LENNOX
A scream tore from my throat as Luka’s tongue speared me.
Goddess above he was a fucking tease. My body was coiled tight, my release having been kept at bay for too long. My hips jolted off the bed, my heels digging into Luka’s back as his tongue moved. He sucked at my clit at the same time he thrust his fingers back inside me.
I tugged against the restraints binding my hands above. I wanted to touch him. My fingers itched to run my hands through his hair and tug.
I’d experimented a lot in all my sexual adventures, but never had I trusted someone enough to let them have control and tie me up.
Until Luka.
As much as I loved being in control, it turns out I equally enjoy giving it up to Luka.
In certain circumstances.
Being tied up while he had his mouth between my legs was one of those circumstances.
His fingers pumped in and out of me with force as his tongue licked and sucked at my clit.
My release barreled through me. My throat rubbing raw from the scream that escaped me.
I licked my lips as I watched him bring his fingers to his mouth, licking myself from his long fingers.
“Luka, please. I need you inside me.”
His eyes were wild with desire. He had shown me control, but I knew that thread was thin. He needed his release as much as I did.
He gripped himself, running his hand up and down his cock several times causing my heart to pick up speed and my thighs to clench.
“I can’t wait another second to be inside you.”
“So don’t.”
In one breath he was inside me. I gasped as he filled me to the brim, his cock hitting so deep inside me it stole the air from my lungs.
“Stars above Lennox.” I thrust my hips in time with his movements. He leaned forward, his fangs scraping against my neck as he sucked and nipped at my skin. One hand thumbed at my breast while the other worked at my binds. The moment the tie was loosened my hands were on him, pulling him closer before bringing his lips to mine.
His hips picked up speed, the sound of skin slapping on skin and our moans filling the room as my release continued to trickle up my spine.
I protested as he pulled all the way out, my mind trying to keep up with what he had in mind next.
“Up.” His hands gripped my thighs, pulling me down the bed an inch. “On all fours.”
I rolled over, leaning on my elbows, my bare ass in the air ready and waiting for him. I looked over my shoulder at him, finding him raking his eyes over my body. I wiggled my ass slightly at him.
“What are you waiting for? ”
His eyes darkened, as he ran his hand up my spine, sending a shiver dancing through my body.
He dragged his cock through my wet center, teasing me once again before he finally pushed his way in.
I ground my ass up against him as he gripped my hips and filled me to the hilt. His thrusts were slow at first before they picked up speed. Each thrust and slap to my ass sending my release building higher and higher.
His thrust became sloppier as he chased his release.
His hand roamed between my legs, strumming my clit as he pumped inside me.
With one more brutal thrust and strum at the bundle of nerves, I came, Luka coming with me, his release filling me.
I let myself fall against the pillows, my hair sticking to my sweat-soaked face. His release dripped down my thighs as he pulled out of me. I rolled onto my back as Luka fell in a heap beside me, pulling me into an embrace.
“Well, I guess we’re going to need another bath.”
I laughed. Rubbing my sticky thighs together. “You think?”
He rolled on his side, propping himself on one arm so his face was framed by the golden rays of morning light behind him.
“Or maybe you skip the bath. I like the idea of you walking around all day with my cum dried on your thighs.” He leaned forward, nipping at my ear. “Then everyone would know you’re mine.”
I shivered. If we didn’t have so much to attend to, I might give into his idea. But walking around all day painted with his cum while I talked to the neighboring royals sounded like a bad idea.
Terrible idea.
It would take all my self-control in the first place to keep my hands off of him. I didn’t need that reminder too.
I ran a finger down his chest. “Another time.”
“I’ll hold you to that. ”
“Until then we’ll have to find another way to mark you as mine.”
“You don’t need to, Sweetheart. Everyone already knows.”
A while later, both of us cleaned up and dressed, Luka and I made our way from our room in search of everyone else. I was surprised no one had come looking for us during our morning wake-up—hopefully, that meant everyone was catching up on their sleep.
Luka pulled me towards the kitchen, but I stopped him. “Can we stop in the dining room first?” He hesitated, the concern evident in his eyes.
“Are you sure?”
“I need to see it.”
“Okay.” We made our way silently to the dining room, my stomach twisting in knots with every step closer we took. The doors were shut when we arrived. I took a deep breath before pushing open the double golden doors.
The room looked the same as when we left it last night. That felt like days ago. Someone had used magic, it looked like a combination of earth and ice magic—to roughly seal the broken windows. Vines and trees wound through the broken panes with ice frozen in between the cracks, creating a makeshift wall. Light filtered in fractures through the panels of ice. I would have thought it was beautiful if I didn’t know the circumstances behind the structure.
If Dhampirs hadn’t created the hole in the first place, leaving a trail of ruined bodies in its wake.
Beads of shattered glass still littered the floor, dried blood flaking on the floor in dried splatters and rivets. One of the tables lay in shards as if someone was slammed down in the middle.
There were several large pools of dried blood on the floor. At least someone had removed the bodies that had once laid in them.
“I need to find someone to clean this up.”
“There are more important things than getting this room cleaned up right now.”
Luka was right, but my eyes fixed on the dried pools of blood where a body once lay, the thinner spot of blood burning itself into my mind. I needed it gone. I wouldn’t be able to focus knowing the blood of my people who had died in my palace walls stained this floor. I needed this room cleaned up and sealed off. I didn’t want to step foot in here for a long time. Or ever again.
And the people—where had they been put? Did we know who they were? Had their families been contacted? I’d go tell them myself if they hadn’t been told already. Where were their families? Had they been here too? Or were they waiting at home, wondering where their loved one had gone?
Luka tugged at my hand. “Let’s go find someone, maybe there will be someone in the kitchen. We can eat and get everything sorted out, but you need food.”
My body was numb as I let him lead me from the room. I hadn’t eaten since yesterday afternoon before the ceremony and my stomach gnawed with hunger.
He put his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his side. “You did everything right last night, remember that. There’s nothing you could have done to prevent what happened.”
I let out a deep sigh, some of the tension leaving my shoulders. “I know,” I forced myself to say. Every instinct in my body screamed to blame myself—to let myself bear the burden of the lives taken last night. But Luka was right. There was nothing I could have done to prevent the events from last night.
Still, the losses weighed heavy on my soul.
I sat on a stool in the kitchen, having finished eating the breakfast Luka had insisted upon. He dismissed the staff we found in the kitchen, asking them where to find a few things before asking them to leave and find someone to clean up the dining room.
Eventually, Gulia found us.
“Your Majesties! There you are!”
“Good morning, Gulia.” Luka greeted the female.
“Sir Declan has been looking for you. I told him if I found you I would send you to the study to find him.”
Luka and I shared a look. “Let’s go.”
We quickly made our way to my study, finding Declan and Luce sitting in the armchairs.
“The newlyweds finally made it out of bed I see,” Luce sing-songed.
I rolled my eyes. “We’ve been up for hours.”
“Exactly,” Declan added dryly. I gaped at the harpy, his dark hair was pulled back today, accentuating his chiseled face.
“I expect those kinds of comments from Luce and Nico, but from you Declan?” I clicked my tongue but he said nothing.
“He’s tired of us already,” Luka whispered as we sat on the couch.
I smiled before turning my attention back to the group. “What have you found out this morning?” I looked at Delcan.
“Not much more than we heard last night, Luce was filling me in on the events that happened here.”
“My mother found me last night before I made it to my room and gave me an update. Everyone she and Endora questioned were innocent, nothing she was able to get out of them connected them to the poisoning or the Dhampir attack. With the exception of the ones they found trying to sneak away. She assumed they caught on to what she was doing and tried to escape before they were questioned. They claimed they didn’t have anything to do with the Dhampirs, but the poison was another story. ”
“And those are the ones being kept in the dungeon?” Luka asked.
Luce took a sip of her drink. “They are ready and waiting for your direction.”
“And the innocent people? What is the status on them?”
“Some decided to go back to their homes last night after being questioned, others stayed here through the night. My mother and Endora were checking in with them again this morning to figure out their next steps.”
“Good.” Knowing my people were safe lessened some of the tension wracking my body. “We will have to make sure and check up on them later, make sure they are still all doing well and that no one has any lingering injuries.”
“I’m sure my mother and Endora would be willing to check up on them.”
“I need to.” I needed my people to know I cared about them.
“I know it’s important to you, but you have a lot of other things to concern yourself with, let them help,” Luce insisted.
“Luciana is right.” Luka placed his hand gently on my thigh. “What if Caterina goes and checks on everyone today and she can let them know you will stop by later this week, once everything is settled around here.”
“Fine,” I conceded. I didn’t like having to wait, but I had so much to attend to.
“We have some traitors to interrogate anyways, don’t we?”
