Gunner might like to joke around but Baron and I know how he feels about Alley. The tick in his jaw shows that he might actually punch Vaughn for insulting her.

“Vaughn stop,” I order. “Gunner drop it.”

“Yes, sir,” Gunner laughs, saluting me.

“How long,” I ask.

“A day,” Baron responds. “But I need her to go to a therapy session first.”

“Why,” Vaughn asks.

“I have something I need to figure out first, Nikolas,” Baron answers, staring admittedly at his left hand.

I got to spend a lot of time with Baron over the years, but I will never know what is going through his mind. Gunner does though. They have this weird telepathic connection even if they are a year apart.

I want to know!

“Did you have some fun with the Little Devil when I left,” Gunner smiles like the Cheshire cat. If he is going to share her with anyone, I’m not surprised it’s Baron.

“I wouldn’t call it fun, but intriguing.”

“So she did it to you too?”

“Did what,” I inquire.

“She robbed me of her orgasm,” Baron supplies.

“What? How?” Vaughn looks at me in confusion.

“She’s done it since I have known her. If she doesn’t want to cum, she flips a switch in her brain and relaxes her body to the point the tension that was building dies,” Gunner explains. “It’s fucking maddening.”

“Ah, so that is who she is. The one you have stalked for fucking years?” Vaughn finally put the pieces together. Baron must’ve known when the contracts came in, but kept that to himself. Fuck, asshole didn’t even tell me.

“There has to be a reason why she knows how to do that. It’s rare, especially when her body is so responsive.”

“Well she is your guys’ claim, so I will wait,” I sigh.

I need her to pay first!! Therapy won’t help her after I am done.

“What room is she in,” Vaughn asks.

“I paired her with your feisty cat,” Carson answers, coming up by Baron. Gunner moves to my other side away from him.

“Why?”

“She attacked Melanie. I thought if she saw what happens to cats who don’t behave, her tune might change,” Carson shrugs.

“She did what?” I look at him in awe. I know Melanie is a raging bitch to the girls but everyone knows she is mine.

She’ll pay for that!

“Melanie went to drag her out of the shower and she just attacked.”

“What did Mel say to her?” Gunner steps towards Carson.

“Mel just yelled for her to get out but she didn’t even flinch or respond. Mel barely touched her arm and Alley swung.” Carson shrugs.

“Interesting.”
