Page 14 of Breaking Sanity
“Cool, saying random numbers explains how this gets worse. Thank you for clearing that up,” she huffs, rolling her eyes.
“4 contracts and 9 years,” I chuckle, trying to ignore her obnoxious attitude.
“What?” Her eyes widened.
There it is! Finally the reaction I was looking for. Oh I love the fear. She usually masks it in her eyes yet her body shows it. Right now, it shines in her dark amber irises and I have the urge to fuck her instead of killing her. Given how her thighs clenched when I ran the knife down her skin, I’d say she’s wet. Plus, she always loved being chased, tied down, and fucked. Those were fun times, for the most part.
“There are 4 contracts on you that got merged into one, and it adds up to 9 years,” I explain. “Meaning as you so eloquently put it 4 assholes, plural, have such a grudge against you that they hired some psychos to torture you for 9 years, not a few.”
“What,” she parrots.
“Also, I would like to say, don’t speak about my brothers in such a derogatory manner and moving forward my name isn’t really Sebastian.”
“I just call it how I see it and the second part I already knew, jackass.” She crosses her arms.
“Knock off the name calling, it just makes you sound childish,” I warn.
“You should take your own advice then,” she mumbles, which she knows pisses me off.
“A pet name is not in that category,” I respond, playfully. Can’t let her know she’s getting to me and all that. Alley is the type that once she finds that button, she smashes it like a newbie playing mortal combat.
“I’m not a pet,” she says, anger lacing her voice.
“Oh, but my Little Devil, you are my pet. I’ll get you a collar, if that will help you accept this.”
“Try to put a collar on my neck and I will gut you,” she threatens.
“Hmm,” I tap my chin, “if I remember correctly, you let me put a collar on you. A shock collar but still a collar.Hell, you even begged me too.” I side eye her, to see her cheeks flaming with embarrassment.
“Go to hell.”
“If you like, I can get you a shock collar with your name on it,” I offer, ignoring her outburst. “My brothers would love that. Shit, they’ll probably get you a leash too.”
“Try any of that, and I promise you; I’ll fucking strangle all of you with it!”
“Don’t say that to them. They would actually do it just to see if you try,” I laugh.
The thought of her trying to strangle any of my brothers with a leash is comical at best. Vaughn is 6' 5" and the man lives for the gym. Talk about bulk muscle galore. Nik, on the other hand, is 6’ 7” and a little leaner but he is trained in every mixed martial art form known to man. Baron is 6’ 8”, built like a shit brick house, and would throw her around like his favorite rag doll. He’ll already have a field day getting into her mind then add her trying to attack him, but Baron will never let her go.
The only one I would have an issue with is Carson. He can never touch her. Although, I wouldn’t mind watching her try to strangle his bitch ass.
“So you are working for The Fallen?” Alley changes the subject.
“Seriously, you said we have two hours in this car together and I have less than a decade to live with no contact to the outside world. Indulge me S-” she stops herself. “What do I call you?”
“You can call me master,” I wink. “And as for indulging you, I guess I can do that. I’ll allow you to ask 5 questions.”
“I’m not calling you Master,” she states.
“You used to when you were begging to c-”
“ENOUGH,” she shouts, cutting me off. “We are not taking a stroll down memory fucking lane!”
I jerk to the side of the road and throw the car into park. I push the hazard lights on as a car passes us. I watchthem keep going up the road, before I turn all my attention to her.
She is ballsy, because the moment our eyes connect, she lifts her chin and invades my space. The defiance sets my blood on fire. The thought of yanking her onto my lap by her throat flashes through my mind but that won’t end well.
