“Because Dominique was getting on my nerves about it. I didn’t want to go and I shouldn’t have, but shit, I did. I wasn’t there long though, baby.”
Sniffling, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss.
“You a big ass baby, bro.” He smiled against my lips.
“So,” I playfully pouted. “I don’t want you in the strip club. If you want someone to strip for you, I will.”
“Yeah?” He grinned.
“As long as the bag is right.”
“Say less.” He beamed before kissing my lips.
“No, Javyous,” I protested and pushed him off of me when I felt him trying to settle between my legs. “I picked a movie for us to watch.”
I reached over him to grab the remote, ignoring the frown that was on his face. Tonight, I just wanted us to spend some time together.
“Lani, my dick is harder than Chinese arithmetic and you want to watch a fucking movie?”
“Yes, baby,” I answered, getting comfortable in his embrace again. I smiled to myself knowing that he was really acting spoiled about us not having sex, but he would be okay. I would make it up to him later though.
“You better remember this shit.”
“Babe, stop.” I laughed when he pulled the cover off of me.
He joined me in laughter. “Aight, I’ll chill. Thank you for coming though. It means a lot that you’ll move shit around to be here for your nigga and that you set up all this shit for me tonight.”
I turned in his arms so that we were facing one another and gently pecked his lips.
“You don’t have to thank me, baby,” I replied as I stared into his eyes. “I’m supposed to do stuff for you and be here for you, I’m your wife. Plus, you didn’t make it exactly easy to turn you down either.”
I had to squeeze my thighs tighter just thinking about the things he did to me before he left home.
“I didn’t?”
“No, you didn’t.” I shook my head and bit my lip.
“I don’t recall. You mind reminding a nigga what I did to make you change your mind?”
“No, stop, the movie,” I squealed when he turned us over so that I was straddling him. Before I could say anything else he was easing inside of me.
“Fuck that movie,” he said when he was all the way in.
Yeah, fuck that movie.
Ill was an understatement for my mood when I got up the next morning.
Everything from my eyelids to my feet to my all around mood just felt heavy on top of me feeling like I was going to throw my insides up.
I was fine last night, but at about four this morning I was hugging the toilet.
I didn’t eat much other than the chicken salad right after JV’s fight, so that had to be what had me sick.
He had an interview to do before our flight back home, but I wasn’t up for staying so I had him order me a car so that I could go straight to the jet and lie down until he was done. He wasn’t with it at first, but I assured him that I would be fine until he got to me.
The flight attendant welcomed me and even had some ginger ale waiting on me when I made it to the jet courtesy of my husband, I was sure. After accepting my drink from her and letting her know that I didn’t need anything else I started for the back but was met by the creepy eyes of JV’s father.
“Excuse me.” I tried to step around him, but he moved with me.
“Kayley.” He purposely got my name wrong with a smug grin on his face.
“It’s Kehlani,” I corrected and rolled my eyes before trying to step around him. He moved with me again, causing me to frown. “What are you doing?”
“My apologies, beautiful. JV has so many women that it’s hard to keep up with the names.”
“Javyous has one woman,” I replied annoyed. I hadn’t ever had a real conversation with this man yet he was constantly weird when I was around him.
“Aww is that what you think?” he asked angling his head to the side.
“That’s what I know.”
“No baby girl, it’s what you think you know. Javyous is not now nor has he ever been a one woman man. It’s too much of a headache and hassle to be with one woman. I know that better than anyone because I raised him.”
“You raised him to be his own man which means he’s making his own decisions. I doubt that he looks at me like a hassle. Like I said, he may have been with multiple women before me, but that ship has sailed and there is a new sheriff in town.”
“If that were true then he wouldn’t have been out with Kecia when we first arrived here in Vegas now would he? If you don’t believe me, check her Instagram story.”
Again that smug smile was on his face as he finally stepped around me.
Rushing to the back of the jet to the bedroom, I closed the door, locked it, stripped out of my clothes and climbed in the bed.
I didn’t want to go look at the girl’s story from my own page, so I FaceTimed Celeste to have her do it for me.
I would have asked Jasmine to do it, but I didn’t need her asking me questions about what was going on.
“Hey, bestie.”
“Hey, girl.”
“Uh uhn, what’s wrong with you?”
“Can you go to that Kecia girl’s page and see if her and Javyous were together?”
“Huh?”
“Share your screen with me as a matter of fact.”
“Okay, hold on.” She started to do some stuff on her phone before the shared screen appeared. She went to the Instagram app then to the search bar. “What’s her name?”
“I don’t know, bitch.” I laughed. “This is your thing, not mine.”
“True, hold on.” She went to JV’s page, to his followers, then she found her.
After clicking on her story we watched in anticipation until she got to a video that had a Vegas filter on it.
My stomach twisted in knots as she clicked through them until she got to the last one where there was a video of Javyous.
He was just sitting there sipping on a drink not even paying attention, almost like he didn’t even know he was being recorded but she had a video of him.
Why didn’t he tell me that she was there yesterday?
I didn’t even have time for my thoughts to process, I heard Dominique which meant that Javyous was here as well.
I quickly rushed Celeste off of the phone and unlocked the door before sliding back into the bed.
I wanted so badly to address the situation, but I was afraid that he would do something to his father so I acted like I was asleep.
I would address everything at a later time.
