“Moon,” I whisper to Linc. He slams his hand on the buzzer.

“Lincoln?”

“Moon.”

“Correct. You may pick the next question,” Saylor smiles at us.

“Disney for two hundred,” I say loudly. Some of the girls snicker. The guys just look down.

“What the hell?” Linc rolls his eyes.

“What Disney princess has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?” London asks.

Mallory buzzes in as does Snow.

“Sorry, Snow, Mallory was quicker,” London says.

“Snow White,” Mallory winks at Snow, who blushes.

“Correct.”

“Rodeo for two hundred,” Mason snorts.

“How many judges are there in bull riding?” Saylor asks as Linc slams the buzzer.

“Linc?”

“Four.”

“Correct. You may pick again.”

“History for two hundred.”

This will be an easy category for me as rodeo is for him. I just want to close out the category.

“When was the Declaration of Independence signed?”

I slam the buzzer, not even waiting for them to acknowledge me. “July Fourth, Seventeen Seventy-Six.”

“Correct. Pick again,” London chuckles.

“History for four hundred,” I tell him as I ready to hit the buzzer.

“Who is the Greek god of the underworld?”

“Hades,” I yell out.

“Correct,” Saylor gestures to the board.

For about an hour, it’s between Mallory and Mason and Lincoln and myself. I can see the glares from the other teams, other than Snow or Dayton. Snow and Jimmy are doing well. Dayton looks a little uncomfortable with Lily and they don’t have points. She keeps glaring at Dayton when she gets a question wrong. I’ve heard her make snide comments to him, saying he’s just a dumb jock.

“Sports for four hundred dollars,” I say.

“Who was known as the people’s champion?”

“Muhammad Ali,” Jimmy yells.

“Correct,” Saylor grins.
