Story: From the Ashes
Colt’s also tech savvy. He loves his computers, and he loves hacking into things. Thing is, he hates people. Running a company would put him front and center as the face of Langford Tech. AKA, put him in front of people.
He doesn’t even like being around people here at school. Well, except for us. We protect each other.
“Hey.” I stroll up to the pantry and root around for one of my protein bars. Colt’s quiet and has his head down looking at his iPad. “Did you get the stuff I sent you on the new girl?”
“Yeah, I’m just going through it now. So far, all I got is that she’s an excellent student and could get into any college of her choice but has yet to apply to any of them or show interest in one.”
I hum. “I ran into her on my way back.”
“What?” He pulls his head away from his iPad and pulls his brows in.He adjusts his glasses and gives me his full attention.
“She was walking into Forthright. She didn’t see me. But fuck, she’s sexy as hell. Too bad my father says she’s a problem. He’s hell bent on us getting rid of her. I’d like to sink my dick into her.” I bite my lip and internally groan.
“Awesome.” He deadpans. “So, what’s the plan then?”
“Not sure yet. Still working that out.” I chug my water and then toss the bottle away. I rip open the protein bar and shovel it into my mouth, trying to tame my hunger.
“Hey, assholes.” Mason saunters into the kitchen as I finish up my bar. “New year, Kings. New fucking year.”
Mason Turner comes from a long line of politicians. Currently, his father’s the Mayor of Black Forest with aspirations of running for the Senate. Mason has been primed to eventually get into politics. If he does, he’s going to need a good team to bury the skeletons in his closet. He is a walking man-whore of a scandal.
“I just want to get out of here.” I look over at him, shaking my head.
Mason’s lips thin. “Well at least it’s our last year here. We just have to make it through this bullshit.”
“Yep. No new teachers this year, so they know the drill. Keep us happy.” Colt nods. “Just hoping we don’t have to deal with a lot of outside work beside our little problem student.”
“Did your dad explain why we need to push her out?” Mase walks over to the barstool on the other end of the island and leans his elbows on the counter.
“Nope. I’m sure I’ll know soon enough, though. That’s why I want to know her background. Figure out what his angle is before he tells me. I want to be one step ahead of him on this. This is an odd request and truthfully, I don’t know how comfortable I am with it. Something doesn’t sit right.” I shake my head and frown.“Watch the docks, handle transactions for the business, that I get. Kicking a girl out of school is just weird. But whatever Father wants, Father gets.”
Mase shrugs, toying with a fruit from the bowl on the counter. “We could just make her life a living hell. That’s easy enough to do.”
“Did you get us into her classes, Colt?”
He confirms, “Yep. We are each in at least one of them, or all of us are. But someone is with her at all times.”
“Good. Okay, I need to meet up with Coach Collins to go over some of the new recruits this year. You coming?” I turn to Mason. Him and I are starters on the Darkwood football team. He’s my wide receiver, and we make an unstoppable team.
“Yeah. Let’s roll.”

When dinnertime rolls around, the guys and I make our way over to the dining hall. Most students have been moved into the dorms by now, so the campus is very active. Students are probably walking around now, meeting up with friends and getting excited for the new year.
As we stroll through the campus, students part like the Red Sea for us. They know who we are, and they know their place. They bow before the kings.
A student walking out of Dorian Hall sees us as we come up to the door. He looks down at the sidewalk but holds the door open for us as we stride into the room. The entire dining area falls silent. All the eyes are on us as we head to our table in the center of the hall. Whispers greet us, and eyes hone in on us. And I know, most of the women here are coming up with some plan to try find an in with one of us.
Once we reach our table, a flash of red catches my attention. My eyes immediately find my distraction. Her.
This time, I get to see her up-close, and holy fuck. As she looks up, she sees me, and I watch her falter a bit in her steps. The side of my mouth goes up in a smile, glad to know I have some sort of effect on her. Even if she doesn’t know who I am, she will soon.
Her eyes sparkle with a golden hue. Her long, fiery red hair comes down around her face. She’s short, maybe five feet tall at the most. Her tits are huge, and so much more than a handful. Her hips sway as she walks, and I can’t wait to see her walk past me so I can take in that ass. She has these pouty lips I want to see wrapped around my cock. Fuck.
She quickly moves past me, and that’s probably for the best. I’m all but willing myself not to get hard, and I don’t know if I can control myself and not want to grab her and take her off somewhere to have my way with her.
But for as much as I am trying to will myself to tame my dick, a certain shrill voice pipes up and does the job for me.
