I told Ashley I was all in and that he was mine up on that mountain, but I think he's finally understanding how serious I was that night.

It's been a couple of weeks since our first date, and the longest we've been away from each other is our respective shifts for work.

We've stayed together every night and have gotten to know each other really well.

Hell, the little shit might have even convinced me to adopt the sweet little girl I bonded with when I helped the puppies I’d rescued.

Let's be honest, I didn't take much convincing.

I was already thinking about adopting her.

Having Ashley help me with her and her training made the decision that much easier.

The first week or so of staying together was pretty rocky as far as my mental health goes.

I didn't have any night terrors the first few nights, which was a blessing that I knew wouldn't last. I’d warned Ashley about how bad they could get, but it wasn't until he experienced one firsthand that he got a glimpse of what life with me could be like.

That evening, over dinner, we had a pretty extensive talk about my PTSD and all the micro issues that go along with it, like the night terrors, social anxiety, and even hallucinations that can happen when certain things—like fireworks—trigger me.

I didn't want to deep dive, but the little shit made me and even went so far as to take notes.

After dredging everything up, I had one of my worst nights in a long time where my night terrors were concerned.

After the third one, I eventually called it quits on sleep for the night and started my day before dawn.

The next night, we reconvened over dinner.

This time, it was so we could come up with a plan of attack, per Ashley's request. I broke down when I saw how much research he had done over the day, from coping techniques, different therapies, and the best medications to how to train a dog to become a service dog for someone with PTSD.

Even though Raven has been by my side since I came home, I finally felt like someone was walking with me through this battle.

I got a new therapist and started some different medications that really seem to help. I still have a long-ass road ahead of me, but I'm way more optimistic than I've been since my accident, and I've got Ashley to thank for that.

He's been my rock, and my shining light through the dark days and the heavy topics that have wanted to pull me under. I wonder every day why he chose me but am damn grateful that he has.

Since he's been so focused on me, I thought I could surprise him with a date tonight.

Raven came up for the day, to hang out and meet Ashley, but also to help me surprise my queen with an "epic date night in”.

Tilly promised to keep Ashley away from the apartment for the afternoon, so I was able to get everything ready and surprise him when he gets home, which should be any second.

"Bear, I'm ho— Whoa! What did you do to the place?"

"Hi, sweetheart. Raven helped me after we all got done with lunch. The past few weeks have been crazy and heavily focused on me, so tonight is all about you, with me taking care of you and showing you how much I appreciate you. Welcome to our date night in." I lean in and kiss Ashley sweetly.

The little brat tightens his hold around my neck as his tongue plunges into my mouth.

I pull back and swat his ass. "Behave. I promise we'll get to that, but let me treat you and take care of you a little bit first."

"Okay. Can I change and shower real quick?"

"Shower? Yes. Wash your hair? No."

"Fine." He sticks his tongue out then skips to his room.

I should be finishing up dinner, but I can't help but follow him towards his bathroom, not wanting to miss his reaction to the candles and the bubble bath I have waiting for him.

"Baby! This is fucking perfect! "

I can't hide my chuckle as I watch Ash jump up and down. "Good. Relax for a bit while I finish up dinner. There's a new robe for you." I nod to the counter. "And your favorite wine there."

"Thanks, Bear."

I head out to the kitchen and wrap up the rest of our dinner. Raven helped me set the living room up so that we could have the coziest romantic picnic there ever was. It's a little much for me, but I know Ashley will love it.

I'm just lighting the last candle when his sparkly pink toes come into my view.

Slowly, my eyes trail up his smooth legs to the pink silk robe that skims the top of his thighs.

My cock hardens in my jeans as a groan rumbles in my throat.

Ashley's hard cock is tenting the smooth fabric, making my mouth water.

"Fuck it." My control snaps as I trail my fingers up Ash's thighs and slide the robe apart.

My left side is screaming in pain, the old injury flaring, but I can't be bothered with a naked Ashley ripe for my taking. This was not part of my plan, but sometimes, plans need to pivot. Without a second thought, I grasp Ashley in my hand and lick him from base to tip.

"Mmm, yes, Talon." His hands thread in my hair as I set an unrelenting pace.

I relax my throat and hollow out my cheeks as I suck his length.

One hand works his balls while the other finds his tight hole.

It's sensation overload, and within minutes, Ashley is spilling his cum down my throat.

I lap up every drop, adjust his robe, and then help him to the floor to enjoy our dinner.

"Damn, Bear. I could really get used to this whole ‘you taking care of me’ deal."

"Good. ’Cause I plan on doing just that for a long-ass time."
