Page 151 of Pack Choice
“Yes, I’m in love with you Molly – fuck it’s hard not to be. But this is more than that. Colt and me, we should always have been in a pack together, we just lost our way somehow.”
“And Ford?” I ask, stroking the man’s arm, noting the way his jaw tightens.
“I thought he was a dickhead at first,” Colt says.
“The feeling was mutual,” Ford mutters.
“But he’s grown on me. There aren’t many alphas I seem able to get along with, but Ford here is the exception. In fact, I’d go as far as to say I enjoy his goddamn company.”
“And watching him fuck you,” River whispers into my ear, making me shiver.
“So,” I say, grabbing a hold of Colt and River and dragging them in closer so I’m sandwiched between all three alphas – jeez, a girl could get used to a sandwich like this! “Are you telling me, all three of you are now coming round to the idea of a pack? Or to be more precise, a pack with me?”
“Yes.”
“And Harper? She’ll want to be in this pack too?”
Colt nuzzles my ear. “Are we going to get to make babies in this pack?”
“Uh huh,” I say, already a little dizzy with the idea.
“Then she’s going to be over the moon. She’s been bugging me for a little brother or sister ever since she learned to talk.”
“Is this really happening?” I whisper. It seems too good to be true, wanting something so badly and having it delivered straight into my arms.
“Yes, sweetheart, it is, and I think the only way I could ever have been persuaded to consider the idea of a pack again was if you were in it,” Colt says, kissing the top of my head.
“Ditto,” River says, and I give him a look, “okay, maybe I was always more pro-pack than this one,” he says, jerking his chin in Colt’s direction. “But it was always going to take a girl like you to tempt me.”
“A girl like me?” I say rolling my eyes, “funky smelling, with a sharp tongue and the tendency to get herself kidnapped.”
“A girl who smells so good I’m dribbling like a starved dog all day long. A girl who’s determined and tenacious and turns me on every time she speaks her mind. A girl who gets herself in trouble and needs her alphas to come fish her out.”
“So, you will fish me out the next time I do land myself in trouble?”
“Depends,” Colt says darkly.
“On what?”
“Are you feeling grateful, sweetheart?”
“Extremely,” I say, having a fair idea where this is headed.
“Want to show us how grateful you are?”
And I doubt he has any idea how much I do. Except maybe I’m wrong about that because in the next moment, I’m being mauled by three very hungry alphas and I’m finding it hard to believe this can be true.
Yet it is. Pack. I’ve finally found my pack.

River insistson taking Harper to the fanciest-looking ice cream parlor in the whole of Monte Carlo and orders her a sundae that teeters full of ice cream scoops right above her head.
He says we need to celebrate and orders the rest of us sundaes too, even Ford who tries his best to argue against it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen River so genuinely happy, almost boyish. He bounces on his seat, a big grin spread across his face, telling everyone and anyone who will listen that I’m his omega and this is his pack.
When Harper looks up from her ice cream and asks, “You’re going to be a pack? You too, Daddy?” Colt glares at him. We’d talked about how to break the news to her, and it wasn’t like this.
“Yes,” Colt tells her, not beating around the bush. “Is that okay with you? I know you don’t know Ford and Molly as well as I–”
