Chapter 59 Dr. Jenkins

The young man, mustering up his courage and greeted her with a nervous smile. "Hello there, my name is David," he said, trying his best to sound confident. "I am a fellow adventurer, or well, I hope to be one soon. Oh, I apologize if I made an assumption. Are you here just to renew your license? If so, I am sorry for jumping to conclusions." He chuckled nervously, ruffling his hair. "I just registered today early this morning. I don't know anyone here yet, it's my first day and I'm trying to make some connections." David's voice was friendly and eager.(Author note, lol you sure did show her confidence, buddy. I was sarcastic.)   With a cool, unyielding gaze, Suzuka said, "So, you're David?" she said with a hint of derision in her voice. "I've just registered myself, under the name of Helen. I couldn't help but notice you've been gawking at me since I stepped foot into this building. Do you mind explaining yourself?" Her tone was harsh, almost condescending, and David felt overwhelmed by her commanding presence.

David stammered, searching for the right words to say. "I-I'm sorry," he stammered. "I didn't mean to stare, it's just that you're... well, you're very... striking." He struggled to maintain eye contact with her, feeling as if he was being judged by her every move.

Suzuka looked at David with a raised eyebrow, her expression filled with disdain. "Striking?" she repeated, her tone laced with cynicism. "I suppose you could describe it that way if you're being generous." She continued, her voice carrying an air of superiority. "Let me make this clear to you, David. My appearance may be impressive, but it's nothing compared to the force of my presence. Don't make the mistake of underestimating me just because of my looks."

David felt overwhelmed by Suzuka's commanding presence. Her words seemed to reverberate through the room, and he felt as if he was being scolded by a powerful and mighty figure. Despite her mean tone, he couldn't help but be in awe of her confidence and poise. 

Adventurers sitting close by could barely hold their laughter in as they looked at how the young man was spoked by the woman.

Almost half of everyone gathered got their checkup done and left for the review room when suddenly doors slammed open. Dr. Jenkins stormed out of his office, his frustration palpable as he bellowed in the hallway. "Oh for fuck sake! Why in the world wasn't I informed sooner that we have a goddamn box power user among us? This is unacceptable!" His voice echoed down the corridor as he pointed towards his office. "Get your ass in here, dum ass, now! Box power users don't have to waste their time in line! And for heaven's sake, close the door behind you!" Done with his tantrum he walked inside his office leaving doors open.

His outburst caused heads to turn and whispers to break out among the gathered individuals. With a final huff, Dr. Jenkins retreated back into his office, leaving the door open as if daring anyone to question his authority. The previously calm atmosphere was now filled with tension and confusion, as people tried to make sense of the doctor's outburst.

As Suzuka stepped into the office and shut the door behind her, two of the adventurers present could no longer contain their mirth and erupted into raucous laughter, pointing and laughing at the young man, David. One of them, still chuckling, spoke up, "Buahhahhah! Hey! young man! How did that go? Bhahhaha! Attention everyone! We have a badass over here! Bhahahah! Playaaa! Hahahh."

David got mad at the adventurers that were laughing at him and asked, "What is so funny, I just wanted to ask her for diner, maybe."

As the laughter between the two adventurers abruptly died, their expressions shifted from mirth to sober intensity. One of them, breaking the silence, spoke up and said, "Kid, we all saw Olivia kiss this woman just today, not long ago. Last week you tried to get it on with Olivia herself. Now, look buddy, I may not be a big city detective but even I can tell, she's Olivia's woman," Adventurer struggles to hold a serious face but bursts into laughter, "And here you are, trying to pass a move on her. Bhahahahha! Buddy, if Olivia finds out, you better run fast, bra hahaha!" But their fun got interrupted.

Dr. Jenkins slammed his doors open and poked his head out while shouting, "Shut the fuck up, or get a hell out of here. You goddamn useless bunch! If I hear a single peep from you lot! I will fail all of your dumbasses! Is that clear? Good!" Without waiting for an answer he closed the door.  

   Dr. Jenkins strode to his table, where Suzuka was waiting and took a seat across from her. He leaned forward and, with a refined and noble tone, began speaking. "My sincerest apologies for my previous behavior," he said. "I had no notion that someone as exquisite as yourself was surrounded by individuals as uncivilized as them. Had I known earlier, I would have approached you with the utmost respect and deference." The doctor's words were smooth and suave, delivered with the finesse of a seasoned gentleman. His eyes twinkled with admiration as he gazed at Suzuka, his apology genuine and sincere.

Suzuka took a better look at Dr. Jenkins, he was a middle-aged man with a friendly face and greying hair. He had kind, intelligent eyes behind a pair of wire-rimmed glasses, and his face was etched with lines from years of laughter and experience.

 He was of average height, with a slightly rounded belly, and dressed in a crisp, white lab coat over his clothes. Despite his professional appearance, Dr. Jenkins had a warm and approachable demeanor, and his smile was quick and genuine, making those around him feel at ease. 

He carried himself with confidence, his years of expertise evident in the way he carried himself, exuding a sense of knowledge and wisdom. He looked like a different person just a minute ago as he gave hell to adventurers outside.

Suzuka paused briefly before responding to Dr. Jenkins, "It's alright, I just want to get this check-up over with so I can move on to the next part." Dr. Jenkins nodded politely, "Yes, of course. Let's get started then." He then proceeded to explain the details of the medical check-up to Suzuka, outlining what was going to be involved in the examination.

He made sure to explain everything in detail so that she was fully informed about the process.

The check-up consisted of the following procedures, "First, physical examination - Examination of your body, checking your pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs. I have to warn you, this will involve me touching you, do I have your verbal and written consent to that?" Doctor added.

Suzuka nodded and said with a chuckle, "Yes, sure. How else you will check on me."

The doctor continued, "I will have to check for any underlying health conditions and to monitor your overall health status. Such as checking for any injuries, fractures, trauma, and such. This will involve me touching you. Just a warning."

"Jeez Doc... what's with the warnings, just do what you need to do and be done with it," Suzuka said with a smile.  

 "I am almost done with the introduction, we will begin shortly," Jenkins continued, "Next is vision and hearing tests - The tests to check your eyesight and hearing abilities. And last I will need to ask about some of your prior illnesses and injuries."

"I never had serious injuries or illnesses, the common cold was the worst illness I had," Suzuka answered right away. 

Dr. Jenkins recorded the information in his journal and then addressed Suzuka, "We'll begin with a hearing and vision test. Please step over to that line," he gestured towards a line on the floor in front of a board displaying small pictures.

Suzuka's vision was impeccable, much to Dr. Jenkins' satisfaction, and he continued with the hearing test. To the doctor's delight, Suzuka's hearing was also excellent. The doctor noted these results in his journal, impressed with Suzuka's exceptional senses.

The doctor reached for a plain white patient's uniform on the table, presenting it to Suzuka. "I need to perform a thorough physical examination," he explained. "Please take a moment to disrobe and change into this uniform." Suzuka nodded her agreement, before making her way behind the curtained partition.

Suzuka removed her protective gear and weapons, before slipping into the plain white patient's uniform. She emerged from behind the curtain, ready for her examination, as the doctor waited patiently. 

The physician gestured for Suzuka to recline on the examination table, and she obliged, lying down as instructed. Dr. Jenkins carefully and expertly tended to Suzuka, kneading away her tension and stress with his skilled hands. 

He began at her neck, working out the knots with gentle pressure, before moving down to her shoulders and arms. He used a mixture of long strokes and circular motions to loosen tight muscles, paying close attention to her breathing and comfort levels, carefully observing her.

As he touches her back, Dr. Jenkins expertly worked out any kinks, his hands gliding smoothly over her skin. He made sure to pay special attention to her spine, ensuring that it was properly aligned and free of tension. The doctor started by touching her lower back, working his way slowly up and down her spine. 

He used his fingertips to apply gentle pressure to her muscles, working out any knots or tension that he found. As he worked, Suzukas's breathing deepened, and she let out a contented sigh.

The doctor then moved his hands to her shoulders, kneading the muscles there with his skillful and strong hands. He took his time, using just the right amount of pressure to loosen up the tight knots and release the tension. Suzuka let out another sigh, this one a bit deeper than the last.

Dr. Jenkins continued his "physical examination", working his way down each of Suzuka's arms, paying extra attention to any areas that seemed especially tense. He used long, flowing strokes to soothe her muscles and increase blood flow. She was completely relaxed by this point, her breathing slow and deep.

Next, the doctor moved down to her legs, using his strong hands to alleviate any discomfort and stiffness. He worked from her feet, up her calves, and all the way to her thighs, leaving no area untouched.

He began by gently rubbing her legs, applying firm but soothing pressure to her muscles. He worked his way up to her thighs, kneading and soothing the tense areas with his skilled hands. He used a combination of long strokes, circular movements, and targeted pressure to work out any knots or tension in her muscles.

The doctor continued fondling, paying special attention to her legs and thighs, using his hands to work out any lingering tension and restore circulation to the area.

Suzuka let out a soft sigh of relief as Dr. Jenkins's hands worked their magic, her body relaxing and unwinding under his touch. The room was quiet, except for the sound of her gentle breathing and the occasional pop or crack from her muscles being loosened.
