Page 75 of By Invitation Only
Peyton:Like what we do at Sensation. In bed. On my kitchen counter.
My smiled widened.
Me:So she knows about me?
Peyton:Of course. She’s my best friend, but I haven’t told her details.
Me:I wouldn’t mind.
Peyton:Seriously?
Me:If you trust her, so do I.
“Are you going to be on your phone all night, or are you going to walk over there?”
I looked up to see Randy glaring at me. “I can’t go up to her. Someone might see.”
“Dude, you two have cases against each other. No one will think you’re fucking each other. They’ll just assume you’re being cordial.”
“Go find a bird and piss off,” I said as I read the reply text from Peyton.
Peyton:She doesn’t need to know details. Though she has bought me four drinks in hopes I’ll spill.
Me:Are you drunk?
I saw her laugh and text back.
Peyton:A little buzzed.
Me:Are you wearing knickers?
She laughed again.
Peyton:Wouldn’t you like to know?
Her friend came back, and I groaned inwardly. Our texting was just getting good. I continued anyway.
Me:If I ran my hand between your legs, would I feel your wet pussy or cotton?
Peyton looked at her friend and then back to her mobile.
Peyton:Cotton, but I’m wearing jeans, so there’s that.
Aw, yes, casual Friday. I couldn’t wait to see the denim hug every curve of her arse. The arse that I wanted to grab a fistful of as I plowed into her.
Me:Would you go in the vodka room with me only wearing the fur coat so I could find out for sure?
I saw her mouth drop open as she read my text. Her friend was trying to see the screen, but Peyton turned, hiding it.
Peyton:Yes, if you were here.
I didn’t need more of an invitation than that. “I’ll be back,” I said to Randy and walked over to where Peyton was. Without her seeing me, I got behind her and whispered into her ear, “Then do it, gorgeous.”
She startled, her back falling against my chest. I didn’t want to move away from the contact. I wanted to lean down and kiss her neck followed by her luscious pink lips. But I held her up with my hand and stepped back.
She turned, met my eyes and said, “What are you doing here?”
I didn’t know who was around because I hadn’t been paying attention, so to be safe I replied, “Going totastevodka in the tasting room.”
