Two Weeks Later

W e’re piled into the living room of The Wolves Den. The NFL draft plays on the big screen and the mystery girl from the Howler Report is in the corner, recording our reactions for the students and locals to enjoy.

The excitement in the room is palpable as we wait to see which round Graham will be picked in.

Grabbing onto Bellamy’s hips, I whisper, “You better stop wiggling that ass all over my lap right here, or we’re going to miss my cousin’s draft.”

Of course, with that, she grinds down onto my hardening cock. “My bedroom may be under construction, but don’t think I won’t find a spot, maybe even right here. Don’t tempt me, roomie.”

Bellamy quirks her eyebrow at me. “Not roomies yet. You still have to make more space for me and my cowgirl boots.”

I kiss her shoulder, right where her sweater has fallen off, showing her soft skin. “I’ll make sure you have all the room you need, Bella.”

“I know.” She bops on my lap before returning her focus to the TV.

Thankfully, our parents agreed to the new roommate situation without hesitation prior to the PI finding out her father had moved to Oregon with no attempts of even looking her mother up.

But even with her safety assured, they didn’t try to backtrack on their decision.

Of course, Bellamy was more worried about that than me.

Since Graham and Nate are moving out, we had two rooms become available. After finding out Darby was going to move into the basketball girls’ house, Berkley and Bellamy decided to make a change too.

Bellamy and I figured it didn’t make sense for her to have her own room, since we’ll stay together every night.

The only way she agreed to move in here is if we allowed for another girl to move in.

Hence why Nate’s baby sister is moving into his old room for her freshmen year.

And then, the only other guy I knew we could all get along with and trust around our girls was Hud, so he’ll take over Graham’s room.

The tone on ESPN changes, and we all tune in, knowing another pick is about to be announced.

“The 12 th pick in the 2025 draft… New Orleans Phantoms pick Graham Leblanc Tight End, Mountain Ridge University.”

The living room erupts into cheers as the camera shows Graham with our family surrounding him. Gigi and Papaw flew out to be with Graham and his parents for the draft.

“Bro went in the first round… That’s crazy!” Maverick yells.

“Nola, looks like you’re going to be showing us around your hometown soon,” Bellamy says.

“Let’s gooooo!” He fist bumps her enthusiastically.

We all continue to celebrate, the camera girl capturing every second of it.

Berkley walks over to the Howler girl after we all settle down and grabs a stack of envelopes from her.

“So, this is a special edition Howler Report, made just for y’all.”

Bellamy’s head snaps to Berkley’s, her eyes boring a thousand questions into her best friend.

“Just open and you’ll see.”
