“Fine, how about this? For every right answer I get while we practice, you take off a piece of clothing.”
“And every wrong answer?”
“I take off clothing.”
“I think you’ll benefit either way by doing that.” I could hear the smile in her voice, and I realized I was grinning so wide that my cheeks were hurting.
“I think we’ll both benefit, baby.”
“You’re so naughty.”
“Only when I’m around you. You should see me at work. I don’t take shit from anyone.”
“Oh, I remember. I’m glad I’m not really against you anymore.”
“I wish you were pressed against me right now,” I countered.
“Yeah, stupid holidays.”
“What are you wearing?”
I heard her shout in laughter. “Are you trying to have phone sex with me?”
“Yes,” I deadpanned.
“Well, I’m wearing—nothing.”
“Liar.” I laughed.
“What are you wearing?”
“Nothing,” I stated.
“Liar.”
“It’s the truth. You know I sleep naked.”
“Are you hard?”
“Yes.” I spoke the fucking truth. This woman made me hard almost twenty-four-seven it seemed.
“Touch yourself.”
And then I did…
I felt like a complete douche. I didn’t get a single person a Christmas gift, and they each got me multiple things. My people were good, and I’d fucked them. Despite their protests, as soon as stores were open on the twenty-sixth, I was going shopping. Then Amelia and her family came over, and I was again the arsehole, but thanks to my wife, it appeared I’d at least gotten the children something.
“So, when do I get to meet her?” Amelia asked as she sat on our living room floor playing with the toys Carrie had bought for the kids.
“Who?” I asked even though I knew she was talking about Peyton. Amelia looked toward Carrie, and I rolled my eyes. “You really do have a big mouth,” I said, looking at Carrie.
Carrie tsked. “Please. It’s not a big deal. Plus, I’m a woman. That’s what we do.”
“She’s quite lovely,” Mum interjected.
“Carrie has told me the same,” Amelia agreed.
I looked to Amelia’s husband, Mark, silently asking for his help with these women. He shrugged and looked away.Jerk!
