Page 61 of Breaking Sanity
“Something like that. But they tone down the mania, unlike most psychotic manic episodes they don’t add to it.”
“What medications did you take?”
Why are you telling him this?
“I am not answering that. You can ask Gunner.”
“You are smart, I’ll give you that. You seem to have some things figured out and catch on quickly. Your need tofight against every order is agitating but expected. Makes our time together difficult but fulfilling.”
“Fulfilling?”
“You aren’t immune to everything.”
I’m not going to deny that but fuck him and his psycho analyzing bullshit.
“Neither are you or your brothers, Baron.”
“Do explain.” His voice is closer, so I creep further back in the room. Well, I think it’s backward, but I could be heading to the front of the room for all I know.
“I’ll keep that to myself.”
“Now, now.” His voice is above me. I jump and sprint away. His hand takes a grab at me but misses since I chopped my hair.
“Missed,” I huff in laughter listening to his frustrated growl.
“Are you sure about that,” he asks, pulling me back by my arm and wrapping my hair in his fist. I can feel the roots starting to tug out one by one in his tight grip.
“Fuck you,” I pant while stepping on his foot and ramming my elbow into his side. Baron releases my hair and I take off again.
I put my hands on the cold wall and take a second to catch my breath. There are two loud slaps mixed with a thud on either side of my head.
He caged me in again but what was the thud?
I slowly turn with my palms up and out to feel in front of me. The man towers over me so my hands land on his upper torso. His right hand that was on the wall is now slowly tracing the curve of my spine. My blood starts to boil and goes straight to my core adding to the unbearable ache. It only increases when I feel a tip of cold steel push up my chin.
He had a fucking knife?
That must have been the thud.
“Baron,” I sound breathless.
“Enough running.” The tip of the knife skates down my chin, to my neck, then moves to glide along my collar bone, collecting the strap of my bralette pushing it over my shoulder before it’s removed from my skin. Swiftly he spinsme around and pins my hands above my head. His front is pressing to my back.
“Do. Not. Move. I don’t want to fuck this up. You can scream, curse me, and cry but do not move.” His front leaves my back but his hand restraining mine tightens. His other hand grabs my hip and pulls me so that I am at a slight angle.
“Baron.”
“Keep your hands on the wall and arch your back. Then hold that position.” He lets go and I go to move my hand, but he slaps my ass so hard my legs almost give out. “Don’t fucking move.”
I hang my head and clench my fist to restrain myself from turning around and punching him. Whatever he has planned is going to happen one way or the other, so I choose to comply for now.
So much for not giving in?
This is how it starts and soon you’ll be crawling on your knees begging them to use your throat as a daycare drop off.
I stare at the ground, trying to ignore the voices. Suddenly there is a light that illuminates my feet. I cock my head in curiosity when I feel him grab my hip painfully and the cold steel touches my skin. The next thing I know is the burning feeling erupting from where the knife was.
“Baron,” I scream in pain.
