FOX. FOX. HUMAN.

“We don’t have time,” Neil said with zero conviction in his voice as I unbuckled his slacks. “They’ll be coming back soon.”
And they would. Nate and Daire had taken Charlie for a walk and it would only take so long.
“Which is why we need to hurry up.” With the buckle free, I had him unzipped quickly. “But if you don’t want my mouth wrapped around your gorgeous cock, I can stop.”
His breath hitched. Neil liked it when I talked like this. Not the dirty talk part, per se, but when I praised his looks, even if it was only a single body part like his cock. Neil didn’t see himself the way I did. He didn’t know that he could take a man’s breath away simply by walking past him.
I blamed part of that on his job. It was hard to see yourself clearly when you are always having to dress up for others. He made that part of the package he was selling.
“Look at you all long and hard for me.” I pushed his pants down past his knees. “We don’t have a lot of time. Take your shirt off for me, baby, let me see all of you.”
He hesitated for just a second and then pulled his shirt over his head. I reached up and tweaked one of his nipples, tracing a path down towards his tuft of hair, being sure that he could see how much I appreciated the view.
“You make me so hard. I’d show you how hard I am, but as you said, we don’t have much time.“ Our time crunch was half of the fun. It made it almost naughty. The idea of getting caught, rather delicious .
“I want to see,” he said, his head falling back against the wall behind him, his eyes closed. He might want to, but he knew the game we were playing. Quick and dirty and so satisfying.
“If you are really good and don’t hold back on me, I will show you. How does that sound?” I wrapped my fingers around his girth, giving him a jerk and then another.
“Yes. I won’t hold back. I won’t.”
“And I plan to make it impossible for you to do so.” I brought my mouth to his package and let out a slow breath, my hand still wrapped around him, pre-cum on his tip. I licked it off and brought my tongue into my mouth making yummy sounds. “Sooo good.”
Darting my tongue out again, I swirled it around his tip as I jerked him slowly and then brought his tip between my lips, sucked hard and then let it out with a pop as I walked my other fingers back to his slick hole. He wanted this as badly as I did, his slick was evidence of that.
“Oh, omega, you want this.”
“So much,” he panted. “So much.”
I took him into my mouth as far as I could while I breached his entrance. Sucking him in, I pulled almost all the way off, and then took him back into my mouth, this time his tip hitting the back of my throat. I went up and down, repeating my actions as I fingered his hole.
Neil’s hand came to the top of my head. He wasn’t trying to take over, to guide me at all. If anything it was like he was petting me, giving me affection, showing me that I was the person he loved and not just a vessel enveloping his cock.
In and out, in and out, my finger went, curling around and rubbing the spot inside of him that drove him to the brink each time I did. He was close, so close, his breath getting ragged, his balls pulling tight. I wanted to tell him to let go, but dare not slow down. It was only a few more trips down his cock when he was shooting cum down my throat and calling out my name.
I helped him ride out his orgasm, my phone ringing on the counter. I ignored it. This was more important. This was what my omega needed.
I slowly withdrew my finger and let him out of my mouth. “So good,” I praised. “So good.”
“It’s your turn.” He looked down at me with his eyes all sleepy and his face completely relaxed.
“How about a quick shower.” He agreed and we padded into the bathroom where I turned on the water.
His phone began to ring.
“I better get that. First yours then mine. It might be Nate and Daire.”
It wasn’t Nate and Daire. It was the school saying that we needed to pick up Toby, Neil being my emergency contact.
“We’ll be right there.” Neil hung up. “That was Toby’s teacher. Says he senses a change is near and to come get him. ”
It took me a few seconds for his words to catch up in my brain. Toby's teacher was a shifter… a cat of some kind. If he said a change was near and to come get him, my son was about to have his first shift.
“Shit. Let’s go.” Neil raced to get dressed and we bolted.
Toby had no signs of being ready for his first shift. None. Not a one.
He wasn’t moody, didn’t sweat, and not once had I seen a change in his eyes. Heck, not once had he scented like fur. He had no signs. But if his teacher thought the shift was near, it was.
“We need someplace to take him,” I told Neil knowing he’d be right on it. I had to focus on getting to the school safely and getting him out of there.
I pulled up, not even parking the car, leaving my keys in the ignition.
Toby was sitting in the office when I walked in, his face was red and there was no disguising the scent of fur.
“Toby isn’t feeling well,” Mr. Landon, the school secretary said. “His teacher says there’s a fever but I haven’t had a chance to check. If he does have one, remember he has to be twenty-four hours fever free to return.”
“I will keep that in mind.” I signed the paper indicating I was taking him home and we walked out to the waiting car. Neil was in the driver’s seat allowing me to sit in the back with Toby who had still not spoken a word. Did I know Neil could drive? Had he been taking lessons? I wasn’t sure, things were happening so fast and my mind was on Toby.
“Toby, you know you’re not in trouble, right?” I asked as Neil pulled out from the curb. I didn’t know where he was going and it didn’t matter. He would take us someplace safe.
“I know. It’s just… Dad… my other dad… was going to take me for my first shift and…” He burrowed his head into my shoulder.
“And you miss him. I miss him too, but you know what?” He shook his head against me. “He’s here. We might not always feel it, but he’s with us all of the time.” I kissed the top of his head. “And the two of us, we’ve got this.”
“Neil too,” his words surprised me. Not because he didn’t love Neil, but because Neil was human. Fully human.
“I’m here.” Neil said from the front seat. “And I got us the perfect place for your first shift.” I looked out the window for the first time since we started. He was pulling into the motel. Daire and Micah’s motel. Of course. “They’re waiting on a permit, so it's empty.”
The reality show participants were having a week off. Neil continued. “Daire told us to go ahead and use it for as long as we need and not to worry about Charlie. They’re having a blast with him.”
“The courtyard.” Toby sat up straight. “You’re really smart Neil. I know you know this, but I wanted you to know I knew, ya know.”
That was an awful lot of knows . Neil must’ve thought so too, giggling from the front seat.
He parked the car and we went inside and to the courtyard.
“Now what, Dad?” Toby asked .
“Now we have Neil order gobs of food and wait until you shift. You're going to be hungry when you're done. Hungry like you’ve never experienced.” My first shift I ate two entire pizzas afterward. Two.
It wasn’t long until Toby took his fur and the first thing he did wasn't to run around or to find his reflection somewhere, no, his first move was to go to Neil and rub up against his leg.
“Look at you,” Neil puffed out with pride. “You are a fine looking fox, Toby!”
“I think I’m going to join him.” I pulled off my shirt. “Can you listen for the food?”
“I would do anything for my family.” He kissed my cheek. “Now go run with our new little fox.”
Family. I loved the sound of that .
I finished getting undressed and took my fur. It was time to play with my son in the way of our beasts.
