Gavin sighed as their bedroom door closed. They arrived home and Louise ordered Adrian straight to bed while everyone else sat down for dinner.

Seth updated everyone on what was going on at the council offices. A full council meeting had been called and was still ongoing.

Ivan and Gavin updated everyone on their searches, and AJ told them he would start on the wall tomorrow.

Louise, Charlotte, Lissa, and Annie had all shopped for Spencer and Jack, buying clothes, bedroom things, and anything else they decided the boys needed. Jack protested it was too much, but everyone just ignored him.

But now it was just him and Hunter. He walked over to Hunter, who opened his arms and wrapped them around Gavin, before dipping his head and kissing him.

They finally pulled back and Hunter led Gavin to the sofa and sat down, Gavin sitting in his favourite place, on Hunter”s lap, straddling him.

“I missed you today,” Hunter told him.

Gavin smiled and mouthed, “Missed you.” He then signed, “I brought you presents.”

“You did?” Hunter asked in surprise.

Gavin nodded and looked at the coffee table. Dave had told him his deliveries had been taken up to his room for him. Gavin had been lucky that the items he brought had same-day delivery. He jumped up and pushed them closer to Hunter.

Hunter looked at the boxes in surprise, knowing the brands. “You replaced some of my things?”

Gavin nodded and looked a little nervous.

Hunter grabbed Gavin and pulled him into a quick kiss. “Thank you, my darling. Help me open them?”

Gavin nodded and they both opened the boxes. He’d brought Hunter new inks, a new sterilising machine, and a new tattoo machine.

Hunter looked at the machine and stroked it.

Gavin tapped his arm and waited for Hunter to look up before he signed. “Did I get the wrong one? You can change everything and get?—,”

He stopped signing when Hunter grabbed his hands and pulled him into another kiss.

Hunter pulled back, smiling. “Everything you brought is perfect, my darling, and you will be the first person I use my new tattoo machine on. I’m guessing Taha helped you.”

Gavin grinned. “I messaged Owen as I didn’t have Taha’s number. He sent me links to everything.”

“I’ll thank them both tomorrow. I can’t believe I’ll be back up and running so quickly.” He pulled Gavin back onto his lap. “Thank you, sweetheart, for buying these for me. Have I told you lately how much I love you and how perfect you are?”

Gavin blushed.

“And you definitely need another shopping trip with Shelby.”

Gavin gave a silent laugh and signed.

“You’re going to drag Gabe along, as well?” Hunter asked.

Gavin nodded.

“That will be a fun trip. I might even come with you. We’ll have to wait for him to come back, though,” Hunter told him.

Gavin leant forward and kissed Hunter. How did he get so lucky? He couldn’t wait for his tattoo tomorrow.
