her a bear hug?"

"No, no, no bear hugs, please. How about we talk first, hmm? Maybe about the weather? It's sunny today, but I like rainy days and rain. How about you? Hehe..."

"What? Talk? Why Girl making this awkward? We come here to fight not to talk."

"You are the one whos holding me by the waist. You making this awkward. Could you put me down so we could continue training?"

"Heh! Fine! Have it your way. Taking slow... It's boring you know, could we step up a notch?"

"It was only the first training day, and I need more time to get used to this. So please Bill, at least for today, let's go slow. Okay?"

"Pff! Yeah, fine!"

Bill dropped her to the ground and took a few steps back. Suzuka stood up and continued the training. Bill was surprisingly cooperative and calm with all the training they took. This time Suzuka rushed in on Bill throwing in a couple of body blows. But Bill wasn't impressed, he just stood still and took it. Without using her full body transformation these hits felt like baby slaps to Bill, that's how big of a difference was between them. Noticing it has no effect on him Suzuka made a quick step back to gain distance.

"Heh! Is that it? This is all you have? Where did all that strength go? Girl hit Bill hard enough to bend the knee! What was the difference from now to back then?! Huh? Tell me!"

"I... I was angry, very angry... and scared... I didn't know what to do, I was desperate to survive... and it just happen."

"Oh! It's simple then... just get mad! Go crazy! It's just you and me here. What do you fear? Do you fear turning into a monster if you keep going on? Bill has news for you... You... Are... A monster... A beautiful monster, Bill gives you that... But no human and I mean human... have this mush raw brawn, hardiness, durability. You are a mutant, just like me! Just another MIS failed experiment, so let loose! Unleash that anger, Bill will take it all! Fight me for real!"

Suzuka tear up while listening to Bill speak and when he finished speaking she said, "Wait! Did MIS hurt you too? I was a victim of MIS... they hired someone to kidnap me and did a horrible thing to me. It was painful, cruel, and inhumane."

"It's a long story that Bill doesn't want to tell... I don't care anymore, It was a long time ago... Bill doesn't dwell on the past. The girl got strength from it... Bill was the same... now, Girl needs to learn to use that strength as Bill did."

"For what it's worth Bill, I would like to listen to your story, I really mean it. But now, I will try to increase my strength as I did before... just give me a second."

She closed her eyes and put all her focus on her body. The gentle wind was tickling her skin, her body got covered in a cold sweat, then she began to remember that feeling she felt when unyielding rage took over her mind and strengthened her body. Her mana was the answer, by learning how to feed her enhanced body enough mana to trigger her transformation. In her enraged state, she was doing it on instinct but she needed to learn how to do it without losing herself to rage.

Suzuka tried to trigger her transformation, she began to consume her mana by infusing it into her body. Her heart rate increased, her chest was pounding like a drum, her muscle mass slowly grew to show every muscle fiber, and her yellow eyes turn to red. Bill recognized her change right away, it was the same as before when they first fought.

 "Yes! This is it! Keep going, Girl!"

Suzuka didn't respond to Bill, she was too busy focusing. Shortly after she was comfortable with her power-up and was ready to continue the training. She wasn't at her max body enhancement, only on about 25% but it was a good start. 

She took her battle stance and said to Bill, "Okay! I think this will do for now. Let's give it a go!"

"Finally! Some fun!"

That's all Bill needed to hear to get fired up. Without wasting any time Bill Sprinted towards the girl, jumped a few feet in the air, lifted his giant hands above his head, and dropped down slamming a girl with all his might. Suzuka evaded his attack and he hit the ground, now it was a perfect chance for her to make a move. While Bill was recovering, for that split second, she moved to the side and side-kicked him in his ribs. This time Bill felt a hit, it wasn't fatal or very painful, but it hurt. Suzuka didn't let up, she started pounding at Bill as fast and strongly as she could.

 Bill didn't give her any free shots and lifted his arms to his chin height and guarded himself while saying, " Heh! Getting better!"

But Suzuka didn't give him any breathing room, fast punching with some mixed-in kicks she kept on pushing. Bill was still calm and showed no signs of going crazy in rage. While taking all the hits Bill was observing her move. Noticing Girl slowing down Bill launched a quick jab to match her punch and collided with her fist, the moment Girl got staggered by the collision Bill dropped his guard and with all his might launched a one-two combo at her face. First, comes a left straight punch to her face that stunned her and knocked her out of balance, stopping her momentum. The second was a right straight punch that introduced her to the ground. 

Looking at the girl in pain laying on the ground Bill stopped and asked her, "Girl? Are you okay? Bill got carried away a bit."

"Auhhh... I'm alive... I think... I had enough... training for the day."

It was no surprise that Suzuka got knocked down. If a normal human had taken one punch like that from Bill, his head would be blown off of his shoulders.

"So, Girl... Should Bill carry you inside?"

"Ahhhh... let... me... lay down here... for a while. Can't even stand up... let me rest."

"Ohhh! Nonsens Girl! Here, let me pick you up and drop you off at my bed! Hahaha! Girl recovers fast, in a few hours you will be good as new."

"Auchee... hurts everything... please be gentle Bill."

But Bill was a rough beast, he ignored the girl and grabbed her like she was a toy doll, drop her on his shoulder, and went back inside the cave. 

He lay her on his bed and said, "Heh! Girl, only the first day of training, and it's already getting fun. This is going to be a long time till we are ready to tackle that castle ruins, so you better get ready... because I'm going to pound you really hard, in this coming time."
