Guild Master Wara listened intently to Suzuka's proposal, his expression stoic behind the tinted sunglasses. When Suzuka concluded her pitch, a silence lingered briefly before Wara leaned back in his chair, folding his arms. His deep, commanding voice cut through the air as he began asking a series of pointed questions, revealing a skeptical yet strategic mindset.

"Helen, your vision is ambitious, but ambition alone doesn't guarantee success. Valerius is on board, you say. What assurances do I have that he won't change his mind or that the arrangement won't turn into a burden for the guild?"

His gaze didn't waver as he continued. 

"You talk of unity between races, but we both know such things are easier said than done. How do you plan to navigate the complexities of race relations, especially when dealing with creatures like goblins?"

Wara's questions delved deeper into the practicalities of Suzuka's vision.

 "Reserving the rights for my guild to have the first branch is a tempting offer, but what guarantees do I have that our investment will yield the returns you promise? How can you ensure that the magic boxes will be readily accessible and contribute to the guild's growth as you propose?"

His skepticism extended to the infrastructure plans. 

"Building roads to neighboring towns is no small feat. How do you plan to fund and execute such an extensive project, and what assurance do I have that the roads won't become a liability rather than an asset? And I am not even starting on the problems of negotiating the terms with the other town rulers."

Suzuka met Wara's barrage of questions with a cunning and composed demeanor, each response crafted to address his concerns and foster confidence in her vision.

"Guild Master, believe me. Valerius will hold his end of the deal, we agreed on that. We've established a solid agreement, and I'll ensure it remains mutually beneficial. He will be responsible for all of the paperwork, permission, and negotiations. Also, I propose a binding contract that outlines our commitments and responsibilities, providing a legal foundation for our partnership. This way, we're both protected and clear on the terms."

She shifted to the topic of race relations, maintaining her sly yet diplomatic tone.

 "Unity between races is indeed a challenge, but challenges present opportunities. I plan to establish a council that includes representatives from each race and monster kin, fostering open dialogue, cooperation, and problem-solving. It won't be easy, but I believe in the power of shared goals to overcome our differences. The thing is, I am building a town from scratch and the only ones who will join are those who are supporting the idea."

Addressing the concerns about the guild branch, Suzuka leaned in with a confident smile.

 "Your guild's success is my success, Guild Master. The magic boxes will be strategically placed within the town's protective wall, and Valerius will be the head of the MIS branch in my town. He will oversee the magic boxes and all the related business. Since you two are friends, I only assume you will get a favor or two from him. Furthermore, I'll personally oversee the implementation of the plan, ensuring that it aligns with the guild's operational needs and ensures growth."

Regarding the infrastructure projects, Suzuka leaned back, a twinkle in her eye.

 "Funding the roads won't be an issue. I've secured an earth mage who will help me to provide all the necessary construction materials. As for execution, I will use all of the goblins who will be saved from the breeding farms. They will help me build the town and in return, they will have their own Goblin district to live in. I will provide them with shelter and protection. Now I know, you probably think that goblins are dimwits and I'm out of my mind leaving the construction to the goblins but I will assemble a skilled team to oversee the goblins working on the construction. With their expertise and proper management, the town and the roads will not only be an asset but also a testament to the prosperity of my town."

Guild Master Wara's skepticism began to waver as Suzuka's responses resonated with a sense of assurance and cunning strategy. The mention of a binding contract and the standing agreement with Valerius, a known and trusted acquaintance, played a pivotal role in easing Wara's initial reservations.

He leaned back, his expression thoughtful as he considered Suzuka's words. The idea of a haven for goblins and the potential for unity among races struck a chord within him. What assurances can you provide, and what do you expect in return from the guild?" Wara's voice, though still firm, now held a hint of curiosity as he explored the potential of a partnership that, despite its risks, seemed to hold promise.

"Guild Master Wara, to kickstart this ambitious project, I'll need financial support. I'm well aware that funding such a venture is no small matter, and I'm here to propose a partnership in which the guild contributes to the initial funding."

She paused briefly, assessing Wara's reaction, before continuing.

 "Now, as for the terms of our partnership, I propose a mutual agreement. The guild will have the exclusive right to establish the first branch in the town, strategically positioned to capitalize on the traffic and commerce it's set to attract. Your adventurers will handle escort missions on the newly constructed roads, generating profits and job opportunities. In return, the guild would contribute a fair share to the town's maintenance through a modest tax on the generated revenue."

Guild Master Wara considered Suzuka's proposal carefully before responding with a hint of disappointment.

 "Helen, I appreciate the ambition and vision behind your plan. However, given our current financial commitments and projects, I regret to inform you that I cannot provide direct financial support at this time."

He leaned forward, his tone earnest.

 "That being said, I believe I can offer a different form of support that might prove equally valuable. The guild can lend you the use of our magic-powered four-wheelers. Transportation of goblins, manpower, and resources is a significant challenge, and having access to our vehicles will clear those costs. You won't need to worry about spending a fortune on transportation fees, as we'll provide the means to move people and materials efficiently between towns and the construction site."

Wara continued, outlining the practical benefits of this alternative form of support.

 "This way, you can focus your resources on the construction itself, and the guild can contribute to the success of your venture through practical means. What are your thoughts on this alternative, Helen?"

Suzuka took a moment to absorb Wara's alternative offer. While the initial disappointment of not securing direct financial support lingered, a spark of realization lit up in her eyes. She quickly realized the practical value of Wara's alternative offer. She paused, considering the implications, and then responded with a measured nod.

"Guild Master Wara, though direct funds would have been better, I see the value in your alternative offer. Using the guild's magic-powered four-wheelers will eliminate transportation costs, letting me invest more in the construction. I accept and appreciate the guild's contribution to this endeavor."

As word spreads about your ambitious project, there will be those who see an opportunity for profit, and not all of them will have good intentions. Bandits and unscrupulous individuals may try to take advantage of the construction site. With the guild providing protection, they'll think twice before attempting any misconduct."

He continued with a note of caution in his tone, "However, it's essential to be aware that we can't offer free protection against the monsters that inhabit the lands surrounding your construction site. Those threats will require a different approach. I trust you'll take the necessary precautions to deal with the challenges posed by the wild creatures and monsters in the area."

Suzuka, maintaining her confident demeanor, acknowledged Wara's assurance with a nod of gratitude.

 "Thank you, Guild Master. I appreciate the guild's backing. Rest assured, I have plans in place to deal with any troublesome individuals who might think of causing harm during the project."

She looked Wara in the eye, her tone serious, "As for the monsters in the surrounding lands, you need not worry. I'll be the protector of this town, and I have a few friends in mind who are more than capable of dealing with any of the creatures. We'll ensure a secure and efficient construction process."

Guild Master Wara, in response to Suzuka's reassurances, offered a calm nod. 

"Very well, Helen. I appreciate your confidence and the thorough consideration you've put into this project. It's clear to me that you have a plan in place. The guild stands ready to provide the support you need, just tell me when and we will be ready to support you."

He leaned back in his chair, a subtle yet approving smile on his face. 

"As you move forward, keep me informed of any developments or changes in the plan. Communication is key to a successful partnership. If there's anything you require, don't hesitate to reach out."

Suzuka responded with a polite nod, "Thank you, Guild Master. I appreciate the guild's support, and I look forward to a successful collaboration. If there are any changes in my plans I will keep you informed."
